The Pulse of TNR!
Are you more than just a pain doctor?
The average DC works an outdated pain relief model.
When you are working this outdated model, no matter how fast you relieve pain, no loyalty or change in the paradigm of health is achieved. You probably won't be in your practice members' inner circle. You won't be relevant and you'll be relegated to a commodity to be replaced ASAP.
Translation: patients will have a low commitment level and they won't take their health too seriously; in addition, they are insurance driven which ensures short-term (8 PVA national average) stays in the majority of offices.

With the upgraded model, you will be a prized member of their family. You will also practice the way you choose to, with complete freedom. You will be a symbol of hope that won't waver with difficult cases or the enormity of inspiring people to do something that is quite unnatural to them…wellness or ongoing care. Almost like losing weight vs. keeping the weight off (wellness) in fitness, symptom relief (losing weight) always gets top billing with the uninformed (ignorant) majority.
Is this the kind of letter commonplace in your office? For the majority of TNR members, they will be.
Christmas on the Reservation update:
This year’s theme is getting kids to get other kids involved. Yes, we still need lots of adult help also! Kids will do things with such a purity and an innocence. They do it for no other reason than to help other children. We have some offices that are already on the move and then some. Businesses, religious groups, schools, wealthy individuals, micro-donations, they all help.
Have flyers up around your office; have an online presence as well. Drs. Randi Jo and Marc Steiner of Steiner Family Chiropractic in Exeter, NH just donated $400 ($50 from the last 8 new patients), Dr. Teri has raised over $4,000 on Crowdrise, and lots of other offices just getting going. If you’re thinking of making the December trek to the reservation, remember, there is indeed something spiritual about Christmas on the Reservation.
Practice tip of the week:
With everything you do, CONNECT! Your office, parenting, marriage, new patients, interactions of all types…connect beyond what’s in front of you. We are all connected. Look beyond just the person on the adjustment table. Life is a checklist or to-do list with analytical thought patterns - don't let this control your life. Don't just check things off of your list and move on: have a bigger vision of CONNECTION and you will have a shared interest with all people.
Give people an opportunity to help you as you help them.
Don’t look small at any interaction. Every interaction is a template for something even grander. New member, Dr. Alice, has been going door to door and business to business to meet people in her area before opening her office next month. She went to a dance academy and they want her to speak to the parents. When she meets a person who doesn’t want to make an appointment, she asks, "do you know anyone that needs an appointment?" Ask your VIP practice members to accompany you to Christmas on the Reservation.

For those of you who attended the epic Miyagi, do you remember the incredible story that Isaac, the owner of the rock climbing gym, told us? We didn't just hire him for the Friday mystery activity for our group, we're taking the relationship further. I just had breakfast with him to discuss raising gifts for Christmas on the Reservation. He will be putting our gift raising information on his website and emailing it to his 12k-person email list. He will be going to Drs. Christy and Cliff Taylor’s office for care, and I will be using his gym for private clients. Win/win/win/win! Look beyond the person on the table, allow the connections to happen!
Looking for help with North Carolina and Tennessee Intro Seminars:
Dr. Craig has been doing his part to get guests to the upcoming November 30th Intro Seminar in Charlotte, NC. He has spoken to a female DC and has sent out a letter to DCs in the area about his journey thus far in TNR.
If you have any brother or sister DCs in Charlotte or Nashville, please have them call or get in touch with TNR. There aren't that many of these opportunities to experience TNR!

Nashville, TN: Intro Seminar, December 7th 9:00a - Noon
Female Webinar on November 28th at 7:00 p.m. EST
How many times have you spoken to a female DC about TNR and they just don’t take action or they say they like having a modest practice. Here is a very low commitment way of introducing female DCs to the world of TNR.
Any questions about this, ask Samantha, as this is her baby. We have specially designed software/spyware so that if a male DC watches this webinar, it will burn his retinas, similar to the eclipse. Ha, ha!
