The Pulse of TNR!
MasterMind & the TNR Seminar are 1 1/2 weeks away
These will hit your Sweet Spot. There will be lots of checks and balances geared towards adding more of what works and getting rid of things that are only okay or don’t work. Stop making your practice difficult. Lots of attention will be focused on solving the problems of DCs who are just starting out and DCs on their way to seeing 1,000 patient visits a week or more. There will be a mixture of new concepts and a deeper meaning of pre-existing concepts this go around. Remember, there is no beginning or end to TNR. Each H2H or event is tongue-in-groove designed to give you what you need, not what you think you want. It’s almost like wearing away layers of accumulated crap that gets in the way of you being great.
MasterMind will feature the two-tiered recommendation (the #1 requested concept currently in TNR), a new way to view your CAs (its time has come!), and concepts that will rediscover your inalienable right to be ultra-successful wherever you practice. Please remember, this humanitarian way of being successful is not taught with marketing and business success where you routinely put profit over people, like with insurance and drug companies.
Where did the boldness go in Chiropractic?
When you are in TNR, you can sure get isolated from the sea of average DCs. In TNR, it's go bold or go home! There’s no shallow end in TNR. You can almost become spoiled with a Navy Seal DC type of fire in your belly. Going to a license credit snoozefest almost feels like cheating. You can feel the drop off of energy in the room. Recently, I was speaking with a DC who started their DC journey at Pallis Chiropractic Center over two decades ago. He was telling me about a classmate of his who had a famous Chiropractor father who was one of the most subluxation based DCs on the planet. Now his focus portrayed on social media is back pain relief via decompression. Whaaat? I also spoke with a recent graduate that wants to delay practicing so she can travel the world and then start practicing Chiropractic in a year or so. Why did she call me? There's too much fear, minimal effort, and boldness disability with way too many DCs.
When you have boldness or fire in your belly, your word is your bond. When you say you will help a person, you help that person. You don’t take no for an answer, no matter the resistance and obstacles you will face attempting to help a person toward health. You separate yourself from all others by making a lasting impression instead of a Snapchat impression that disappears. People gravitate towards people who speak authentically, exert confidence, and who feel a strong connection to others. Practice symptom relief only and your fire will either begin to flicker or it will be extinguished.
It’s very easy to lose your fire in Chiropractic. Stuff happens in life: huge responsibilities, letdowns, disappointments, financial or relationship woes, and not having things go your way. If you’re not careful this blessed thing can become a mere profession that produces income only.
Boldness is like a muscle, to grow it has to be used
I have seen so many of the temporary fixes for problems of Chiropractors. From new patient attractors to income producers, there is a common theme to them all. They are seductively convenient, they seem to work at the beginning, they become the new focus of your office, and then you can buy them on eBay for ten cents on the dollar. There also seems to be an attendant dependency risk with them. For example, in bygone days when DCs were into decompression, the income earned with decompression came at the expense of their Chiropractic adjustments. Why not develop boldness all the time in your Sweet Spot? When DCs discover planet TNR, they are attracted to humanitarian ways of not selling out and putting profit over practice members. This is a win-win affair as healthier people create a healthier planet.
Continuous training includes attending TNR events
It is important for me to see our high-level elite members attending our events. Our events are not just seminars. They actually change your brain chemistry and your confidence to face whatever adversity is thrown your way in practice and in life. No matter how hectic your life is, you need to take advantage of the opportunities to unplug and get your batteries charged in the thing that you went to 8-9 years of college for. You didn’t go to school for 8-9 years to get married or have kids. No matter how many family responsibilities you have, they will not charge your boldness, your ability to see the world differently. There is no substitution for this ingredient.
Once you reach a certain level in TNR, you are looked upon as almost mythical by other members. Newer members don’t realize that you, too, started as an acorn; they only see a great oak. The newer members either know you or know of you. They look for you at the events and want to meet you. They become inspired by your presence and you're setting the example as a serious student. I encourage you to take newer members under your wing. Invite guests to the TNR quarterlies. There is a big difference between just learning and experiencing enough to get by and the Navy Seal attitude of being the best you can be.
So many beginning TNR members have specific goals or economic levels that they want to attain. Attending TNR events a la carte or cafeteria style will not produce the results you want. If you want to realize your goals on a consistent basis, attend everything! Have 2-4 Head-to-Heads per year. No matter how many gizmos have been invented in the world of fitness, the way to results is to train. It’s the sum total of all you gleam from TNR that does it. One may not always be able to point to a particular event (MasterMind, Super Academy, DCME, Mr. Miyagi, H2H) for where you acquired a concept, a way of doing things, or a new mindset that has been a game changer. The longer you attend events, the more you know how to be that Once in a Lifetime DC. In TNR, we refer to this as tongue-and-groove experiencing. This means the events have no beginning or ending, and each event develops on top of the last one.
DCME news
Have you heard the news? There is a brand new, two-tiered recommendation that is being used currently by a handful of TNR members and they are hitting it out of the park. When the concept of DCME was introduced a few years ago it was about the caring of obvious huge cases that were not usually associated with Chiropractic care. This has now morphed into the idea that many of your current practice members want more of you. They didn't have the chance to voice their opinion before. Well now, they do!
When you learn how to perform tiered recommendations, each and every practice member that walks thru your door is given the opportunity to select which recommendations best fits their needs. You’ll be amazed at the sheer numbers of people who elect the heavy duty recommendations. If a person who has low commitment levels was offered only one recommendation, they would think your recommendation is way too much. Conversely, if they saw the heavy-duty, level 2 they would think that level one is more than reasonable. The person who desires the level 2 treatment will think that you made it just for them. This is an evolution of recommendations only for TNR members ready to break out of what industry norms dictate. 2 of the H2Hs that are currently scheduled will be about how to perform the two-tiered recommendations. With these recommendations, it allows TNR DCs the ability to tackle the really difficult cases with ease.
One year anniversaries

Dr. Lizzie Snow of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Drs. Christy and Cliff Taylor of Medway, MA recently have eclipsed the one year mark. Yeah! Congrats and looking forward to exponential growth in your second year of practice!
LHNC news
Miss America, Cara Mund from North Dakota, will be visiting the Fort Peck Reservation on Thursday, March 15th! She will be talking to students from the Wolf Point and Poplar schools. It is our understanding that this is the first time that a Miss America has officially visited a reservation. She will speak to the kids about following their dreams, staying in school, and if you keep at something, dreams actually come true.
This just in!
Every once in a while, something random just happens. There are still a few variables to work out (fear of flying and schedules), but there is a persistent rumor that a well known TNR doctor (Dr. Lisa) from the great north is seriously considering bringing one of her super Naturopathic Assistants to share her experiences of working at Heartland. For those not in the know, she is from the same staff that created over 200 new patients with a single event. They were at it again! When Dr. Lisa was on holiday for 2 weeks, her NAs got a boatload of new patients for her. Imagine coming back from holiday and seeing your schedule book packed with existing practice members and NEW PATIENTS! The plan is a cameo appearance of super NA Melissa at MasterMind and she will be there all day on Saturday. Too many doctors just don’t understand how powerful their teams can be! Don’t miss this opportunity.
Referrals
Is there a fellow DC who you care about that is looking for help? I would love the opportunity to see if we are a good fit. Some DCs can get stuck if they’re in a practice that is not representing their true talents and abilities. Sometimes it takes a little bit of a push from someone they trust to move forward. So reach out to some DCs and have them call TNR to get the process started. They will thank you!
