Your Weekly TNR Pulse!

LHNC Fundraiser starts today!

Here we go again!  Here is what we have planned: building an outdoor street hockey rink, putting a new roof on the Chiropractic Clinic/movie theater, doing home repairs, distributing tons of high quality, non-perishable food and backpacks loaded with school supplies, and purchasing special sneakers for the kids. Please note, this list can change so stay tuned for updates. Collecting $150,000 is the goal and we hope to smash this goal with everybody’s help. It really helps to start your fundraising immediately instead of waiting. Record numbers of new patients as well as referrals and DCMEs are expected this year. Most of the supplies must be ordered in advance, so the sooner we collect the money, the better. Please let your PMs take this to the next level: ask them to share the fundraiser with their social media contacts, friends, and family. The end date is July 31st.
I would like each member to contribute a guest blog to savethereservation.org; email it to TNR and we will put it on the LHNC website. I would also like to do some interviews to share on an upcoming LHNC podcast. Sharing this with your PMs will also increase participation.

The tribe meets in Atlanta May 19th and 20th

MasterMind will feature one of the premier features of TNR, THE PACKAGE:  the ability to offer critically ill, at risk or otherwise extremely urgent people the opportunity to get their lives back through Chiropractic.  So few in our profession dare tread these waters.  It's almost unheard of in our society.  Many other ‘outside the box’ concepts will also be presented to maximize your economics without putting profit over people.  There's a big difference between a humanitarian model and a business model!  Participants at the last Miyagi are nodding their heads.  Sacrifice, poverty, and struggle are concepts that are burned at the stake at MasterMind.  Don’t miss this event!  The quarterly will feature an overview of the UPDATED TNR PROCEDURES including layers of accumulated injuries (spinal onion), Baseline Assessments, recommendations that make sense to Millennials, how to not attack the existing beliefs of Millennials so they accept recommendations, and the critical importance of having social cause in all of your online and offline communication.

Dr. Kevin will be in Virginia on Friday

Dr. Kevin will be speaking at the Unified VCA Spring 2017 Convention on Friday afternoon from 2:00 to 6:00. The presentation will be "The 'Nuts and Bolts' of How to Create a Successful Office - ANYWHERE!" Please let all of your friends in Virginia know so they can get in on the action!!!

Practice tip of the week

Let practice members know about Love Has No Color!!!  When PMs enter your office, the resounding question they have inside their heads is, 'does this person really care for me or is this just a professional gig?'  If you are at all familiar with what’s trending with Millennials, it's SOCIAL CAUSE!  They love connection that involves helping others less fortunate.  Put it online, in your IPRFs, blogs, and everything you’ve got. When they understand that by getting their families healthy at your office, they are helping kids on a reservation and beyond get healthy, they’re all in.
Humanity, kindness and compassion never go out of style.  Dr. Wade Port of Marrietta, GA took a PM for a walk - she had not been able to walk in 12 years.  It wasn't her MD, DDS, or her lawyer that took her for the walk. It was her once-in-a-lifetime DC!  Do you think she believes her DC is average and regular?  GUESS AGAIN!

An example of what will happen when a portion of every NP or DCME case is donated to LHNC: An 11 year old depressed, shut down kid receives a hand signed card from LHNC thanking him for getting healthy at X,Y,Z Chiropractic office and he is also told that the money donated to LHNC in his name  is helping kids living in third-world conditions on a reservation in Montana.  His parents are completely blown away by this gesture of kindness.  They see a marked difference in their kid, just by being a part of something bigger than himself.  Humanitarianism is one of the highest qualities Millennials are attempting to teach their kids.

If you were known for this in your community, can’t you see how you would be in a category of one?  Real connection, getting healthy, and helping kids thousands of miles away: it differentiates you from any other garden variety DC.

Just a thought from Miyagi

What if a tribe is being formed that will completely transform the way Chiropractic is delivered to society?  Welcome to TNR.  What would it look like?  Will we be practicing the way we always have?  Who would it be made up of?  State board members, insurance people, MD’s, EHR, research people, people who maintain the status quo and do what they are told? Or a group of doctors (and others) who will set new standards for health, humanity and the preservation of it and have the grit to put up with overwhelming odds?

Such a group would have huge numbers right?  WRONG!  What separates people is their orientation for life…self-gain and competitive or highest-gain, cooperative and interconnected.  The commitment level it takes to stand apart from the majority is rare indeed.  It makes people memorable and once in a lifetime.  It would be roughly the square root of 1% of the profession.  These were the same numbers  as with the American Revolution, Martin Luther King, Jr. movement, Ghandi followers, Nelson Mandela followers, etc.  There is a hunger or spirit that has all but evaporated in Chiropractic that is being filled by TNR.  Its void is as large and widespread as new practitioners having to practice socially accepted Chiropractic in order to be accepted; eke out a living and having DCs prescribe the second leading cause of preventable death (prescription drugs) in the US.

Whenever you see the public perception of Chiropractic dwindling and the average income of a DC plummeting, you do not want to keep going in that direction.  It's not sustainable and the profession will be cannibalized by the socially dominant belief of our time…outside in authority, science and the use of FORCE at the cost of human life and suffering.  Enjoy the ride of TNR and refer in members who have what it takes to reach a society addicted to disease.  TNR will not appeal to everybody, just the square root of 1%.  Who do you know that belongs in TNR?
