TNR Happenings: February 27, 2017

Your Weekly TNR Pulse
SA was sensational!
The riddle of how you sound to strangers and appear on camera was finally solved once and for all. You got to observe yourself under some extreme conditions. So many attendees just loved Lauren, a Millennial with a 4-month-old daughter. She was the truth meter and she gave great feedback! Was she not spot on? “Sure, I’d have a beer with you” is not the same thing as “run my card.” Not by a long shot! Hanging out with you is okay, but dating…NO WAY! Understanding just how powerful the spinal onion and BA concepts were and seeing them in action was simply amazing. You could see the improvement in communication skills and making people feel safe increase for each participant. Sure, it’s very important to memorize the clinical procedures and patient education but the delivery can’t sound scripted or it’s an instant turn off. Use these newfound communication skills every day. Make them practical and watch what happens to your office.
Dr. Kevin in CT and ARK
Dr. Kevin will be in Arkansas on March 11 & 12th and then CT on March 25th. If you are in need of license credit hours or you have DC friends in those states, please let them know. These events are a great way of introducing people to TNR.
Boot Camp dates announced!
This year it’s expanded to a 4-Day festival. We will be on the reservation from August 9th to the 12th. The first two days are the Fun Day Carnivals like what we’ve put on in the past in Wolf Point and Poplar. The other two days are a never been done before, full day summer camp for kids and at risk teens. Pros from the world of basketball and hockey will be there for the kids, along with the DCs and their families, CAs and a bunch of other special guests! There will be pods of activity all over the place! If you have any guests that would like to participate, please let them know! You can stay for all 4 days or any part of them (we hope you stay the entire time!) The crowds of kids over these 4 days will be massive! Game on!
Practice tip of the week
Have your office sponsor an event! So many people in your community do not know about your office yet. Sometimes after just a few years (or decades) we naturally are drawn to stay in our offices. The things we did to build our practices, we just don’t do anymore. Having an event where there is not sales pressure is a fun and easy way of attracting people into your world. Having a doggie appreciation day is a great way to attract lots of people to your office. Contact dog grooming places in your area and arrange to have a handler work with all of the dogs or have them donate raffle prizes. The event can consist of obedience lessons, a dog show (ribbons for every dog, like most intelligent, cutest, biggest, most well behaved, etc. The third part is having an optional dog walk in a local park. Stream it live, take lots of video, put it up on your website. Have goodie bags for all participants that include the new Baseline Assessment. You can have office tours, answer questions, etc. Some other ideas would be having pro athletes make appearances, having military appreciation days, etc.
Dr. Christy and Dr. Cliff open March 4th
The grand opening of Taylor Family Chiropractic is just days away. They have been working up people, but the official date is this Saturday and they are expecting large crowds. Send them a text or shout out on FB.
Baby alert
TNR student member Cassandra Marchant just delivered adorable twin girls last week, Isabella and McKinley. Dr. Sabrina is thinking of ways to speed up the arrival time of her baby, who is due any day now. Will it be a little girl? Her youngest, Logan, was 10 days late! Dr. Brandi Dollens is also due in a couple of weeks. Shout outs to all the new beginnings!
