TNR Happenings August 20

MasterMind and TNR Seminar in MA

Fall is a beautiful time in Massachusetts. Bring a guest DC that is looking for an upgraded method of practice to becoming a once-in-a-lifetime DC to The New Renaissance Seminar. Bring a VIP staff member who needs to see the big picture to The New Renaissance Seminar. Too many CAs interpret their jobs as a series of to-do lists or activities to perform each day and don’t get inspired as to the meaning of having a TNR style office. Bring your spouse for a romantic 3-day getaway. He/she can get a massage or go shopping while you attend MasterMind! You need to constantly be training and increasing your Chiropractic beliefs since they are being worked on by societal forces to water you down. This could cause you to lose your Navy Seal trident or your TNR MOJO. There are just too many forces that demand you play small, from insurance to legislature (illegal to adjust kids.) Our own profession has a pva of less than 8 so don’t take your hard-earned TNR freedom for granted.

MasterMind is your ticket to ride for financial freedom. Economics is not merely serving more people. There are tremendous silent, emotional blocks (see pony story in last week's Happenings) to you increasing your income 3,5,10x. Increasing your income exponentially almost never is a doctor or technique issue, rather its YOU! It’s your past programming that absolutely prevents you from moving beyond a pre-determined set point. MasterMind pushes you past your current comfort zone and helps you re-establish your true worth, inside or outside of insurance coverage. I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s fun, but it’s highly effective.

Fun Day Update

Kenny Smoker and Dr. Megan both commented on how smoothly and organized everything was. Like special ops commandoes, we were prepared and self-contained. The kids, in spite of record high temps, just didn’t care. Making the dunk tank into a community pool was a hit. Jeff Taylor (Dr. Cliff’s dad) is returning to the reservation to finish the geodescent solar-powered greenhouse dome. Excess food is being used as a food bank to be given out during the school year to needy families. The kids loved the upgraded quality backpacks. The pictures will be on the LHNC website soon so share them with your practice members. There are hundreds of them! You could run them on a widescreen TV or laptop throughout the day in your office. We spotted a 9-year old girl wearing her backpack proudly in 106-degree heat while riding her bike on Saturday after Friday’s Fun Day. The kid that won the bike that Dr. Aaron donated and had kids help assemble, still has that smile on his face. A big shout out to all the builders who planned and planned and executed in 107-degree heat to the best of their abilities. Teachers received hundreds of t-shirts, underwear, and socks to be distributed during the school year. As a kid, it’s not easy asking for underwear, t-shirts, and socks you don’t have at home. We will announce the Christmas on the Reservation dates in the next few weeks. How about this idea: have a referral contest and bring the winner to the Reservation to hand out gifts with you! Can you say VIP?

Practice tip of the week

Man up when it comes to telling practice members what your truth is. Sooner or later, you will escape the vise-grip of limiting, profit before people insurance companies telling you what to do, how to care for your practice members and to not accept kids. In this Karaoke, upside-down world, practice members place more emphasis on the method of payment, rather than the person who will or will not deliver the results. Much akin to how a thing looks (social order, appearance), rather than how it performs (natural order, essence). Take economics out of the equation and tell people what they will need in their journey of health in your office. Don’t be influenced by a practice member's supposed economic level, their insurance limitation, etc. Tell them the truth, straight up. Stop thinking about what other people will think and other people’s opinions, or what the DC down the street is doing, etc. No matter how many people don’t believe or don’t care, their health, as well as their family’s health, is their responsibility, not an insurance company or the government. Live free or die!

Dogs do talk if you care to listen!

Have you ever noticed how many dogs don’t listen to their owners and yet get rewarded for it?  I was at a dog owner’s home over the weekend and was reminded of how ill-mannered and training deficient some dogs can be. The dog barked and barked and barked. The owner didn’t seem to mind and talked in baby talk to the dog, reinforcing his mangy behavior. The woman said the dog likes to hear itself bark. I wonder who told her that? Maybe her dog speaks to her in English. You couldn’t have a conversation with the owner because of the incessant barking. The focus of the social encounter was the dog, not the people. I couldn’t help thinking if this is how many people train their dogs, how far behind can their kids be. Rewarding and accepting lousy behavior is all too common today because so many people are not able to parent their dogs or their children. They just don’t have the tools and they attack and make fun of others who don’t support their lasses faire attitudes, which is a carefully veiled smokescreen of feeling powerless.

How about when it comes to health, which they know almost nothing about?  Disease, yes, health no. In your office, way too much personal power is wasted with ‘barking dogs’ calling attention to their rude and counterproductive behavior online, as well as offline. Are you receiving play by play commentary on your adjustments via texts or email? Stop it immediately. Does it really help a practice member get healthier by arguing with the doctor about insurance coverage, the affordability of care, and the recommendations or proving their non-believer status? It serves no purpose other than not producing results. Does it really help your kid by adding their name to the disease majority and saying its okay, because it’s so common today? Higher resonating people won't accept the things average people accept.

Your office should reflect a different type of orientation that doesn’t reward a lack of participation, entitlement, something for nothing, or accepting sickness because everyone else does. Yes, there is a penalty for leadership only with people who beg and plead with their pets to ‘be good’ instead of creating an environment that allows the pet to behave. Like a filter that filters out particles too large that would cause the engine harm, it's not that we are mad or angry at people outside the sweet spot (particles too large.) They won’t allow us to help them. Listen to your practice members, they will tell you in words and actions if they are believers or non-believers. Love everybody, but know you can’t help people that are too busy ‘barking’ to listen to how to regain their health.

DCME news

As lots of members who are seeing DCMEs are finding out, if you are going to be successful attending to these types of cases, you must continually work on yourself. Working with people up against the proverbial wall with a gun at their back brings out primitive feelings and emotions that can’t be explained nor rationalized: old feelings of inadequacy, betrayal, feeling like you won’t be able to produce results, feeling like you're a salesman, penalties for attempting to help people that didn’t want your help in spite of what they told you, etc. DCMEs are not something to do and then say, what’s next. They are a foundation of your practice. They are not outside-in, they are strictly inside-out. This is an ability that can only be earned by looking in the mirror and doing the work on your self. Each Head-2-Head peels away layers of your shadow self and allows the real you to do great things. Each TNR training session allows you to see your inner procrastination of what you won’t implement in your office for fear of opinions, economics, or your practice members. The last 20 21-Day DCME Video Programs have been ordered by the same 4 members. Coincidence…I think not. Is doing DCMEs any different than seeing kids for the 2% of our profession. It’s the offline, fierce declaration of independence from the oppression and tyranny of being a face-in-the-crowd, $50 an adjustment DC.
