Tao of TNR Is On March 15, 2024
It all comes down to a predictable path and journey to keep your fire lit. Of course, economics for any doctor/healer are necessary, but so are life's drive, passion, and purpose. What about your true connection and duty to the people you serve? With the tongue-and-groove nature of TNR trainings, the subjects all fit and build off each other. Imagine you just finished baking in a smoldering sweat lodge, and then it was off to the icy Pallis Ranch pond. Some would tap out, and that’s okay. Others would do it only if peer pressure bullied them into doing it. Others do it at training to continually reflect on what they do when nobody is watching. They act the same way in Kansas and Norwood. They also have a smaller footprint on social media because of its banality and commonness. Regardless of the healing method employed, this invisible, vital factor is behind the person. This is what separates pros from amateurs. By the way, if you are in any relationship with one of these, you have a knowing smile right now. Mark March 15th on your calendar and plan to attend!

Love Has No Color News
Even though our next Reservation activity seems an eternity away, there is a way you can get a healthy drink of Kenny Smoker. He will co-present with me at the Grief Retreat on May 16th & 17th. This will be a capped event. Half of the participants will be with Kenny, and half will be with me when we start. Then, we will switch back and forth for the entire two days. If you plan to attend, let Dr. Julie know, as it will sell out quickly. Here is a testimonial from the first Grief Retreat.
"Today, I left my old self behind. All that I have known as the person I was. I have cleared the slate for more space for the life I choose instead of the default I have been living on. The experience of the Grief Retreat opened my eyes to new things I didn’t realize were holding me back and also let me feel deeper into the stuck things I have been hesitant – or outright resistant to letting go. Dr. Kevin, your guidance and compassion, and a healthy dose of realism shook me to realize that I have more to lose by hanging on to my life of default than I do by leaping into the unknown.
Kenny’s presence and teachings were one of the many sacred components and his teachings reached a different element of my spirit and has awakened something inside of me. I am so grateful for this sacred healing experience and everyone involved to create this opportunity."

From the Mind of Miyagi

The power of beliefs: Once you agree with a belief and make it ‘yours,’ you are usually stuck with it for a lifetime. Another way we get stuck with beliefs that don’t serve us is by getting them foisted on us when we are young and vulnerable. Even if it creates havoc in your life, you will defend and protect it with your life. My daughter, Christy, recently shared a video (I usually don’t watch) of a comedian mocking all the idiots who fell for covid. (https://youtu.be/MyNJdLSE9FQ?si=k6NKFgvSXnH2DU0i) It’s funny and riveting, but things in life are never how they appear. Under the tip of the iceberg is the fact that the great majority of the audience outburst in laughter after the crisis has passed. When it’s safe to come out of your basement/bunker, you can pretend after the fact that you’re cool and saw through the hoax of a lifetime. The reality is the majority in this or any audience have been vaccinated and boosted. Yet, when the coast is clear, they can laugh about it because the consensus says it’s safe from the mandates of government and science.
The great thing about beliefs is they are invisible to others. You can lie, fake, and wear masks while people are too busy with themselves to even notice. The reality of beliefs is they aren’t truth, just your assumption that something is true. There is a big difference. Our society attempts to divide people into good or bad, pass or fail, popular or non-popular, entertaining or lame. It asks you to be a Catholic or a Protestant, a Republican or a Democrat. How can you be only one? Don’t people know about the tension of opposites, two sides of the same coin? Our society thinks for you and appropriates your freedom for the hefty price of being a part of something cool or socially approved. With followers on social media and cyberbullying, people spend their whole lives living in the shadows of true relationships. They observe life rather than directly experiencing it.
When a person enters your office, they foist their false beliefs on you about disease. They give you resistance or opposition to what you are attempting to do, and if you agree with them, they will pretend to like you so they get what they want. They might even give you a silly review on social media. Health is never a consideration because there are no models of health, only disease. Maybe you don’t want to join an ashram, live in poverty, protest everything under the sun, and do nothing. Health stands on its own, as nobody owns it. It’s universal and available to all, regardless of gender, age, beliefs, etc. Symptom relief is important to the individual. Health is essential to the individual, as well as the collective. There are no exceptions. Of course, nobody wants to be in pain, but it is only a small part of their health. Reacting to disease is so outdated, yet so many checks and balances are in place that it’s not going anywhere. Fighting against something is not even in the same galaxy as being for something. Look at the war against cancer. How about the constant, continual movement towards health? Let’s stop war. It will never happen with our track record of being at war. Peace is an unknown commodity. Peace is not a cease-fire.
People are so well-versed in disease, so don’t expect them to trade in their beliefs for yours. They will smile like a Cheshire cat until their insurance runs out or they are out of pain. Does this remind anybody of intimate relationships? As a leader, you will be rejected and lied to, and people won’t like the person who holds them accountable. Don’t try to convince, prove, or argue with them. Instead, blend, share, and demonstrate. If they have the adaptation skills, they will become great practice members. If they don’t, they chew and screw. Please don’t give them the power to get you to compromise, agree with them, or say your care is not worth it, etc. You are the leader, the doctor. The people who will not cooperate will grow a big set of stones (keyboard courage/cloak and dagger crouched behind their electronic binkies) and an accompanying mouth to go along with it. Even little old ladies!
Miracle Training
People have built-in beliefs when the going gets tough: saying nothing can be done is a popular adaptation. This is otherwise known as throwing in the towel or quitting. How about this built-in belief: mistaking activity for achievement? Some of the sickest people on the planet develop a lifestyle of sickness with doctors’ visits, drugs, surgery, being shut in, and in-patient or outpatient care. Their lives are ruled by sickness. They have no intention of ever getting better. How about visiting a doctor who asks to see the previous doctor's records? They give a second opinion based on seeing the cards of the last doctor. Classifying a problem is never about resolving the issue. Most people get lost in the problem and forget the solution is the objective.
One of the most beautiful sights in the world are parents, spouses, family members, or friends who will not accept what can’t be done and are willing to do what it takes for resolution. They are a different breed. They can be all personality types, have various levels of education, and be wealthy or poor; it doesn’t matter. They don’t fight with doctors that they sense know what is going on. They have a built-in tuning fork, and when they meet the once-in-a-lifetime doctor, it starts to vibrate. Lots of charlatans are out there that prey on people, like scammers prey on the elderly. There is nothing like a direct referral. Social media, consensus, and popularity pale in comparison. People are moved by direct referral like nothing else. Most (not all) of my Miracle Training clients had never met me or read my material before engaging in MT. The referrals have come from doctors or others like you who know me and have directly experienced my trainings, and they trust me personally. Social media, politics, and the government are great influencers of the masses, but when it comes to a person in a life-and-death circumstance, they are ineffective. Smoke-and-mirrors substitutes and imitations are not the real thing. Nothing is easy, cheap, or convenient when faced with dire circumstances.

DCME Confidential

Question 1: My DCME practice member is only doing the minimum. They answer their phone during treatment and shoosh me with their hands as if their call is more important than what they are doing with me. What should I do?
Answer: The horse is already out of the barn with no boundaries, no respect, and, sadly, no results. Get another DCME and start the relationship out better right from the get go.
Question 2: The hygiene of my DCME is atrocious. It’s like sitting next to an open sewer. I have to breathe through my mouth. Sometimes I think he’s just too dense to notice and other times I think he knows and thinks it’s funny. Do you have any suggestions?
Answer: If your relationship expands, his hygiene will clear up automatically. It’s a sign of respect. When he feels better, it will occur to him.
