TNR Happenings 9.12

Tao of TNR Is This Saturday!

In the world of appearance, the ordinary affairs of the world, there is no Tao. It’s thought of as esoteric, quaint, outdated ,and unnecessary. Imagine wisdom to serve people at all points in time is discarded for digital misinformation. There is only form in our society, not essence. What a privilege and honor it is in TNR to have brave members who wish to ‘pierce the veil’ or look under the tip of the iceberg to see what is really going on with all endeavors of their lives. Everyone knows how to be a doctor, coach, etc., but on the other side of the coin is something more than technical skill or ability only. How can one have so much college preparation and still fail and get marginal clinical results? Everyone knows how to get married, how to have a kid, buy a house, etc. And yet we remain hostages to unseen forces that we just don’t understand that make our lives a living hell. Without knowing the Tao, life is superficial, 154 characters, shallow, and lacks purpose and meaning. You have a responsibility to and for any concept or idea whether you recognize it or not. It’s humanity, freedom, and the ability to stand alone before the lie and the liar (up to and including). Unfortunately, this orientation to life places us in hot water with our tribe of origin, spouses, and friends. They point to the study, dedication, and expense and consider it totally a waste or, at the least, unnecessary. It takes such courage to seek (and find) truth instead of enduring the endless lies, deceptions, and unjust laws of a society that insists on being at war with its people, the environment, and people who don’t think alike. We have been programmed to live a second hand life passed down from our parents, teachers, the media, and the government. Growth is not welcomed and is regulated and limited by the powers to be in any time era. To be on the hero’s journey is never comfortable. It’s not a cookbook, an app, a sleight of hands, a trick, a technique, or academic achievement. Can you move a person’s molecules in a predictable fashion? Do miracles surprise you as much as your practice members or do you expect them everyday?

Christmas on the Reservation

We were just on the Reservation a few weeks ago for our Boot Camp/Fun Days, so some of you might be thinking that it’s a bit early to be talking about Christmas on the Reservation. NEVER! Each year takes more commitment, dedication ,and fuel (donations) to better last year’s efforts. Starting early takes the heat off. If you wait until the end your best effort will not be represented. Each and every one of your communities needs to be involved. Encourage them by having a Love Has No Color kiosk, pictures on the walls, or a video running every day in your office. Create a Love Has No Color wall. Hang up Love Has No Color tee shirts from previous years. The point is to put your spirit behind it; don’t leave it up to your practice members to carry the energy. Most don’t get it and others really want to make a difference. With shipping costs what they are and the customary delays, it falls on Dr. Julie to coordinate with Kenny and his right hand person, Vernice, to match each gift with each kid. Traditionally we asked each office to raise a specific item like coats, sneakers, boots, etc. This worked great at the time. What experience has taught us now is they have huge surpluses of one item and not enough another. Now we precisely match each gift to each kid. Dr. Julie scours the internet for sites to purchase the gifts at the best price that many times includes free shipping. Shipping costs traditionally topped thousands of dollars and now this money is translated into more gifts with less bureaucracy and waste.

Molly

Molly ventured from the far side of Canada and is the first Canadian TNR dog to travel to Massachusetts. She loves spending time with her new buddies, Hachi, Shady, Roscoe, & Copper. She is such a cutie!

If there is one thing that Level 2/DCME/Miracle Training teaches us is that people OVERESTIMATE their abilities to get out of problems and UNDERESTIMATE what it will actually ask of them to get the job done. It’s a continuing theme in the world of ordinary affairs. Seek, but do not find. Become a searcher, guru hunter, or reader searching for the hidden scrolls of Ali Baba. People always confuse activity with achievement levels. Most parents of handicapped kids in your office almost completely look past you (like you are invisible)  and instead join the futile, endless circus of medical activities, procedures, experimental drugs, and body amputations that don’t achieve results. They will say with tired indignation: “I’d love to commit to more care in your office; however, all the other activities have taken up my time and money.” I’m not getting anywhere; however, I’m going to stay with this sinking ship.

Is the previous paragraph speaking of marriage, parenting, relationships, or your practice?  If you’re reading this you already know the answer, but it still hurts doesn’t it? Breaking away from the gravitational field of the world of ordinary affairs is never easy. Society has hidden and not so hidden ways of programming people so this doesn’t happen on a frequent basis. If too many people make the journey, they will simply enact a law or pull the puppet strings on the programmed masses to exert pressure on us (wearing a mask, getting a jab, having conventional, ineffective and dangerous treatment methods), fine us, take away leisure activities like travel, or revoke your economic license to create income (board regulation).

Don’t get sucked in by people who wish to make the journey and find themselves unable to do it. It’s not called the hero’s journey for nothing. Many attempt it, few accomplish it. The world or appearance has set up all the necessary landmines to ensure all but the few make it. There is also a tremendous price to pay with saying goodbye to your toxic enforcers of societal norms, up to and including. It’s not cutting them out of your life, (although sometimes it’s necessary for safety or survival reasons), it’s no longer allowing them to punish you, to shame and guilt you, to say you owe them, to control you, to manipulate you, to castrate you, or to hold you hostage financially. You are free and everyone around you insists they are as well. Harriet Tubman claimed she could have helped so many more people with her underground railroad, except she couldn’t convince them they were slaves.
