TNR Happenings July 31, 2017

The Pulse of TNR!
Countdown to Boot Camp!
We will keep you posted on all the last minute details for our 2017 Boot Camp. You will receive a phone tree list within the next few days so you can be in communication with all attendees. Make sure of your transportation plans. If you need to get a car rental, do it this week, don’t wait until you get there. The Homestead Inn is in Wolf Point and their phone number is 406-653-1300. If you need any last minute supplies for your activity, please contact TNR headquarters today. We will get the supplies at Walmart. Depending upon your pod, you will need to wear casual clothes that you can be active in, sweat in and get dirty in! Natural sunscreen is helpful.
Coaching calls for next week
If you coach on Monday, your calls will be as scheduled. If you coach on Tuesday, you can call in on Monday for a call or simply wait until the following week. Call TNR this week if you would like to reschedule your coaching call for Monday for next week.
Its so nice to be a part of TNR!
I did a Nuts and Bolts seminar for DCs in VA! It was similar to an intro seminar that I do for our TNR offices. Sometimes we can take for granted what a privilege and honor it is to be a part of a group who make Navy Seal type commitments to their practice members. It’s not that way throughout the profession. VA is not an exception to the rule. So many young DCs have lost their path and have given up the freedom to practice the way they choose. In attendance were associate and solo practitioners who are in practices that just don’t create value and meaning in their lives.
All reading this are familiar with Baseline Assessments for children, how about BAs for DCs? Take a look at this link of a very real DC who, with a little guidance and flying in formation, will become a superstar. This profile happens so often in TNR. Practice tip of the week
Break free of the expectations of others permanently. In the world of disease, practitioners who stand for health are going to be ostracized. Disease gets the headlines and sympathy, even if all the symptomatic relief in the world will not change the paradigm of disease to health. Communicate about what your office is all about in every one of your office procedures, HAS, videos, and on social media, etc.
Blending in with other area DCs is the kiss of death in results (PVA of 8?), humanitarianism, and economics. When you allow people to wander in with low levels of commitment or understanding, they will feel very uncomfortable and they will attempt to resist or attack you via in office theatrics or keyboard courage (Angie reviews and less than 5 star social media reviews.)
You will not be able to help people with low levels of commitment, no matter how much you want to. A trainer once said that you can’t lose the weight for them. When you clearly communicate BEFORE they come into your office, they have an opportunity to opt out because of the commitment level. If you force low commitment people into your office, it will create frustration for you and your staff and it’s completely avoidable.
