TNR Happenings August 6, 2018

It’s finally here…Boot Camp 2018
As of this writing, our crew tops out at 42 people including a brand new baby, if he/she ever gets here! The site work for the Geodesent Growing Dome Greenhouse is being done as we speak, the dome has been delivered, the backpacks and school supplies have arrived, the high quality, non-perishable food has been ordered, and the donations have been extra generous. Dr. Aaron Londos donated $1,000. Dr. Mark Bassett’s office just donated $2,000! Because of the collective power of TNR tribe, this year’s effort will be our best!
All year long the kids on the reservation look forward to Fun Day! It’s much more than a couple of days of fun and food for the kids…it's HOPE! Us returning every year lets the kids know that other people outside of the Reservation care about them. It can sometimes make horrific living conditions more tolerable. This event signals that help is on the way and they are not alone.
All attendees: please send all your pictures to Dr. Julie at info@coachingforchiropractors.com

Fun Day weather alert!
As always it’s going to be HOT! This year will be over 100 degrees each day! Keeping hydrated is a must and headgear and sun block are to be considered. Here is an example of a ‘feeling good’ hat that will be worn by some members.

If you’re able to do your work in the shade, by all means do so. The last 2 days we will be in Poplar and the Chiropractic Clinic is air conditioned, as well as the movie theater. Take breaks if necessary!
Practice tip of the week
Always remember that being a part of TNR means that there is a humanitarian core to you, you are striving to produce extremely uncommon results, and your economics are 3,5,10x other DCs. Complacency and stagnation are enemies of being that once-in-a-lifetime DC. As you gain resonation, you will experience challenges and obstacles. Some people are not going to like the new and improved you. Sometimes great practice members will cease to participate. Friends will distance themselves from you because of your newfound beliefs. Producing uncommon clinical results and uncommon economics, as a result, will create an inner tension in you because it will challenge your comfort zone. Don’t let the opinions or expectations of others delay you from establishing a better version of yourself. Patients might compare you to DCs that have been in their lives previously. You are different, distinct, train like no other, and love helping people. Be in fair exchange with those who allow you to be who you really are. Don’t let those naysayers have power in your life. To the socially accepted disease model, health is seen as an enemy to be attacked and criticized. Do it anyway, despite the resistance. Even from inner circle people. They don’t see your vision and they aren’t doing what you do.
Have a LHNC night after Fun Day!
Dr. Lizzie Snow of Fort Walton Beach had a LHNC night to kick off donations and her journey to the reservation. She had a great turnout. What was particularly noteworthy is when she played the LHNC documentary, the practice members who had done the 21-Day DCME Video Program immediately recognized Miyagi and asked, “That guy again?” The higher resonating your practice members are the more they will embrace a higher contribution from Chiropractic rather than merely adult, pain relief. Being connected to a cause bigger than self-gain is always a growth magnet. Have a LHNC evening whether you attend Boot Camp or not. Invite practice members and guest to attend. Show the documentary and pictures. Several members have had a LHNC night, including Dr. Lisa and Dr. Sabrina. Create a community where people choose to participate rather than a place where you have to use strategies to close, convince, or sell. Use power instead of force.

DCME news
One of the amazing side effects of offering 2 tiers or levels of recommendations is the increased belief of the doctor on 2 levels. First, being able to budge the invisible needle with conditions that are not usually mentioned in Chiropractic circles. Second, being outside the colonized, industry norms of the $50 adjustment. DCME is not only an answer to the philosophical question of being able to financially offer wellness care, it helps a population of practice members that have historically been abandoned or given up on. At the recent DCME seminar, we went over the case history and the clinical synopsis of a 17-year-old kid who was incarcerated in a mental health lock-up facility. He is now out of the system and will not be committed to an adult system for the rest of his life. If you asked 100 people on the street if they thought Chiropractic could help with a case like this, you know what their answers would be. You are not looking for consensus or agreement with DCME cases; you are identifying people who are willing to do whatever the #%&* it takes to get results. Do you know that only a very tiny fraction of DCs have the training, expertise, and guts to go after the difficult cases?
The next TNR training seminars are September 14th and 15th
MasterMind will be on Friday, September 14th and the TNR seminar will be on Saturday, September 15th. Yes, there are H2H openings before and after the seminars but they get scooped up real fast! Remember, when you get your TNR muscles you have to keep pushing them or they will atrophy. Isolation, complacency, and the willingness to accept smallness all add up to DCs having lower levels of achievement. Training to become the best version of yourself is hardwired in long-term TNR members. This constant, continual improvement is found in almost no other areas of life. It’s real, not virtual, and it doesn’t make for the most popular path. As an elder/shaman on the Fort Peck Reservation told us at a Boot Camp many moons ago, "The red path is not an easy path, but it’s the path of heart."
Do you know a DC who needs a lift?
If you have an area colleague or classmate that would be open to finding out about TNR, please encourage them to contact me. Video conferences are very popular but if they prefer, we could do a phone consultation. Within a few minutes, they will feel the culture of TNR. Let them know that you don’t join TNR, it becomes a part of you. By accepting help or by joining, it signals the end of the struggle and the beginning of demonstrating who they really are. The world has enough good DCs. If you know someone who wants to be the best version of themselves, have them contact us. Thank you!
