The pulse of TNR!
Last week for the Christmas on the Reservation Gift Drive!
OMG, does time fly by! Don't miss the deadline. Your gifts need to be on the UPS truck by Monday, December 4th to ensure they get to the kids on time. Remember, teachers and volunteers must match all the gifts with all the kids on the reservation. Some offices got a late start and that’s okay, send what you have. A trend we’ve observed over the last few years is that many are utilizing our CrowdRise page for donations. Some tech-savvy offices have even set up laptop or IPad stations where PMs can donate while in their offices. Some people just don’t like shopping while others just love being in the madhouse with the traffic, sales, and experiential shopping.
***If you are planning on traveling to the reservation for Dec14th and 15th to be a LHNC Santa's Elf, please let headquarters know.
Be sure to keep up with all the fun and pictures, along with the LHNC blogs, on savethereservation.org.
Dr. Kevin will be in Charlotte, NC on Thursday
Dr. Kevin will be hosting an Intro Seminar at the Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel from 9:00 a.m. until noon on Thursday, November 30th. This is a brand new seminar that focuses on the participants' specific problems. Then Dr. Kevin works out the solutions right before their eyes using TNR procedures and concepts. Think about how you were before you discovered TNR. Isolation, pride, and stubbornness are the evils that keep DCs stuck where they are. This is the best way for DCs to see if TNR is what they are looking for. If you have any DCs you want to see in TNR, this is the seminar for them. It costs only $199 per seat and has a full money back guarantee.
Temporary TNR office dog - does your office have an office dog?
Shady Steiner has been helping out at TNR headquarters for the last week while Drs. Randi Jo and Marc have been in South Carolina. The doctors will be back tomorrow and Shady will return to Exeter, NH to resume his job at Steiner Family Chiropractic.

Practice tip of the week!
Upgrade your internet presence! No, don’t get pulled into paying people for SEO, pay per clicks, and the marketing secrets of the Kardashians. Do what you know you can do right now. Just upgrade your web page, blogging, and what makes you different, etc. Some people will make their initial decision to set up an appointment at your office based on what they read with online reviews and testimonials, etc. Remember that Millennials consider online reviews or online testimonials on par with a personal review. TNR members Drs. Christy and Cliff Taylor reported that a high-level autistic teenager, as well as a troubled kid with severe anxiety and depression, looked them up on the web and made their own decisions about wanting to seek care in their office; and the parents brought them in. When they asked who should we thank for referring you in, the kids said, "your website." Hmmm, welcome to the digital age. Does your website show: that you are dog-friendly? That you are humanitarian? That you provide kindness to all people? That you recognize people who have fallen thru the proverbial cracks?
Keep your focus on PM care!
Some of our newer offices joining TNR report that as much as 40% of their time is spent on administration, paperwork, insurance billing, and chasing after their money. It’s the theme of the offices. As this trend seems to have no end in sight, at some point, you will need to ask yourself this question: is it worth it? If 40% of your intent is spent (wasted) on seemingly minutia (I get you need to be paid), your clinical results and your MOJO are at risk, big time. Think about 2018 being a time of shifting towards less insurance dependency. Do not stop cold turkey, but gradually edge out organizations that colonize you as well as reward you for colonizing others. Ask yourself how can we participate with organizations that don’t believe in our services for kids or with wellness care?
Two day Super Academy on Jan 20th & 21st
With so many digital and offline upgrades, you can’t afford to miss this two-day experience. Relying on the adjustment to create an understanding about Chiropractic and continuing to perform outdated, cookie-cutter procedures that don’t change the paradigm from disease to health with every PM just won't cut it. Almost all growth in Chiropractic is focused on new patient acquisition, but what about when they get to your office? Our retention rates tell the story! With a PVA of less than eight on a national level, there can be no debate about the need of upgrading our clinical procedures and patient education. The conversion from condition-based care to corrective or wellness care is equally flawed. Since noncondition-based care is completely independent of insurance, most DCs will again see the rubber meet the road. Just some of the upgrades to be discussed include: TNR/Life U videos, a personal video, welcome card in the mail, welcome email, concentric circles (pebbles in the pond to demonstrate chronicity, once and for all!), Baseline Assessments, Miracle Book, Parent’s Guide to Raising Healthy and Purposeful Children, and the 21 Day DCME Program.
