Your Weekly TNR Pulse

Arkansas loves Chiropractic!

I walked into a room not knowing a single person, except our full time LHNC DC, Dr. Megan, and by the end of the weekend I was family. They were a great bunch of DCs that made me feel so welcome. Successful DC after successful DC mentioned what a transformation happened as a result of ‘Renassiance’ being in their lives. The challenges DCs face across the country are all the same. Sure, some of the more established rank and file wish to provide low pva, adult musculoskeletal pain relief only or want to prescribe drugs. But many others prefer to serve all segments…they just don’t know how! If you notice a few new faces with thick Arkansas accents at TNR events and on the Reservation, you’ll know where they came from.

Miyagi is almost here!

Miyagi is not a technique or a physical adjustment. It’s a resonation, an orientation to life that imbues everything you do. Friday evening you will hear a concept you will remember for the rest of your life! In your office, the Miyagi vibe is about high quality new patient attraction, retention, seeing kids, 3,5,10 fold the income of average DCs, knowing what to do with complaining practice members, wellness, DCME’s, etc. It’s about standing for something with conviction no matter what anyone else thinks and serving humanity with no excuses or stories about insurance coverage, IRS, billing software, compliance issues, people in your town, etc. In your marriage you will start to understand and correct your own faults instead of insisting that your spouse clean up their act. With your kids, are you going to coddle and fix things for them, or are you going to let them develop their own Miyagi vibe and share their gifts with the world. In finances, you start to understand that the world supports disease and only has value for disease providers. You will start a new paradigm of health and prosperity in your community and not live off the crumbs that the disease model offers you to be a good little boy or girl. This is a closed door event with only active coaching members of TNR.

Practice tip of the week:

Are you forgetting to hand something out to your practice members? I have noticed members are not putting an emphasis on pamphlets. When you take the time to personally hand a pamphlet to your patient, you open a door that goes way beyond the clinical only. You begin to be a partner with your practice members, helping them achieve their goals, regardless of what they are. Pamphlets signal there’s more to Chiropractic than simply pain relief. Wellness oriented Category 1’s will read every word and will maybe pass it on to a friend. They will comment on the pamphlet at their next visit. Category 2’s will skim them and throw them away. You shouldn’t have Category 3’s in your office as they will derisively smirk at any attempts at patient education as sales. Your intent is revealed with each and every person you welcome into your practice: a business transaction only or in service to humanity and being ultra-successful. If a human life is indeed sacred, don’t skimp on your patient education.

August 9,10,11,12 Boot Camp on the Reservation!

This is quickly shaping up to be our most ambitious undertaking ever! The first two days are the regular Kids’ Days in Wolf Point and Poplar. We will be adjusting over 1,000 kids and adults and visiting the jail again. After the cleanup with the Kids’ Days, we will form ‘commando’ groups that will do outdoor yard cleanups and yard mowing like last year, along with cleaning the homes and apartments of some of the elders. On Friday and Saturday we will be putting on a Summer Camp for the kids. These will go on all day long. We will be having pod after pod of activities and learning for the kids. Every 45 minutes or so an air horn will sound and the kids will move to the next pod. You can do any activity or concept you choose to do. We will be fixing up houses for a few people. Those who made it to Christmas on the Reservation may remember Rose, the woman who took in 14 homeless boys. We are going to do as much ‘fixing up’ to her house as we can. Yes, we will be having lots of rock n roll concerts, including the famous jail concert. We hope to at least double our order of high quality, non-perishable food we provided last year. We encourage everybody to make a week of it, but you can stay as long as you choose. There will be plenty of work to be done in case you have friends or colleagues who want to be a part of the action.
