The Tao of TNR
Is there depth in your life or are you hiding behind a superficial veneer? Has the well-worn path of the world of appearance permanently seized you? The world of essence is for the few, not the many. The many are busy doing what they are told and are only too eager to accept the limitations laid on them by the authorities. They have been down for so long that they have developed a fear of heights and achievement. The signs of living in the world of appearance are all around us: strained relationships, boredom, economic scarcity, acceptance of what you don’t want and can’t do. This training is about moving away from the world you know and considering the limitless possibilities that await you. No, will not have to shave your head, get an arm sleeve of tats to give you street cred, or give up your possessions. You will look the same, but you will now welcome a life of your choosing, on your terms. It’s called freedom from fear. This is an absolute waste of time in the world of appearance but a gem in the TNR culture. Get 10% off your ticket if purchased before Monday, March 7, 2022. Plan to attend!

Love Has No Color
We will announce the summer dates for Boot Camp/Fun Days soon. With the ways things are hopefully moving, our Canadians will be in force this year at Fun Days. As soon as you receive the dates, put them on your family calendar. I can’t help feeling that there will be a homecoming theme to this year’s celebration.
Opportunities: Won or Lost?
Opportunity redefined is quite simply, choice. Opportunities are sold and marketed to you as deals, money makers, things you have to seize or they will slip away. Not so! They are simply decisions or choices that you make and make good on. The real crux of the matter is giving your best to each and every opportunity. This includes getting training and insight that you don’t have but will help you be successful in your endeavor. To owners, opportunities are life. To operators, opportunities are something to be avoided, to make fun of, etc. When TNR training events were held in hotels, the operators would always head for the washrooms when an opportunity was being offered. The anxiety was that bad! The opportunity before all Chiropractors is to be an owner of their own practice and yet only 10% of graduates will ever take this opportunity. 60% of all marriage relationships fail and not all of the rest are happy either. How about parenting? Same deal. How do you expect to do something without any input or training? A person will be exposed if they wander outside of their lane as an operator since they aren’t a leader or an expert in making their own decisions. You usually can’t look at someone and notice the distinction. You will find out later in life when you attempt to be in a relationship with them (practice members/marriage/friends): they are unavailable, aloof, depressed, unhappy, self-absorbed, or heavy to be around. They leave resistance in their wake everywhere they go. Sound familiar anyone?
When you give your best to all relationships you are involved in, there is an invisible edge: a knowing or feeling, almost like feeling lucky or confident. Every decision you make works not because it was such a great opportunity, rather because it is what you supply to it. It’s not risky when you have this edge. One of the biggest insights I had received from my mentor was about all the lows and highs I would experience as a parent. From that perspective, nothing grabbed or surprised me. I was prepared before the trouble hit. It was still emotionally jarring when it happened, but I could see it through because I was prepared. People who aren’t prepared and vociferously assert they are (think covid madness here, politics, regulatory boards, religion, war, crime, pollution, etc.), fool people into accepting limitations: just chill, don’t put in your best effort with anything, and let others who have authority make decisions for you.
Everything in TNR is an opportunity to help you move away from your previous past history and societal programming. Like strands in a spider web, every relationship you are in will be activated. You will probably receive resistance and questions about your new way of thinking. With input, training, and a new resonation, you can easily acquire great new patients instead of the bottom of the barrel, “my back, my back” complainers with the loyalty of a tick. If you are able to persevere, relationships with your mate, kids, friends, etc. will all be enhanced, even though you probably won’t see more effort on their part. Like a rescue dog, you give your best regardless of your past owner. Humanitarian finds its way back into your heart and once you step foot on the Reservation, you will never be the same. There will be an air of gratitude rather than the air of boredom. The addiction to computers and social media goes away. Economics are 3,5,10 fold the average without losing a bit of serving others because you don’t adopt the profit before people way of doing business (see the Mind of Miyagi.) You will wonder how you could have accepted less previous to TNR. Clinical results are where it all comes together. How can you get better clinical results without constant and continual input? The world of appearance says you get better by playing more golf and then the logical conclusion would be old men would be the world’s best golfers. The world of essence says you get better at anything by practicing and training.
I usually can tell quite early in a person’s TNR journey (the journey into the unknown) if they have the chops to be willing to continue coaching without understanding concepts and language at the beginning. You earn your understanding looking backward after you have time in TNR under your belt. A two-year member quipped, “Dr. Kevin, you are doing a better job of communicating; I can actually understand you a bit.” Truth be told, I didn’t change, but this budding once-in-a-lifetime person is beginning to get off the runway and take flight. And by the way, she is not a doctor. Principles work in any application, regardless of title, position, or letters next to your name.
People that just won’t accept opportunities always need a scapegoat to blame it on. How about when someone says, “I need to go home and talk with my spouse because we go over all decisions.” It’s a bold-faced lie. That person will not take responsibility for making a decision and must include someone else to justify them not seizing an opportunity. Some that I’ve heard for 22 years: Dr. Kevin, I can’t come to the training because we are celebrating my kid’s birthday, my kid has a soccer game, etc. How about all the silly people that have squandered business opportunities and are blaming it on covid? They gave up while there are others that are setting personal bests in the same environment. It’s not the external circumstances; it’s the inner wiring of the individual.
From the Mind of Miyagi

This is a note about the economic philosophy of TNR. It has become customary in the world of appearance or disease orientation to sell as much as possible for the highest possible price that people will pay. That is of course if you are in the prevailing party of MDs, drugs, thugs, and mayhem, with absolutely no humanity and you place profit before people. If you aren’t in this group, you are the enemy and will be dealt with severely. It doesn’t matter that you help people, only which party you support with your life. If you are not vaccinated or if you have the wrong letters next to your name, you are a target. You must be a warrior to thrive in wartime or emergency conditions. How about TNR DCs being asked to roll up their sleeves or surrender their licenses? They are remaining on course: the essence of TNR at its finest.
Profit, fear, politics, and agenda are the driving forces in this mass hysteria of global destruction. Have you ever seen a parent that knows nothing about health trying to convince their kids with authority why they participate while forcing their kids to put their yet lived lives on the line? Talk about stolen innocence! Fake and censored science, news reports, social media, and the internet are the Gestapo tools used to mandate its utmost importance in your life. Chronic disease and fear of disease are the cash cows of the disease culture. Health is a joke all about chance, genetics, or luck, but not by choice. When real doctors hear about miracles by non-MDs, they patronizingly mock the person and dismiss it as anecdotal. You can’t cross party lines even for the health of an individual. Take one for the team, forget about your own freedoms and liberty, do what you are commanded to do. Lower resonating people absolutely buy into there is no cause or origin of disease; hence no responsibility on their part. Only when it has festered silently and then is diagnosed in its chronic state are you forced to reckon with it. The emphasis on prevention is lip service to live as you want until disease catches up with you.
Countries with socialized healthcare (it’s the same disease care just repackaged) disguise it by the appearance of caring, kind MDs who are subsidized by the government to provide minimum disease care for all. (According to Mark Twain, it’s so easy to fool people, but very difficult to convince people they have been fooled.) Governments so smugly proclaim this is how much we care for our citizens when regardless of the amount of disease care administered, it’s not health. We have a similar institution in the US called the Veterans Administration (administration, not health care) that is known for bureaucracy, paperwork, exclusions, and anything except quality health care for patients. The lowest quality of care is administered to people who don’t know what health is; they believe they are getting the best even though the actual emphasis is on disease and administration, not patient care or health. The deception lives on.
How can we blast through the quarter-inch of concrete in the craniums of DCs, NDs, healers, and other members of TNR so they understand the fair exchange philosophy of health and healing and embrace an increased resonation that will awaken people out of their slumber? In the early days of TNR, a practice management guru shared the stage with me and said to sell as much as the market can bear. He went on to say “people are never going to understand or work towards health, wellness, or changing the world. You better join the ranks of symptom relief (MD care, world of appearance) and make as much as you can rather than the futile attempt to force people to do something they don’t want to do.” This might aptly be termed the philosophy of profit, selling, and embracing the philosophy of disease (world of appearance.) No one suspects this orientation affects everyone on the planet individually as well as collectively. After all, we are all interconnected. No wonder there has not been an evolution of humanity, just more of the same. There is no escaping its clutches. From global pollution to war and corruption, it’s been termed the Predicament of the Species. Science and technology add to the problem rather than its solution, but people can’t see it.
TNR stands for something different. Instead of trying to sell the treatment of disease, our doctors, healers, and coaches simply provide a resource for those who might be interested in health. We believe in a philosophy of access, not selling. It’s strictly voluntary and considered ridiculous by real doctors or the doctors of disease, death, and profit. We believe in having a lifestyle of fitness rather than crash diets, liposuction, operations, dangerous chemicals, etc. The most difficult journey you will ever undertake is walking away from the world of appearance: the world of science, disease, and death. You are not mad at it, you just don’t participate in it. Have you ever wondered why you are the last one asked when a relative or loved one has a disease? Now you are somebody because they have diabetes, cancer, a rare form of cancer, etc. You are not part of that system; do you really have to pretend you are to make a living and to be accepted by spouses, family, and friends? Or do you have the personal power to offer people a different way with a different philosophy? Level 2 is a passageway back through time. It is two people joined as one with shared interests and a common goal. It’s when a person takes another under their wing and gets them through a most difficult time. No excuses, no stories, just results. Imagine a pre-historic caveman descending down a mountainside to rescue a fellow caveperson. He is risking his life to save another. It’s the archetype of putting another’s needs before you. I wonder if the other caveman wondered about insurance coverage, board regulations, or vaccination status. I wonder if others who were watching the feat of him saving a life asked if he had permission to save a life.
The sooner you realize in every fiber of your being that you are the stewards and protectors of a sacred trust, the sooner you will stop caving when it comes to criticism and rejection from people who insist on disease rather than health, and the faster you can thrive in your lane. You cannot force anybody to utilize your care or adopt your philosophy. Demonstrate and demonstrate; stop answering questions that don’t have an answer. Every time you stand tall for your Level 2 recommendations you are recognizing all the people before that have done the same thing. The two paradigms are mutually exclusive (disease and health) and antithetical to each other. One is popular and convenient and the other is mysterious and requires effort. Living as an outsider who offers alternative care (what could be an alternative to health?) or as a less than essential person saps your spirit; this will create darkness in your life that will not be cured by materialism, awards, trophies, or FaceBook likes. Let your true self shine and attract the few; don’t try to attract the many.
DCME Confidential

Question 1: Why does it sting so much having a DCME/Level 2 drop out of care?
Answer: Because everything is heightened: life and death circumstances, family dynamics, really getting to know a person on the inside, and, of course, economic considerations. You need thick skin to do DCMEs on a consistent basis.
Question 2: I’ve spoken with a few practice members about my newfound abilities with difficult cases and some of them smirk or laugh and then say they will be in touch with me. What gives?
Answer: You can’t be a prophet in your hometown. They know you as “my back, my back” and now you’ve changed identities. They are only reflecting that they want you to stay as their back doctor and not expand to include DCMEs.
