TNR Happenings August 29th
Your Weekly TNR Pulse
Miyagi September 16th & 17th
Some of our newer members have asked for a more linear and concrete explanation of what Miyagi is. Not only is it difficult to put in words, it changes each and every time. Similar core, then it morphs. An example of this is to contrast the 2 guests we have had so far with Miyagi: George and Pamela! Try making a connection between the two and yet they each were just perfect. I just put on a pediatrics seminar in Augusta, GA (shout out to Dr. Beth Flack for making the trip) and was taken back with a DC in his very early 60’s who couldn’t practice because of health challenges. In a room of DCs, there he sat and yet nobody thought they or Chiropractic could help him. He had an impressive medical diagnosis, substantiating why he couldn’t practice anymore. Anyone of our members reading this could put this DC back in practice… and that’s what Miyagi is all about.
We are sending out a snail mail letter detailing 10 reasons why all members should be at Miyagi and why more than 99% of our profession sees no reason to attend. This DC who has helped many practice members in his shortened career is an acceptable loss, collateral damage, friendly fire victim. For some, this DC doesn’t matter, but to us everyone matters. Many people think the children on the reservation don’t matter either. Lose the limitations once and for all with Chiropractic.
Practice tip of the week
These are some simple upgrades for the next generation (Gen X and Millennials) of parents. They will make your office their home away from home if you can communicate to them in their language. To attract and retain them you need to be 3 things; 1. Unique 2. Scientific based 3. Humanitarian/Big Vision. Reducing symptoms, no matter how you cut it (chemical, massage, drugs, surgery, physical therapy, Chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, dry needling), is not unique; which means they will not stay long term. Removing accumulated layers of spinal injury on an ongoing basis is as unique as it gets, even among DCs! Removing layers of spinal injuries has no age. They can choose condition, corrective, or wellness care. They love choices. So upgrade your website. Have lots of testimonials with proper release forms signed, of course. Keep your social media current. Blog, podcast, get the message out. Have a weekly email and skip the recipes and dietary advice. Remember, your content must be unique!

Dr. Rick Thompson won the prize!
Cowboy Rick was the first to correctly answer the Bonsai tree from last week’s Miyagi Madness. He was so delirious when he won, he forgot what he won. He said he never wins anything so he buys it instead. Was it a 50 pack of VSC pamphlets or a Big Vision H2H? Hmmm, maybe you would know if you had called!
