TNR Happenings August 12, 2019

august 12

The trip to the Reservation was EPIC!

A Fun Bus with 22 people came from Manitoba and a vehicle with 7 people came from British Columbia which included 2 from Hong Kong. We put on two incredible Fun Days, one in Wolf Point and one in Poplar. We had a wonderful visit to the Poplar jail and had a prison concert. We delivered food door-to-door (sometimes through an open window!) The faces of the kids and their excitement were something we will never forget. The hot dogs were great this year. The band must have been practicing because they actually sounded tight! Our builders were building fences for the horses in the Equine Therapy Program. 62 people were putting principles before personalities. We had dinner at Doc Holliday’s. We had an amazing dessert that was devoured by 14 people.  Our Love Has No Color tee shirts were blue. Kenny Smoker spoke to us in the movie theater. The souvenir buying opportunity was a feeding frenzy. Raymond White Feather bestowed a tribal treasure to TNR. Dr. Megan kicked down a door because it didn’t open! The bouncy houses were a hit. Everyone cooperated with everyone. The rug rats fitting in with TNR. Someone at the prison saying, "That’s not a real tattoo." There were dogs everywhere. Someone being told, "You can’t get any running water here, it’s not my problem"; yet this member figured out how to get running water. It just keeps getting better and better each year!

I’ve never been more proud of our group. The energy, the continual problem solving, and the kindness shown to children and adults alike was phenomenal. It’s all about helping people living in third world conditions with love and compassion. For just a few days, the third world conditions ceased to exist. The smiles on the kid’s faces said it all! They mattered and they still matter. Few people indeed participate in such heartwarming endeavors that produce results. Others merely talk about problems, we do something about it. Thank you to all the hundreds of people who participated, donated, planned, supervised, or otherwise helped make this year's Boot Camp Fun Days the best ever!

Practice tip of the week

Narrow your identity in your office. Think of the Sweet Spot. Stop attempting to be all things to all people. Not only is it impossible, but it’s also so inefficient and spirit draining. If you are indeed a family Chiropractic office, all of your procedures, pamphlets, posters, LHNC wall, and dialogue in your office will reflect this intent. They are not conditional on the person entering your office. Are you using the concept of concentric rings and the Baseline Assessment? Do you have them as dry erase posters on the wall? It’s not about kicking people out of your office, think of more like a filter. You’re not mad at others who want a quick fix; if you cater to them, it’s at the expense of people who receive ongoing care. Adult, symptomatic care is great as far as it goes but it’s not health and it turns its back on the next generation. Like an air filter on your car, it prevents large harmful particles from harming your engine. Likewise, with your dryer, there is a lint filter that prevents damage to the motor. If you feel like you are still seeing too many symptomatic adults and not enough children, speak with me. There are solutions!

MasterMind 7-Figure Academy is on September 14th

Everyone has a thermostat when it comes to money. It’s set at a certain level. It doesn’t budge unless acted upon and it’s not easy to budge it. Most people go an entire lifetime with their wealth thermostat fixed in a position that doesn’t allow them to exponentially grow. It’s very invisible and it appears to be rigid. Yet it’s very flexible if you know how to exchange your old beliefs and experiences for new beliefs and experiences that support where you want to go economically. Think of why most people eat the same food and hate other foods for their entire lives. Trying to quit smoking, drinking, or drugs is so difficult because of this principle. Even if you choose not to act on your thermostat (no chance of that!), seeing the mechanism of why people can’t lose weight or why there are no safety belts for kids on school buses will answer questions you’ve had all your life.

Everyone says they want to be wealthier and they wonder why they can’t get there. Why do people think that wealth is controlled by someone else, an institution, government, other wealthy people, lottery winners, etc? There are substitutes for abundance and wealth (hundreds upon hundreds of books written) like stocks, bonds, interest rates, house valuation, and everyone accepts them as gospel. They’re not. These are external factors, outside of your control. Internal factors will make you wealthy regardless of the current economic circumstances. Good economy, a lousy economy, good insurance coverage, bad insurance coverage, it just doesn’t matter and TNR has been quietly nurturing superstars in every location, every circumstance, etc. There are no get-rich-quick schemes so stop searching for simple solutions to complex problems. Believe it or not, society actually creates inertia to you becoming wealthy. If you want to add $100,000 this year in the humanitarian fashion (as opposed to the business model of putting people over profit), you can’t afford to miss this opportunity!!! Remember, you can receive a 10% discount off the ticket price if you purchase your ticket before August 30th.

We were getting ready to distribute food for hundreds of people in Frazer and Brocton and we had just participated in a ‘feeding frenzy’ at the Trading Post. Dr. Mark’s son, Connor, came over to me and said the guy in the trading post wants to give you something. I thought it was a spoof and when I walked with him I was wary of a water balloon ambush as I rounded the corner. I went into the store and Raymond White Feather said this: "Our tribes used this as a symbol of our strength and courage and now I want you to have this for your group. I have watched you for years continue to fight the good fight and I want you to have it." Tears welled up in my eyes (as they are now writing this) and a strange sensation came over me. It was like a passing of the torch, the changing of the guard, and the recognition of our group helping and assisting those kids. This sacred artifact will be a part of our sweat ceremonies and training sessions!

No questions this week, only thoughts and concepts.  If you’re not doing level 2 recommendations or DCMEs, you have to ask yourself why not? Is it because you know you can help people with ‘untouchable’ illness, but don’t choose to do so? Do you not want to become involved with these dirty, grimy cases that often blow up? Is it because you don’t wish to exponentially increase your income? Is it because you’re concerned about having a visit from the regulators? Or is it because you have limiting beliefs about the beauty and power of Chiropractic. Maybe it’s too much of an investment in time, energy, and money to acquire the ability to help people who have their proverbial backs against the wall.

All illnesses have a HUGE emotional component in them. We focus most of our attention on physical injuries and give lip service to chemical and emotional insult to the nerve system. With physical injuries, there is a single incident followed a predictable, progressive, degenerative process to the nerve system and spine. With emotions, it plays over and over every day, like an echo. Its damage is done via the nerve system and not through the spine. Hence there are no fingerprints (like degeneration, arthritis, aging,) seen on x-ray or imaging. The cause is invisible, but the effects are seen in personality, immune system, learning, behavior, integration of the senses, etc. The most bang for your buck is removing emotional damage as quickly as you can. Don’t take the sword out of the hands of your practice members; let them make their own decisions about care. Don’t let insurance coverage shape what you know to be true. If you are still stubbornly refusing to use the 21-Day DCME Video Program that patients use at home, it’s because this concept still escapes you. You’re continuing to attach yourself to an outdated, linear model of pain relief like you were taught in school. Quantum physics says otherwise. Get out of your comfort zone and start using 2 levels with your recommendations. Any questions about the concept or the 21-Day DCME Video Program, please speak with me.
