The Pulse of TNR!

November 30th Intro Seminar in Charlotte, NC

Dr. Kevin will be putting on a specialized Intro Seminar from 9-noon on November 30th.  The event will be hosting 10 participants max. Prior to the seminar, they will fill out a questionnaire (Chiropractic Baseline Assessment) regarding their practices and he will then construct the content of the seminar around their answers! Never before has there been such a direct problem-solution event. Their names will, of course, be kept anonymous but their profiles will be the nuts and bolts of the workshop notebook. The workbook will be like a football playbook, holding within it the TNR solutions to all of their problems. This event is specifically for introducing new members to TNR.

Tell your southern DC brothers and sisters to contact us to register and fill out the Baseline Assessment.

Christmas on the Reservation is on!

Gifts, gifts, gifts. Get an early start. This year’s theme is getting your children and children in your office to reach out and get other kids involved and in on the fun. Instead of just talking to our children about being a humanitarian, why not demonstrate (actions) to them and GET THEM INVOLVED!?

Imagine all the good that can be done if each kid reaches out to 5 other kids and gets them involved. Watching a video go viral is nice, being a part of giving the kids on the reservation a once-in-a-lifetime experience is priceless. Experiential and getting involved is the best teacher. Get your whole community involved: businesses, churches, Girl/Boy Scouts, social and civic groups, etc. All year these kids wait for this moment. This is our 12th year so let it be our best effort.

Love Has No Color Christmas ornaments

This Christmas season the limited edition ornament will be a feather ornament similar to last year's buffalo ornament.

They will be priced at $15. This price includes shipping to the continental US. There will be a limited number of ornaments made so order yours before they sell out! The ornaments make incredible gifts for grab bags and secret pals. They are perfect for hanging in your car, garage, man-cave, music room, office, home, etc. Some offices are rewarding PMs with an ornament for referrals. This is a must for supporters of LHNC.

A little about the artist

It’s none other than Peggy Sue (Strang) Crites of Camden, MI. Any t-shirt, sweatshirt, hat, or bandana you’ve ever purchased or received from TNR, she is the one behind it. She, along with her sister, Dr. Julie, get the color and designs just right. She is very talented. From making wedding cakes (Dr. Christy Taylor's and Dr. Randi Jo Steiner's are beautiful examples), wedding dresses, clothes, jewelry, etc., she can do it all. Please note: these are HAND DONE, with no stamp, laser, or inlay. She cuts the pieces of wood, sands each piece, wood burns the design onto each wood piece, applies oil, and drills the hole for the jute string ties - all done by hand! They are really something! There are other ways to mass produce ornaments quicker, but each of these are unique and a true treasure! 100% of our net profits goes to Love Has No Color. There is a rumor that there will also be a few sets of earrings with matching necklaces for sale.

Practice tip of the week

Expectations vs experience…know the difference. How long are you going to allow people to come into your office telling you what to do? Unless you understand the difference between expectations and experience, you will fall prey to this. If you don’t work on their expectations before they come into your office (experience), it’s too late. The experience in a DC's office is great, but it’s not the experience that changes the outcome…it’s the expectations. When a person comes into your office expecting a few 'cracks’, believe it or not, it’s because they didn’t know what your office was all about. The same thing is true with people thinking their ‘disease insurance’ will cover all their expenses. Once they are in your office, it’s too late to let them know what’s expected of them. You can’t be all things to all people. For starters, have the TNR/Life videos emailed to them. Then email a welcome letter or a TNR bio. You could email "What Makes This Office Unique" and a brief respectful note on the limitations of insurance. This sure beats having person after person come into your office, only to drop out after a few visits. Look on the Members Only part of our website for a video on this subject.

Play no part in smallness

When a PM or anyone else asks you to have a part in playing small…decline. With so much of our culture telling you what is valuable and what is not, don’t believe it. Helping people regain their health or express their health is valuable in any society. Whether a government or insurance coverage thinks this is so is irrelevant. The artist sets the fee for the painting, not a government agency or beaurocrat. It’s so easy to go along with the flow of smallness until you awaken to realize how valuable your health is. Remember: In the land of disease, health is a disease (taken from the October 2017 Miyagi workbook.)
