The Vision Of TNR

At this time of thanksgiving, I personally wanted to thank each and every one of you for trusting in my vision of ‘healthier people=healthier planet’ and making it a practical reality in your office and beyond.  TNR goes way beyond individual practice success; you belong to a group that is much bigger than that.  It feels like coming home and discovering your true potential.  It brings out the potential in you to create happiness and joy in your life.  Many DCs outside this group insist on putting a business model on top of a sacred profession, without working on the inner self.  To do this, one must invoke anything that creates income, from laser beams or bra-fitting, to non-surgical face lifts.  When this happens, something is lost within each of us.  Whether you call it purpose, passion or mojo, losing it marks the beginning of the end.  It’s a loss that inevitably finds its way into your marriage, your parenting and your overall enjoyment of life.  Like a pampered, professional athlete, to some it’s all about individual stats, agents and personal income.  In TNR, the individual wins because the team wins.  Individual success is an effect, not a cause. The reason our great profession does not enjoy the status it deserves comes down to the orientation of individual DCs.  We want to stay isolated, not united.  Competitive, not cooperative.  The Dalai Lama points to this lack of inter-connectedness as a fundamental flaw for world peace.

In our lives, it’s sometimes very easy to get casual with any relationship (marital, kids, hobbies, friends) and thankfully we have seen a marked shift toward increased participation in TNR. Our quarterly seminars are really giving people the inspiration, sense of community, ‘meat and potatoes’ theories and vision to carry yourself beyond merely individual success. Miyagi, DCME, Beyond Branding H2Hs, and even the just added SuperAcademy, now receive more attention than ever before. MM has ignited a whole flurry of activity and  profound sense of community. The last session saw the dawn of a new era and prosperity for all members of TNR. Baseline assessments will revolutionize all offices that have the courage and vision to do them. Members are already reporting breakthroughs in their practices with baseline assessments! Even LHNC is finding itself front and center in more and more offices. For those involved with the foundation, the new suicide statistics (no youth incident in 20+ months) are a dream come true: a vision that the non-believers outside of our group said couldn’t be done.  Going to the jail and adjusting the incarcerated has added yet another dimension of relief, during our journeys to the reservation.

As we sit around our Thanksgiving tables this week, remember to pause and give thanks for being in such a great group, that puts the greater good before self-gain. We’re a group that has the power to hold each of its members to higher standards and we have so much to be thankful for. Finally, let’s give thanks to all of our past members as well.

Bid On The Artifacts

The four Native American artifacts that were donated by Kenny Smoker are still unclaimed on our auction site. He doesn’t make these items available very often, so don’t miss out!  These artifacts will make very special gifts for the very special people on your Christmas list. Remember, all proceeds go to the maintenance, upkeep and taxes on the movie theater. If you can’t purchase them, please share them with your contacts; you never know who might be interested! Let’s get these bought this week.  Thank you!

Christmas on the Reservation News

We are down to the final 2 weeks of our toy and donation drive.  Let your practice members know all gifts must be on the UPS truck by Dec. 5.  Many offices are also donating money that will be put towards food donations.  For those who are making the trip, plan on arriving Wednesday, Dec. 14 and returning on Saturday, Dec. 17.  Thursday and Friday will give us two full days on the reservation, with activities that include giving gifts out, handing food out, adjusting the inmates and presenting them with Dr. Guy’s book Make Your Life Extraordinary, as well as adjusting children and adults at basketball games both nights.
