Miyagi Training Is On November 8th
After being born, we have a natural desire to move, crawl, walk, and explore the world. As toddlers, we begin to acquire these abilities and take great pride in them. Then we are exposed to the world of competitive fill-in-the-blank. How do we measure up against others? Our ego shifts into high gear: we run, play video games, hit a ball, engage in academics, music, dance, and more. The question of how we compare to others looms large. It consumes some (constant continual improvement) and is discarded by the majority. A new game (choice) enters our world: doing just enough to get by, the minimalist. They have a common theme or behavior that will shock many. They are tethered to their computers. It gives them a de facto feeling of certainty. They kneel at the altar of other people, their opinions, expectations, and lifestyles. Most have learned to survive through parasitic/co-dependent relationships that pay for this lifestyle. They do just enough to get a college degree and get married, and just enough not to get divorced. A minimalist doctor does just enough to pay their overhead, student loans, bills, just enough to be somewhat in shape, etc. My intent in writing this is not to agitate or change the minds of the minimalists. You know who you are, and you may think others are unaware of your survival tactics, but you are mistaken. Without this inner fire or inner reward cascade, others tend not to trust you. They can’t count on you. You don’t notice this because of your self-importance. It can be subtle or overt. It is echoed in all areas of your life. As I have said on many occasions, training is the only insulation against allowing the minimalist to creep into your life. See you on the 8th. Discounted tickets are available until October 29th.
Christmas on the Reservation
I will be speaking with Kenny this week about the logistics of this year’s distribution of gifts to underprivileged children on the Reservation. I have a suspicion that we will be doing several events. This is a time that many look forward to all year long; I know I do. It creates an atmosphere of gratitude and joy that is rarely found in the ordinary world. Fundraising should be underway ASAP. If you have any questions regarding this, please reach out to Dr. Julie, the head elf who works all year round to ensure this operates as smoothly as possible. Remember, Christmas on the Reservation is done under third-world conditions of resistance, poverty, lack of understanding, and apathy.
From the Mind of Miyagi
Guardian angels, mentors, people in your corner: Someone once asked me on a podcast what the most important ingredient is in constant, continual improvement in one’s life? Unequivocally, I blurted out, INSIGHT! Having a person in your corner at all times to inform and warn you,” DON'T DO IT, is a luxury that almost everyone you know doesn’t have. When you were a kid, it was incredible to have a mother and father. Then it was no longer cool to listen, and you began to rely on peers and the unreliable internet as sources of your insight. If you get a disease, the first thing you do is look it up on the most unreliable source of insight. The internet is laced with propaganda, resonates below truth, has censorship and limitations, and states what is known in the world of appearance. What you really get is gossip, politically charged agendas, and disease and fear promotion all wrapped up in an attractive, economically luring package. The message is clear: if it makes money, you will find it in some form of social media.
On top of not having insight, we insist on ‘helpe self’, the words my oldest daughter used when she learned to walk up the stairs as she pushed my hand away from helping her. We make a fatal flaw of trusting our thinking as real, true, and accurate. It is anything but. We share the same ancestral flaw of not being able to discern truth from non-truth that non-computer, non-science people have. As a result, we turn to consensus, affiliations, news (propaganda indoctrination), churches, and politics to do our thinking for us and to tell us what to do. If you have been in TNR long enough, you know I won’t tell you what to do, but I will enlighten you to the consequences of your choices. The effect of this is personal transformation.
Say a woman finds out she is pregnant and does not want to be. “Dr. Kevin, what should I do?” As this decision impacts life and its preservation, I refrain from telling the person what to do. Instead, I present the two choices and the consequences (long-term and short-term) of these choices. I also want to add that I will support whatever choice she makes 100% without judgment or chiming in, regardless of the world's appearance. Amateur, adolescent, or low-resonating individuals often want to supposedly solve your problems with well-intentioned, but potentially lethal/criminal advice.
A Miracle Training graduate is getting a late start in the art of becoming a man. Through nobody’s fault, he fell into the dark night of the soul/despair for the first couple of decades of his life. He is on a mission to follow his newfound path. Somehow, he is in touch with this ancestral path. He is currently in the process of buying a truck. I was not going to do it for him or tell him how to do it, etc. He needs to accept responsibility as well as the consequences. His livelihood is his truck. No truck, no work. I told him that our auto body/mechanic would look at the truck and give him an opinion. He brought a truck in, and they said, “Don’t do it.” If only we had had this type of insight when we were growing up. Or how about now with relationship issues, dire consequences, parenting issues, financial, DCME, being the best you can be, etc.? Even though someone in the know has said, 'Don’t do it,' he still (like all of us) can do it anyway. It’s called free will, and even the creator can’t remove this from you. There are consequences for all decisions and non-decisions.

Physical vs. Social Survival. What’s the difference, and what’s the big deal about each of them? Living in a modern, technologically-based society today, there will be no saber-toothed tigers hunting you down anytime soon. Your physical survival is rarely challenged. The most attention, life force, emotions, perceptions, and behaviors are all in alignment with your social survival. It’s a way of keeping your false self, your mask, and your adaptations that make up what people think is the real you: parenting, religion, politics, ethnic traditions, societal expectations, values, being taken care of, etc. Remember the concentric circles diagram?
Fear of public speaking makes you feel like you're going to die, but you will not. Your social survival, identity, and false self will hold you emotionally hostage and make you feel like you are. Its tools include internal dialogue, emotions, feelings, nostalgia, behaviors, and thoughts. They are all done invisibly, and you don’t have a clue that you’re being played. Like a puppet on invisible strings, outside things, events, people, and circumstances appear to be happening to you. Your mind is actually creating a movie that you unconsciously follow with no ability to discern the truth.
Pain, suffering, and disease get top billing in the world of disease. You can travel to any city in the US or Canada and announce on social media that you have a particular disease, and you will be invited to attend a meeting based on having that disease. Misery loves company. Wouldn’t you instead be united in health? Of course not; it’s illogical, irrelevant, and nonsensical to social survival. Health is a disease in the land of disease. Why? The invisible world of social survival. Pain, suffering, and disease are a way of milking attention, being special (think covid, colored ribbons,), and receiving sympathy and concern from family, friends, and even strangers. How many people have you held space for that when it came down to it, would choose death rather than moving towards truth or what is possible(healing)?
You can’t pull a person out of self-imposed suffering. They won’t let you. The improvement is apparent to everyone but them. It becomes a lifelong lifestyle. Don’t take it personally; it’s part and parcel of dealing with deep, dark levels of sickness and disease. You will never know what’s inside people until you see that person in a life-or-death situation. Most will let go of the rope. My life is dedicated to those who will hold fast to the rope.
DCME Confidential
Question 1: My DCME is making slow, but steady progress. I quoted a six-month program, but they appear to need more. How do I handle this?
Answer: If you have established a great relationship, they will want to do more. If you haven’t, they will do the single serving and discontinue, and probably be disappointed with the results. Forecasting or estimating for DCME is much more challenging than recommendations for Level 1 back or neck pain. It takes time and experience to be spot on.
Question 2: I have an anorexic DCME, and she is getting worse. Should I recommend a high-calorie protein shake?
Answer: If you do, you will add your name to all the others who couldn’t help her. The problem is not physical. Its foundation is in the emotional/mental/spiritual realm.
