A Christmas Message From Dr. Kevin
This is my favorite time of the year. The weeks around Christmas and New Year’s give us all the opportunity to reflect and to look forward. If we don’t do this every year, it’s like allowing the barnacles to accumulate on our ships. They invisibly slow down our ships, and then we wonder why our fuel costs are up, our top speed is off, and our lives become more of a struggle. Below are some insights, in no particular order, for keeping your hull in tip-top condition for the upcoming year:
Let Go Of Past Grievances
I don’t care who they are with (a hint here, start with your birth parents), let them go with no “Yeah buts”. There are no installment plans; today, just let them go. It doesn’t matter who is right or wrong; stop holding on to things that destroy your peace, health, and ability to succeed. You are not going to change, rationalize, or reason with this person. Be too big to be offended or dominated by anyone. Don’t allow others to hold space in your mind without paying rent.
Hold On To Things That Are Important To You
It’s easy to be distracted in today’s social media-driven world. It’s not quite true, but true enough in the world of the ordinary, which conspires to pull you away from the things of meaning or purpose and to get you to kneel at the altar of the transient, untrue, popular, etc. Health is not popular in the world of the ordinary any more than peace is in the world at war.
Tighten Up And Upgrade Your Relationships At Home
Are you aligned or involved? It is easy to get casual with your mate as you begin an insidious, downward spiral. Understand, once and for all, that their needs are your needs. On the flip side, if you are miserable, don’t keep this to yourself, ignore it, or deny it. Doing it for the kids or saying it’s not so bad are socially accepted ways of resigning yourself to being powerless. Playing victim is popular in our culture. You are never in too deep, as you have learned with my teachings, Miracle Training, TNR newsletter, etc. Time after time, you have seen people make miraculous changes in their lives rather than endure toxic relationships. Stop making excuses and improve your relationships on a continual basis, not when your relationships are sagging.
Upgrade Your Participation In Life
Going through the motions, not being present in the present, and constantly getting distracted by your phone or computer is no way to live. If you want more financial success, you must make the internal changes. Others will look for the next popular, bright shiny object or will find a coach that will act as a paid friend who pretends to help and care. If you are with your family, be present. If you are at your office, be present. Focus on your kids. Stop trying to be in two places at once.
More Leadership, Less Being A Sheep
There is nobody you know who can affect a human life as you can. It is of the highest order in a world of health, love, and compassion. In the world where we live, disease, war, profits, drugs, surgery, chemo, and radiation get top billing. This will not change and is not under your control. Disagree with it. The world tries to dictate to you how to live your life. Stop wasting your time with people who won’t budge. There is a consequence of being close-minded, skeptical, and cynical.
Show Me The Money!
If you want more income, commit to being more honest with yourself. Something inside of you is being blocked from receiving. Your worth is being controlled by others (parents, mates, teachers, family), and you are not aware of it. Like invisible puppet strings, you are being controlled automatically. There is an invisible ceiling placed on your income and earnings. This year, we had a 25-year practitioner claim the most income of her career. When asked how she did it, she was unable to put it into linear, analytical terms. For almost half a century, she has also carried the burden of disease that is now loosening its grip. Coincidence or synchronicity?
Open Your Mouth!
If you know of someone in dire straits, let them know there is help available. Miracle Training is that help. The family meme in our society is more powerful than you can imagine. Don’t be afraid to be disruptive by letting people know what you know to be true. Don’t just sit there and pretend there are no solutions. Every year, I hear about so many people who are in dire health circumstances, but there is always a catch: insurance, family activities, money, etc. Remember, the person in the circumstance doesn’t know the solution, and the people that are yapping in their ears don’t either. They might act aggressively, attack you, think you’re nuts, etc. Let them know anyway. Miracle Training is a resource that no other person outside TNR has. You are not responsible for their opinion of help; just let them know that help is out there. You have no stake in their opinion of it. It’s wasted on the many and reserved for the few.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
It has been an honor and a privilege to have you aboard this year. My wife and I are grateful for every one of our members. Also, this year’s Christmas on the Reservation was extra-special. We could not have done it without every one of you. Make 2026 your best year ever.
