DCME Training Is On July 13th

Today, the trend is towards bright, shiny objects, sales, marketing, computer billing programs, and the like instead of more of what we love: tic. For many DCs, the slice of the pie showing income from pure Chiropractic keeps shrinking as their income from nutrition, weight loss, juice plus, massage, therapy, etc. keeps increasing. Stay in your lane with your passion and purpose and develop your craft. Dare to become a once-in-a-lifetime doctor/healer. Being an average face-in-the-crowd takes no passion. Giving people what they want is a surefire way to become burnt out in a hurry and leave lots of economics on the table. Only through a blending of the doctor and the practice member can there be a resolution in a disease process. Medical care/technology/amputation pretends to alleviate the responsibility of the afflicted person. In doing so, they become a hostage for the rest of their life. Think diabetes, concussions, blood pressure, etc. Relying on anything or anyone to do your part will end up biting you in the ass.We must preserve the essential uniqueness of who we are that should never be compromised in relationship to anyone or anything.” (from pg. 12 of the Grief Retreat) Make plans to attend this training - keep your passion and purpose burning!

Fundraising Is In High Gear

Donations, donations, donations!!! We have thousands of mouths to feed and hundreds of kids to entertain. This will be the most ambitious, event-packed Fun Day to date. We will celebrate the 20th anniversary of our partnership with the Fort Peck Reservation. We need all members to step up in a big way. Two thousand bags of groceries is more than doable for our group. Mark your calendars now, and don’t let anything get in the way of serving the kids and adults. Bring your ideas and talents to the Reservation for individual pods for the kids. Don’t get too fancy. The kids want to have fun and share their joy with us. Keep it simple. If you have the chops and the kid power, your followers will stay with you all day. There is a persistent rumor that some years back, we almost had to hire a traffic cop for Dr. Lisa’s pod because of the mass of kids.

I am honored to release a caged bird (an eagle/falcon) into the wild. My Miracle Training client, who many of you met during the Grief Retreat, is being returned to the world. He already has his own place and is on his own. He has called upon his inner strength and courage to face the world front and center. He is graduating this Saturday and already has attracted and worked several jobs. He goes door to door, handing out his TNR custom-made flyer, and is being reintroduced to the world and its people, who he has hidden from for 23 years.

Learning the 4 R’s we live by was mind-blowing for him. Is this what you teach the doctors, he asked. I said not to get sucked into speaking about the job at first. Like a doctor, you are out of sequence listening to symptoms without forming a relationship first. You must enter into a relationship (first R) and blend with them. Next comes Retention, as you don’t want to plow through your new clients. Send them a hand-signed card, a kind of first phone call thanking them for believing in you and asking if they know of others who need the Handy Handyman. Next is Referral. When the job is completed satisfactorily, ask them if they have friends or family members needing work. Finally, the 4th R is the result. You will get superior results when you are in a relationship with people. Attempting to skip the 4 R’s and get down to the business at hand is a tragic mistake of low resonating people.

There is a sticky nature to generational suffering, struggle, low economics, etc. Have you ever had a DCME/Level 2 that didn’t respond like others? It likely had generational suffering at its core. Without their approval or permission, they were raised by parents who imposed their religion, beliefs, morals, or politics on them. Invisibly, they are still an advocate for something they did not come up with and have nothing to do with them. When you say DON'T DO IT!, and people still do it, it gives you a clue about what is happening. As hard as dropping your story is, the odds are slim to next to impossible when it's generational. Most of my MT clients are generational, as evidenced by the number of failed doctors they have seen before seeing me.

Question 1: My DCME/Level 2 client is just not responding. She whines and complains about everything, especially if we do anything outside the office. I try to push her, but she resists. What should I do?

Answer: You are not in a relationship with her yet. She doesn’t feel safe, beautiful, or welcomed. Yelling at a barking dog gets you nowhere. She doesn’t feel understood by you. Communication skills are much more important than technical skills. She will not give you her best until you win her over.

Question 2: I have a potential DCME/Level 2 client who says the only reason she is not doing it is price. Is she hosing me?

Answer: YES! What she won’t do, many others will. Don’t focus on resistance; the right message to the right people spells success.
