Praise for DCME
“Difficult Cases – understanding the tie that binds us humans together and helps lift up those who’ve slipped through the cracks. These cases- recalling and walking through them together- can feel the hope and healing not to mention understanding how the finances of these cases can then propel the wellness movement- something I never quite got before. Was awesome- Dr. Kevin never disappoints me upping his game continuously.”
“Today’s Difficult Cases Made Easy was somehow both mind-blowing and a huge breath of fresh air. The concepts we covered were so much bigger than the clinical information we spend nearly 4 or more years trying to digest. Quite frankly, they were even bigger than Chiropractic itself. It shifted the way I see relationships - and even though I’m still processing most of it - it’s shifting the way I view my HOW. No amount of technique seminars, research articles, or pathology could produce the shift, clarity, and confidence that this seminar provided/inspired. It was also a huge check for where I’m at not just as a Chiropractor, but as a person…highlighting where I’m not playing all out in my own life and seeing how that plays out in all areas of my life.”
This is for members only and there are good seats still available. Call today! Special treat: there is a persistent rumor that Dr. Sabrina’s 2nd Big Vision writing will be unveiled as well as her brand new pamphlets from the TNR custom shop.

Practice tip of the week
Consciously expand the parts of your practice that you want and let the other parts go! Stop accepting people who tear you down, are always negotiating, are always asking questions that don’t have answers, and attempt to make you practice the way they want you to. Do Health Awareness Seminars regularly in your office. This really makes a difference in the quality of new patients! Make sure you have the TNR/Life U videos and use them with every practice member. If you have a bio that Dr. Kevin assisted you with, email this to them before they venture into your office. It’s polarizing and they will say, "This is exactly what I was looking for" or "No way, I’m looking for a Burger King DC." Be okay with going above and beyond insurance guidelines for reimbursement. Stop writing letters begging for more reimbursement. It erodes your spirit and devalues Chiropractic. Put more emphasis on kids and DCMEs! Millennials, Gen Xs and iGens demand help for their kids with brain and nerve system handicaps.
From the mind of Miyagi

Being a wimp is no longer a sustainable option. If you think being a Navy Seal, once-in-a-lifetime DC is just not worth the effort, consider this: DCs and NDs in some states and provinces are having rights taken away from them. Just because you're not affected right now, don't take your rights for granted. How would you like to not be able to see children? How would you like to be pigeon-holed into seeing pain relief for only 6 visits? How would you like to not be able to use any form of testimonials? Of particular note, they are still allowing you to have live gatherings in your office, knowing good and well that the average doctor has absolutely no chops when it comes to communicating in public.
Throughout history, those who have taken their freedoms for granted have predictably lost them. Those who fight for them not only guarantee these freedoms for themselves but also pave the road for others who did not fight. This is the way it always has been and always will be. The minority help provide rights, privileges, and freedoms that the majority did not earn. That’s what makes TNR so special!
DCME confidential

Question 1: I have a potential DCME member who says she would be all in for her daughter if the economic requirements were relaxed. What do I do?
Answer: If gyms were free, more people would work out and if education were free, more people would be educated. It sounds so logical, and yet it’s usually unconscious, and rooted in commitment disability. A practice member says if only your HAS was on Wednesdays, I’d bring in the whole town. If you make the mistake of moving it to Wednesday, you’ll see the folly of your logic. People in the Sweet Spot will find a way and people outside the Sweet Spot will make an excuse.
Question2: Why am I gun shy with certain diseases and illnesses?
Answer: It’s all a function of your previous medical programming. Let's say you have an aunt who died a slow, painful, drama-filled death with X, Y, Z disease. That disease will have an emotional resistance at a deep subconscious level for you. To someone else, this disease is seen for what it truly is: a loss of health.
Time to schedule your next Head-to-Head
The pond is covered by ice so you can be guaranteed (well, sort of) of not doing any pond work! H2H’s are not always when you have your head stuck where the sun doesn’t shine. They are also to be done as tune-ups, to keep you on the path, to ignite your spirit, and to not let other people’s expectations or opinions sway you. If you haven’t considered having a Big Vision Beyond Branding Head-to-Head, consider it.

LHNC news
Christmas on the Reservation 2018 has passed but we're still receiving monetary donations and articles of clothing and toys for the Reservation. Keep it coming and be sure to check out our Facebook page to see all the items that pass through headquarters 12 months a year. We are being besieged with musical instruments lately. Who knew? Let your practice members know that all donations, including money, clothing, and sporting goods, are welcomed all year long. Kenny Smoker and Dr. Megan see to it that the food, clothing, coats, boots, and toys make it to the right kids all year long. This is really appreciated.
Happy New Year from Hachi Bear!
