Dr. Kevin in Little Rock, AR

This upcoming weekend Dr. Kevin will be presenting the Nuts and Bolts of a Successful Practice in Little Rock. It has been awhile since TNR has been in AR, but the state has produced many great TNR members over the years, including Dr. Megan Cartillar (our DC on the reservation), who will be in attendance! If you have any colleagues or friends in the area be sure to send them there!

Dr. Christy and Dr. Cliff hosted their Grand Opening

What an amazing office and an exciting weekend! All kinds of people from all walks of life were there, and the buzz was all positive. Is there anything more exciting than seeing a TNR practice launch? Dr. Teri Dunton (VA) who heads the ‘meet and greet’ committee for new TNR practices, along with Dr. Lizzie Snow (FLA) and Drs. Megan and Derek Pinkham (ME) all made the trip to Medway, MA to be there. Having all the support and love of TNR there really makes a difference!

Practice tip of the week!

Speaking outside of the office can be a difficult and scary thing. It’s so natural to become absorbed in all the things that go on, from the office, family activities and more. But you can’t neglect your efforts to speak outside your office. It’s a habit you don’t necessarily think you need, but to build your practice, you have to meet strangers. Once we get to a certain level, like 250 pv a week or 400 pv a week, we become comfortable and are less willing to do things that challenge us. Being comfortable with the uncomfortable is one of the attractions of TNR.  If you want to really exponentially explode from where you’re at, you’re going to have to put some more ‘wood’ on the fire. Don’t just do one speaking engagement, book as many as you can and be consistent.  Get in the habit of doing what others won’t!

Prosperity on the rise!

We’ve been hearing so much great news from members experiencing personal bests, from paying off start up loans and credit card debt, to record new patients, kids and collections (many with very little insurance coverage). On the other hand, many members are also reporting that many of their DC friends are experiencing exactly the opposite. Don’t be embarrassed by your success or feel guilty about it. You earned it and continue to earn it. Standing for something and having a focus on patient care separates you from the masses. Remember that TNR members are humanitarian to the core and go to great lengths to exceed PM expectations. Isolation is the insistence of going it alone and thinking that with time you’re going to figure it out, just like with smoking, drinking or any other unwanted habit or behavior.  By flying in formation a higher collective consciousness is formed and you will find power in the pack!  Success is the rule, not the exception for the once in a lifetime or the Navy Seal type DC.  Encourage others to get in on the fun of TNR!

Love Has No Color news

Did you know that there hasn’t been a youth suicide on the reservation in 26 months!  Kenny Smoker was very happy to report the great news just last week.  As we are aware, it’s not just LHNC, its everyone on and off the reservation that are making it their business to bring health, hope and dignity to the kids.  Every member helps us help the kids. Get excited about being part of the solution and not part of the problem.  Did you know that outside of TNR, a glaring weakness in many DCs’ offices is a lack of being part of a bigger picture or a global movement that helps others less fortunate.  It’s true!  The rules of the game have changed.  Millennials and Gen X patients will only do business with individuals who are involved in socially active causes.  Let all your PMs know about the great news!

Drs. Helena and Brent Beacom host Bowling Event for LHNC

The Beacoms hosted their annual bowling event to raise money for LHNC.  Dr. Brent apparently has been practicing (does he have a PM that is on the PBA tour?) because there is video evidence of him throwing a strike! The event looks like it was lots of fun and it shows that their whole practice rallies behind the social cause of LHNC.  When you think about it, aren’t Native Americans the first social cause in this country?
