Last Week To Purchase Grief Retreat Tickets

We still have a few people who have not purchased their May 16th and 17th tickets. We need to know how many will attend, so call Dr. Julie this week. Logistics enter the equation as we plan for the outdoor activities. We will have two groups, and if you are bringing a guest (companion ticket), they will be assigned to the group that you are not in.  Everyone will have an authentic, personalized experience, rather than having to play a role of meeting others' expectations.

Grief Retreat

Love Has No Color Update

You will be receiving your official fundraising letter soon. This year, we need to raise lots of money for our maiden voyage in Billings. Our vendors, contacts, helpers, etc., are brand new, and their reliability has not been tested. This means it will be an adventure with lots of audibles being called (changes, adaptations, etc.). When you are thinking of pods and activities, know that we will be near a big city where we can buy supplies that we forgot. We won’t be isolated from the box stores. Try to be self-contained and bring what you think you will need with you. We don’t know how many helpers we will have from the Eagle Seeker Community Center. This reminds me of when we were on the Reservation during the greatest hoax ever. We had to meet off campus secretly and make covert plans to distribute gifts. Covert plans to bring joy to kids at Christmas! It all worked despite all of the safeguards that had been in place to lock down the Reservation. Up your leadership in your offices and communities by inviting guests like VIP practice members and family to join us in our inaugural landing in Billings. We need all hands on deck.

From the Mind of Miyagi

Would it be amazing to know people's intent before entering relationships with them? Or would the mystery, thrill, heartbreak, betrayal, or trust be absent? I’ll clarify this concept. You have had many teachers in your life. What was their intent or connection to their students? Was it merely a way to earn money, a second choice because they couldn’t get any other job? Or was it a driving passion in their life to influence and guide children? You had a few teachers who made it their business to take you under their wing and pushed you to dig deep to express your hidden, dormant gifts. You only remember the exceptional few, not the many. Quick: Who was your 5th-grade teacher? If they were special, you would remember; if not, they blend into obscurity. How about a professor at Chiropractic or Naturopathic college? It is the same deal.

Most adults find themselves in cruise mode, coasting in their daily lives. You will never get their best effort, only a minimum effort. They have enough talent, skill set, or education to get by and be a card-carrying member of the world of the ordinary. They have a job, home, cars in the driveway, kids, etc., with an implied level of economic security. Everything goes pretty smoothly until they are asked to adapt, change, or something becomes disruptive in their life. Their boat looks good moored at the dock with no wind or waves. With the wind and waves, their intent will be exposed. Every time they ask for help, they will be exposed to this inconvenient truth. If their kid is falling behind, they may ask for help from special education teachers. Are these teachers there to propel the kid out of the special ed wasteland of no improvement, only babysitting, or will they treat the kid as just another kid that will struggle with lifetime scars of shame, guilt, and inadequacy? There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE! How about in sports? Is the coach a role model for shaping athletes, developing talent and character, or just fielding a team for the umpteenth time? This depends on the intent.

We see this difference over and over again on the reservation. Some teachers are grossly underpaid, who buy school supplies on their dime to better the classroom experience for the kids. Other teachers use sternness, bullying, and intimidation instead of intending to develop these young minds. One teacher, an old witch, sent a kid down to the office to miss out on the Christmas on the Reservation experience for disciplinary reasons. Just because her life didn’t turn out how she wanted it to, she sentences the kids to the same.

What is your intent as doctors or healers? The paradox is that you need economics, yet you can’t turn your back on healing the person. With most, you can see where the focus of their office is very quickly. Is it a warm, inviting atmosphere with excellent, lively staff or a cold, aseptic, name, rank, and serial number type of place focused on insurance coverage and paperwork? Isn’t the focus supposed to be on healing, not reimbursement? You can’t get to the healing without reviewing the paperwork, etc. It’s not either or; as you know, it’s both. You want to grow in both directions, not one or the other. At the core, you had better be able to move molecules without touching.

There are so many disappointments in life, and many around you didn’t receive the best effort of a person, government, doctor, lawyer, parent, spouse, institution, etc. They got the bum’s rush. “What is wrong with people?” The minimum effort is prevalent in the ordinary world, doing just enough not to get divorced, to get paid, to get by, etc., and nothing extra. I’ve heard so many heartbreaking stories about relationship strain. One thing that sticks out is when one person (or both) stops working as a team and starts looking after their needs. Life is a continual adventure when you intend to exceed expectations rather than meet them. You feel alive and demonstrate and represent rather than point out others' shortfalls of intent. To receive a person’s best effort is a thing of beauty that is sadly reserved for the few.

Miracle Training

Miracle Training With Dr. Kevin

When people find themselves in the grasp of severe circumstances, many rely on people who are only attempting to eradicate the illness/circumstances by declaring war. They know of no other way and will not tolerate insubordination or alternate methods, regardless of their efficacy and lack of side effects. They protect their agendas and methodologies at all costs. They place profit over people. They are out to destroy the offender with a warring mindset. Are people with mental/emotional impairment locked up as treatment or punishment? The intent is the same with germs, viruses, depression, tumors, etc., from dropping napalm on them to amputation, rat poison, radiation poisoning, etc. Kill the enemy, and everything will be okay. Nothing could be further from the truth.

With actual healing of difficult cases, there is a peculiar effect that people don’t know about, ignore, or are ignorant of: all relationships will change. You can’t go back to Kansas as the same person! It doesn’t matter; for better or worse, these relationships will change. Most people do not handle change very well. Many people have grown accustomed to the circumstances with no change in sight. They endure, rather than resolve. I have had many people tell me that they liked the person when they were alcoholics or druggies. They were predictable, and you knew what you were dealing with. Now that they are no longer alcoholics or druggies, all people connected with them must change.

You see this all of the time when the necessary conditions you ask for are not met: payment, time, their part in their healing (like DCME homework), or they suspect the gravy train may be over. There is a lot of co-dependency spoken here. Resistance is the answer to this conundrum. Their ego-consciousness doesn’t care if you live or die; it cares only about the status quo. Realize they are saying no to change, not to you. They look at it based on their needs, not the individual's

Question 1: A family member needs my care, but they are hesitant, and so am I. I don’t know if I should cross the family line.

Answer: As a general rule, pass on it. There are many landmines, like with personalities, etc. See the above article. If it is to happen, the individual must be ready to do whatever it takes, including letting certain inner circle people go if necessary. This is too much for the average person.

Question 2: Why are the fees for DCME care so much higher?

Answer: DCME care requires more inner work and training. Where will the average doctor/healer access this type of training? This is not merely pain or symptom relief care; you are literally removing the sword from the stone. Which of your college instructors would you call if your kid, spouse, or sibling were in trouble? Probably there isn’t one. DCME care is a rare and unique service in the world of ordinary. It’s also connected to LHNC and assisting America’s Original People who have been persecuted for hundreds of years.
