DCME Is Finally Here!

I can’t wait to see you all, it’s been too long! The community, the excitement, and a new year are upon us. There will be an emphasis on economics stemming from the fact that many are being weighed down by the lingering effects of the lockdown: Playing small and getting slapped around by ungrateful people. You are not in business to just get by, hire staff, and pay taxes. 90% of recent graduates work for Chiropractors instead of opening their own office. Be bold and adventurous; society will not stand by you as a provisional doctor. You can be replaced. Become indispensable. If you can earn 3,5,10x the DC down the street without becoming a predatory BSO salesperson, why wouldn’t you? Become a Navy Seal, not a cook in the Navy. Don’t be embarrassed or ashamed of profit for giving people second chances in life. Even increasing the quality of life of patients with pain relief is worth your hire.

How can a society be so far off-center by not committing resources (money) to improve the quality of life and health for their families? What is money really for if not investing in life? Put people over profit; do not follow the business, government, pollution, war, pharmaceutical, or political way of putting profit over people. Even if you never choose to see a DCME, wouldn’t you want out-of-this-world clinical abilities for yourself and your family? As always, there will be a few new wrinkles and concepts. There will be seat belts and smelling salts provided; you’ll need them. If you are on the fence about attending, call Dr. Julie today!

The Artifacts Are Here!

Every few years Kenny provides Native American Artifacts for sale to fund HPDP and LHNC activities. He has made offerings maybe 4-5 times in 20 years. Dr. Julie will be emailing a link to pictures and the prices of this year’s artifacts. There is a hidden, ugly fact about running a 501-3c operation: It takes fuel! The need for fuel never ends. The world’s foremost expert in third-world poverty, Jeffery Sachs, has a word for it. It’s called sustainability. The fuel (money) that is needed after the initial launch of the building of the buildings, buying materials, etc. is the number one reason for failure. He should know, he has the ears of presidents, country leaders, and royalty from all around the world. He estimates there are thousands of school buildings in Africa that are overgrown with weeds and dilapidated because of the lack of insight into the continual hiring of teachers, custodians, paying taxes, security, etc.

Kenny’s offerings are finite as those of you who have purchased them in the past know of the time it takes for him to hand create these. Everyone is encouraged to buy everything just like we do at the trading post. Clean him out. Open it up to your practice members. First come, first served. Kenny has already dedicated enough of his time. 100% of the funds go to whatever is needed and are not funded by the tribe. Under the tip of the iceberg, there is always a need for sustainability. As a member, you may not notice it, but it's there. Like a nursing baby, it’s always hungry even when you just fed him/her.

The Burden of Proof in the World of Appearance

Whenever a person gets sick, they are flooded by well-meaning, secondhand recommendations of what to do to fix the problem. All members reading this (and spouses sneaking a peek) have read extensively about the 4 Ds: Death, disease, divorce, and depression. They are unwelcome intrusions into your life. People make the mistake of dispensing silly, anecdotal advice about something they know nothing about besides hearing about something similar or their mishandling of the 4 Ds.

In the world of appearance, it’s like being on a game show. You are being made fun of behind your back, joked about, or second-guessed by an audience of shut-ins or people who need entertainment and make fun of others for daily amusement. This is like social media. Think Howard Stern here. The burden of proof is NEVER “Have you experienced this in truth, or do you derive your primary income from caring for people in this circumstance?” I’ve heard it is as meaningful as the justice you will receive in a courtroom or health in a hospital. Underneath all the noise and confusion, there is an agenda. This agenda is carefully hidden from the many. Nobody you know hasn’t experienced a new baby shower without a car seat being on the register. You must put your kid in a car seat and yet, there you stand grinning and waving at the school bus that only has a seat belt for the driver. What? The burden of proof is always over the comprehension of the many. The powers to be count on being invisible to the many. They will even protest or rant and rave on social media about injustices being fed pieces of carefully synthesized misinformation.

Ever notice how many unpaid advocates the government has? With the man-made pandemic, there were millions upon millions of people enforcing false mandates like masks, social distancing, and social tracing. (Anytime you are ordered by the government to do something for your good, run!) People went along with losing businesses all to be socially accepted and a card-carrying comrade. People who didn’t know anything about health would get in your face attempting to intimidate you into compliance. The same holds true when you have your back against the wall with the 4 Ds.

Decades ago, even though there were hundreds of research studies showing the efficacy of Chiropractic (healing, quicker recovery, fewer deaths), the burden of proof was Chiropractic still was not covered. People willingly paid $30,000 for a procedure that had earned an ugly reputation as the beginning of lifelong affliction. Readers of this newsletter have experienced personally that when the care is even prepaid, people refuse to change their minds, including watching family members die. Imagine the stalling tactics and the made-up laws that prevent Native Americans from ever possessing what was theirs in the beginning.

The burden of proof has at its foundation an agenda of the ruling party. Anything other than medical care is frowned upon even in life-and-death circumstances. Like war, they will applaud you for following the rules of society by fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Real courage is going outside of the agenda and saving your life or putting yourself in a realm of possibility rather than impossibility. Have you ever noticed that insurance covers almost anything in the medical realm?

Understand that we, as practitioners and healers, are in our ways deliberately sabotaging our fees, recommendations, place in the medical world, etc. Yes, there is resistance out there; however, you still have a choice of how you’re going to practice: defensively, crouched, playing small, or reclaiming the miracle of healing that nobody owns. It’s available to all, accessible to only a few dedicated enough to become once-in-a-lifetime healers regardless of the letters next to your name or the absence of these letters.
