TNR Happenings January 20, 2020

As promised, DCME was historic
We celebrated the new practice openings of 2 of our members with customized cakes; the ‘Answers to Questions’ were read aloud; we had an intimate, behind-the-scenes glimpse of a Miyagi DCME, Dr. Lizzie had an extra special H2H before the training, we covered the making of level 2 packages, the Honor Blanket was used, Mila was in attendance, we covered the Community vs. Society Concept (what an eye opener!), Hachi was entertainment at the after-party, and there was plenty of food and hospitality at the Pallis Ranch. Reminder for the participants: take each unpublished article from the manual and write a few paragraphs about how it pertains to you and how to make it practical in your office.
LHNC news!
They’re here! The Book of Smiles by Dr. Julie has arrived and will be mailed to all TNR offices. Dr. Julie traveled to the Reservation and took all of the pictures that are in the book. They will be mailed out within the next day or so. Display it in your reception area. Autograph the first page and thank the tireless effort of your entire office for helping to make this year’s Christmas on the Reservation our best ever.

The Fisher Cat was captured on film!
The trail cams were a Christmas present from our kids. The first pictures were of coyotes, deer, foxes, and raccoons. Now we have captured a picture of the infamous Fisher Cat. It is so much fun seeing the different wild animals.

From the Mind of Miyagi

A new reality show has emerged called :Listing Impossible”. It’s about how the most expensive houses of the rich and famous in CA languish unsold on the market until this once-in-a-lifetime realtor that is like Cesar Milan comes to the rescue. He has the unenviable job of telling narcissistic, arrogant rich people what they don’t want to hear: they are the reason the house has not sold. Sometimes it’s the décor. Other times it’s privacy issues, furnishings, and personal tastes. When he tells them this reality they react just like your practice members do. They get angry, stubborn, disagree, and cry foul.
One of the home owners was a wealthy, divorced woman who lives in a 13.9 million dollar ‘prison’ (her description) where all of her assets are tied up. Two other agents had attempted to sell her house and failed. It had been on the market for over 3 years. The super hero real estate broker is quite certain he can sell it; however, there are some concerns that must be addressed. $15,000 for some different furnishings and $200,000 for privacy issues with the swimming pool (bamboo trees). At first she doesn’t think it’s a problem. Then she refuses and utters the immortal phrase, “I’ll have to ask my ex-husband.” $215,000 to earn MILLIONS? Sure sounds logical to me!
The reality is she is angry, frustrated, and feels abandoned, let down, and kicked to the curb. Plus she receives lots of juice from the story of the predicament she finds herself. She says she desperately wants to sell her house. She does at one level. But at a deeper level, the shadow level, acute onset retardation (AOR) rules. Oh, you poor thing. I got to thinking that it’s the same with our practice members. Illness is a story you get to tell to get sympathy and juice from everyone you tell. Everyone wants to get better, don’t they? “I’ve been to 3 different doctors.” “I have chronic fibromyalgia.” The translation is, “I am powerless and it’s not my fault. Don’t ask too much of me.” If you’re old enough, you’ll remember the echo virus was one of the stories in days gone by.
The analytical mind is a safe harbor from solutions. We always think that someone or something will rescue us from this horrible circumstance. Someone else who will do the heavy lifting. The solution is completely out of the wheelhouse of the frontal lobes. The invisible subconscious secretly controls what you will and won’t do.
Is it any wonder why your people refuse recommendations, say, “I can’t afford it:, “I’ll have to go home and ask my spouse”, etc.? They are getting something out of being in this circumstance, even though they profess at a conscious level to want otherwise. You are attempting to take away their story or their excuse as to why they are not living Above the Line. “It’s the disease’s fault, the doctor’s fault, the insurance company’s fault, but certainly not mine.” They resist any attempts at joining in the solution, not giving their best effort and dropping the story. Moral of the story: why should you feel guilty when a person rejects your efforts to help them? Find someone who is willing to give up the story and do whatever it takes.
It’s Head-to-Head season!
The Sacred Relationship Experience is in March and we don’t have another TNR training session until May! The next few months are a great time for a Head-to-Head. You may have a very specific reason or not. Training is the only way to insulate yourself from the mediocrity of being ‘good enough’. It’s just too easy to get overwhelmed and feel let down by family activities, other’s expectations (spouse, in-laws, friends), insurance guidelines, computers, and CAs. Put the oxygen mask on yourself first. It’s not being selfish: it’s just the opposite. Don’t allow yourself to get worn down! Schedule your Head-to-Head today!

Question 1: When a person is in a life and death circumstance, what is the breakdown of physical, emotional, and chemical interference?
Answer: As a general rule, physical damage from the birthing process to falls, sports, injuries, fights, etc. comes along with daily living. Chemical insult comes from medicines to vaccines, pollution, additives, tainted food, etc. The real variable is emotional. Two kids in the same family with the same parents can have completely different takes on their upbringing. You would swear they were brought up in different households. Until the sacred relationship is formed and you peel away the emotional layers of interference, clinical results are often unsatisfactory. The 21-Day DCME Video Program allows each and every DCME to journey into their past to clean up some of the emotional debris that prevents them from becoming healthier.
Question 2: I just can’t imagine charging a person more than $2,000 for Chiropractic care. I think of all the single mothers and people living in poverty. And what about the people living on the Reservation?
Answer: Who died and left you in charge of things. Why $2,000 and not $2500, $4000, etc. Your depth of belief is being exposed: your belief in yourself and the power of Chiropractic. The best thing you can do for the unhealthy is to become healthy. The best thing you can do for poverty is to become ultra-successful. Training in TNR events will expose your depth of belief each and every time. Just one day after DCME, one of our members came home to the single largest case of their careers. Coincidence, by chance? I don’t think so. Trainings and Head-to-Heads allow you to experience and gain the ability to put up with craziness from the inmates; and a love of people allows you to help patients that others are not able to.
