7-Figure MasterMind Academy Session this week

This is this going to be riveting, deep, and exactly the contrarian style you’ve all come to expect and appreciate in TNR. If there is a subject that brings up fear and emotions, it's WEALTH! There is a reason so many DCs are struggling outside of our program. Winning lotteries, receiving inheritances, and marrying rich doesn’t make this go away. Don’t make the mistake by believing that you will get these concepts through osmosis merely because you're in TNR. Your wealth comes only at the expense of moving past your comfort zone. This workbook will serve you for the next 10 years. Don’t miss out!

As if you need another reason for attending, I will be unveiling a brand new Head-to-Head. It’s never been offered before and it will become very popular, very fast. Just the savings you will receive when purchasing this Head-to-Head will make it worth your while to attend the 7-Figure MasterMind Academy.

Practice tip of the week

Tune in on Facebook live on Mondays at 8:00 am EST and Wednesdays at 1:00 EST and get timely TNR concepts in a lively format. Keep on the path. With so many imitations and substitutions being sold out there, it’s easy to get lost. Lots of DCs are always on the prowl for easier, more convenient ways of becoming a once-in-a-lifetime DC. From seminars on autism and sales closing seminars to the selling of every conceivable service, the temptations are out there. Learning about things passes for experience in the digital age. It still won’t equip you for the world of DCMEs. Regardless of people’s opinions and expectations, it still takes a mixture of extreme love for people and a belief in self and Chiropractic. Even though many of these concepts will seem simple or sophomoric to our advanced members, it’s the foundational concepts and ideas that can’t be emphasized enough. It’s what distinguishes TNR from practice management, sales, closers, marketers, wannabees, etc.

From the mind of Miyagi

One of our neighbors has a dog named Zoey who loves to escape and come over to play with Hachi when she sees us in the yard. The father of this family often comes over to get Zoey and to get my take on things like Chiropractic. We’ve talked about his wife’s view before in past editions. She is all in with a special child who she takes to a DC each week. He is a great guy, however, his respect and understanding of Chiropractic is limited to back pain. He’s got paradigm blindness. Now, remember, his son goes to the DC every week.

This past weekend when he came over to get Zoey he told me about his bout of acute low back pain that he had earlier in the summer while we were on vacation. He had been driving into Boston every day that week and had to fly to London on the next Monday. He told me about his search for DCs that would see him right away and that would let him have it his way. He visited two different DCs over a three day period. There is no loyalty spoken and no respect. Even though his special needs kid gets regular care, he continues to participate in band-aid Chiropractic. To those reading this: which DC do you want to be? This is a concept not to be glossed over or thought of as queer. It’s the ability to say no to potential practice members who will pollute your office. He’s a great guy, just not a great fit for your office. As bad as you feel for him, rewarding people for irresponsibility leads to anarchy, not only individually as a family, but also as a society. Let your walls, your posters, your procedures, and your Health Awareness Seminar protect you from people who gum up the works of your office. There are better offices that actually expect complete disloyalty and a lack of respect. Let them serve people who are proud to be outside the Sweet Spot.

DCME confidential

Confidential-150x150

Question 1: I am being asked to submit treatment notes to an insurance company and attorney for a DCME that finished care 6 months ago. What should I do?  I’ve already been paid.

Answer: Provide the absolute minimum of documentation required for your state or province. A word to the wise: this should have been worked out beforehand. If you’ve created a lasting change in their child's or in their health, usually these people will have better things to do, are supremely happy, and don’t want to harangue you.

Question 2: I am finding it harder and harder to stand behind 3-month recommendations. Philosophically, 3 months is just not enough time to really change the nerve system.

Answer: More and more members are pushing the envelope to 6 months and even a year. Truly committed practice members won’t bat an eye, whereas the nibblers will kick and scream and opt for easier, more convenient methods of relieving symptoms (see the mind of Miyagi article). If they get how important your care is and how, as a result, this child or adult will have a different trajectory in life, they will be all in. This is another reason why having a Health Awareness Seminar is so critical to increase economic flow, as well as superior clinical results.

Love Has No Color news

Rumor has it that a brand new Boot Camp photograph book loaded with action photos will be available in the next few weeks. Each office that attended or helped with fundraising will be receiving a goodie package from Love Has No Color as a thank you. You will really love the contents of the goodie package. We should have a few extra books so please let Dr. Julie know if you are interested in purchasing an additional copy. All offices should have these in their reception areas.

Making Love Has No Color a permanent part of your office

Having a large screen monitor with a video of Boot Camp and Christmas on the Reservation pictures is a great way of keeping your practice members into our humanitarian efforts all year round. Each time I sit in Taylor Family Chiropractic I notice that all the chairs are pointed at the monitor to see pictures of this year’s Boot Camp featuring Dr. Cliff. Everyone watches it each and every visit. It not only keeps practice members from getting itchy, watching a TV monitor is completely natural for the digital age. It engages them and makes them feel part of something bigger than themselves. It really shows when you’re collecting gifts or fundraising, as practice members really want to get and stay involved.

Struggling is a choice

If you have any DC friends that are looking for assistance from getting from where they are to where they want to be, have them contact TNR. Asking for help signals the end of struggle. I was asked last week on a coaching call to help a couple who are in the final stages of a marital dispute that puts 2 kids and a very successful business (non-Chiropractic) at risk. No, they are not DCs, but they are great people who belong in TNR. They were recommended by a TNR member. This may not be our regular TNR member, but this was once said to me: "Dr. Kevin, you don’t just help DCs, you help lots of people that happen to be DCs." Well put.
