What’s More Important Than New Patients?

You just had a no-show new patient appointment and another patient failed to show up for their recommendations.  They didn’t even have the decency to call or text…they just bailed.   This isn’t the first time this has happened, and in the lateral recesses of your mind, you don’t even question this.  You think to yourself just get more new patients to put on top of the departing ones.

If you add up all of the lost income, the lost time and the stress this causes any office, you may want to re-think your new patient strategy.

New patients are indeed the lifeblood of any office, but are they really the holy grail?  You’ve got to ask yourself this question…what’s happened to all of the previous new patients that you’ve had.

New patients may indeed be the problem, but retention is the solution!

Each patient that drops out of care and doesn’t accept your recommendations is costing you thousands of dollars.

Want proof: the patient visit average in most offices hovers at 6 visits.

Keeping patients or retention is actually more important, less frustrating and a heck of a lot more economically satisfying than plowing through low-quality new patients.

Transparent alert: some of my members call me Mr. Miyagi from the Karate Kid, “wax on, wax off.”  With the expertise and wisdom of helping over a thousand DCs, I help expose silent roadblocks on your journey to professional and personal growth.

One thing I know to be true is when you treat each new patient as sacred, they tend to stay around.

Thinking by delivering results only, they will get Chiropractic and stick around is a myth.

You’ll never look at new patients the same way again!
