The Tao of TNR
The world of ordinary/appearance will be exposed. It’s your chance to gain a different vantage point and a new sense of adventure; and to see the lies and illusions society is betting you will accept, protect, and defend all in the name of being a good citizen. It also gives you a permanent economic advantage over others who refuse to reinvent themselves, meekly following the norms of their profession. Society has nothing to do with essence, a higher calling, or doing what’s right. Deep thinking is not its function, only what’s expedient, convenient, and takes no higher levels of discernment or consequences for the future. Pollution comes to mind.
Everything you do, think, feel, or emote is based on previously established, invisible beliefs that hold you invisibly in shackles. You actually have very little ability to veer from societal norms. You experience things, but you put the glasses of superficiality on and you see little in the world of essence. Take traffic for example. We all hate it but what do we know of it? NOTHING! There are solutions; however, we ACCEPT there are none and we bitch, complain, and moan about the ‘unchangeable’ reality of traffic. Other examples are covid, chemo, radiation, war, politics, and religion. We don’t dare question or go beyond the assumptions and beliefs of society. The Tao of TNR shows the other side to every problem you have in practice and life. It examines PRINCIPLES and shows you how to live a life with principle instead of a life that is dictated by social media, mob mentality, superficial, instant gratification, and self-indulgence.

LHNC News
If you still have any donations for this year’s Fun Day, let Dr. Julie know. People on the Reservation (especially the elders and kids) are still buzzing about this year’s effort. So many people were served with those great cartons of scrumptiousness. The look on their faces when they realized it was real! Life is so much more adventurous, zesty, and vital when you go above and beyond what others do or expect: the rescue dog mentality.
Miracle Training
I had a doctor reach out to me with a profound question. They have a practice and a family and asked if there was a way to add some Miracle Training. They are in a circumstance they didn’t ask to be in and they are asking for my help with a solution that they can’t see. It’s like the profound question from years ago by a North of the Border TNR member who asked if members could do Miracle Training. At the time I thought of it as that’s not what it’s designed for. Now it’s a way of life for many. Getting back to this doctor, I devised a schedule where they would fly in on late Thursday (like so many young DCs, they don’t work on Friday) and leave on Sunday. Not ideal, but the job will get done; it just will take some time. Could this be for a non-member, like a sister or brother or someone you care for and will not make the time commitment? This will be determined on a case-by-case basis. If you know someone who is going down the drain, speak to me.
From the Mind of Miyagi

Do you have any comprehension of how near and dear the role you play in society is? Our roles define us. If you meet a person for the first time, invariably you will ask, ‘What do you do?’ Moving away from the dutiful roles we play is akin to speaking in public for many. We stay in these roles until something pries them away from us: death, old age, disease, depression, divorce, etc. We get comfortable and familiar with them and protect and defend them to death.
For doctors and healers, society always reminds you with guilt and shame (cash grab) if you get out of line with your fees or recommendations. You must have the confrontation factor lacking in so many digitally raised adults. Caving is a national pastime; making a stand and following through is as old-fashioned and quaint as the old west. TNR is all about transformation. A new you emerges with different thoughts, behaviors, and expectations that are at odds with the entitlement of people when it comes to healthcare. Would you walk up to an oil derrick pumping oil and demand they give you the oil for free? Oh, that’s different you say. It’s business you say. So isn’t your practice. You can be humanitarian and successful. They are not mutually exclusive states.
DCME care is unheard of in our society. Other than traveling to a faraway land and having expensive, futile letdowns, it’s the stick of dynamite that people are looking for, especially when all traditional methods have failed. It’s for those people who would rather buy a kidney than die on the waiting list, no matter who cries foul. Why is including the 21-Day DCME Video Program so difficult? It’s because it identifies you as different and a non-conformist: a contrarian to be dealt with. You become a target. As anyone who gets in on the basement level of any movement, you know there is a price to be paid by the few. Then the privileges earned will be enjoyed by the many who wouldn’t do the heavy lifting at the beginning. Some things never change.
DCME Confidential

Question 1: My DCME/Level 2 is getting help from many other sources than my office? This bothers me. Should I be concerned?
Answer: It’s all a matter of trust, the emotional connection you make, and the makeup of the person being cared for. There are family and social dynamics that you don’t see. If you think that your patient will give up taking drugs for the rest of their life, you will live a bitter life of disappointment. Save their lives and get on with it.
Question 2: I have a huge DCME/Level 2 that will not make the commitment and languishes with Level 1 care which doesn’t cut it. Should I have them walk the plank?
Answer: Don’t become a fundamentalist. Be of service to them as much as you are able. They make the decision to participate in care. You make the recommendations. In most cases like this, the patient will never know of the danger they are in and you can’t wake them up. Aren’t all cases actually Level 2 when you get right down to it?
