Miyagi Is On November 4th
“Dr. Kevin, I’m just fine the way I am. I’m a respected member of my community, have a nice family, obey the covid rules, and accept that I am a pain relief-only doctor. Isn’t that enough?” It certainly is in the world of appearance. It isn’t if you desire more, want more, aren’t okay with being average, and have a hunger or need to soar that can’t be slaked by endless hours wasted on the internet. Here is writing from the past from Matt Braun, a Western writer:
“While Prentice knew full well that life could only be understood backward, he was distinctly aware that it must be lived with audacity. Those who waited for the last card to show before making their move invariably ended up sucking hind tit (a Western term for finishing last). Yet goaded as he was by this need to soar even higher, it was a hunger that he never fully comprehended. It was one of those things a man could fathom only when looking back; rarely, if ever, did he recognize it for what it was while he was living it. Sometimes he believed it was simply a gnawing of the gut, a loneliness of the mind or flesh. Then that indefinable thing that lived inside his head would flare anew, and he realized all over again that the furies of the soul were like some carnivorous beast. Always hungry never satisfied, driven on and on by the needless will to stand above the petty commonplaces of lesser men.
Sadly, it was the kind of hunger few could imagine, much less attribute to one of their own. Neither his parents, wife nor family and friends could understand what drove him…and that bothered him at times. It sealed him off, made his life a solitary thing. For there was no one like-minded enough to share his thoughts…or his dreams. Yet, it did not diminish what he saw in himself, or lessen the savor of what he had accomplished. Instead, it spurred him in some curious way to test himself even further…to reach still higher.“
For a Western writer, he sure had his finger on the pulse of a warrior. Plan to attend the Miyagi Training!

Christmas on the Reservation News
Christmas on the Reservation has begun. We have already sent socks and underwear to Kenny Smoker. We are being asked to do more once again. Start your fundraising efforts immediately. You have two choices: 1 - you can collect monetary donations and send the money to Love Has No Color either by check or PayPal. 2 - you can collect gifts and ship them to Kenny’s address. Just get your offices, families, and friends behind this incredible opportunity. The joy it brings to the kids is hard to imagine, it’s more easily experienced. Participating in this event is one of the gems of TNR to be looked forward to year after year. If you are ordering gifts yourself, please let Dr. Julie know what type of gifts you are ordering and how many. It helps to know what has to be sent so we don’t just cover first or second-graders and not seventh-graders, for instance. If you are undecided, collect money as it’s easier to cover all grades evenly and we don’t have 199 extras of whirly globes and nothing for the older or younger kids.

From the Mind of Miyagi

A word of thanks here. TNR is a journey into the unknown where you will encounter meteorites like truth, health, a contrarian outlook, and weeding the garden, and that success sure is a galaxy away from the world of appearance or how most of us were raised. To those who are open-minded enough to attend all the events, Head-to-Heads, trainings, and raise money each and every year, I and Dr. Julie thank you. It’s not such a difficult journey, it’s just that all of your inner circle friends will question why you feel the need not to belong and champion average beliefs. If you have an open-minded individual who is looking to belong to a group that stands for something beyond individual needs, send them my way.
DCME Confidential

Question 1: Why are people so reluctant to commit to their health?
Answer: Because commercials, schools, governments, medical care, and billboards they have seen have encouraged disease and discouraged health.
Question 2: My potential DCME/Level 2 said they would love to do a 6-month care plan, only if they can pay at the end if they think it was worth it. Should I do it?
Answer: No; move on. No auditions, try-outs, or convincing are needed, nor wanted. There are lots of others willing to take their place. Although it can help the many, it’s only designed for the few.
