TNR Happenings 1.5.25

It’s Almost Here!

DCME is less than two weeks away! The ingredients to success, purpose, and meaning in life are all about deposits, not withdrawals. These deposits should consist of training and continual evolution of your true talents and abilities regardless of whether society or your family thinks it’s a necessary or wise expenditure of your time and resources. Kaizen is the Japanese business concept of constant and continual improvement instead of doing things only when things go sideways. This translates to continual improvement, a deepening of your inner world and clinical skills, and serving a bigger vision than your finances. Finances are important, but by themselves, they will not insulate you from the ups and downs of life. What if there was a way to sharpen your connection to humanity, upgrade your clinical skills, and earn multiples of what other people who share the same letters next to their names? Don’t be distracted by the lesser important things screaming for your attention and time. Life is sacred, regardless of whether you agree or not. Discounted tickets are available until today. Friday and Sunday are still open for Head-to-Heads. Call today to purchase your ticket!

DIFFICULT CASES MADE EASY 1.18.25

LHNC News

Being a once-in-a-lifetime anything means you can see things that others can’t. Others can look directly at something and are not allowed access to a deeper reality of what they are looking at. We just delivered gifts to the kids of Fort Peck in December. To the world of the ordinary, it seems like nothing has happened before this or is happening after. Guess again. This is like an expectant mother who doesn’t know she is expecting yet. The miracle is moving forward regardless of her recognition of it, her love for her partner, her life circumstances, etc. The time after our yearly events is when the real magic happens. Take Christmas, love, and recognition of these kids out of the equation, and you will find a mess! Some of your life's most memorable, joyous, and precious moments were centered around holidays. Another great holiday sets the tone for the rest of the year and your life. A well-meaning but skeptical mother once asked me what would happen the day after her daughter graduated from Miracle Training. I said she would begin her new life. The trajectory is forever changed to what is possible. After receiving continued love, hope, and recognition from our group, what happens when adverse events present themselves unannounced to the kids on the Reservation? They now have more resilience, more grit, and more love in their hearts, and they can call upon this strength forever.

The Mind of Miyagi

A classmate of ours in Chiropractic College passed away recently. He was  67 years young, gulp! He and his wife were kind, decent, and helpful. They cared about family and their practice members. They represented what it means to be a DC. This is not common in the world of the ordinary. They demonstrated this very early in their lives. This was not an add-on after they became successful and wealthy. He was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Years ago, we played softball together, and even though we weren’t besties, he was always there for us. He established a charity in MA, so homeless people could access Chiropractic care. Thousands of people over the years got a leg up on life with the healing, caring hands of the volunteer Chiropractors. He and his wife also showed up in person when our beloved first Akita, Kuma, was lost. Imagine showing up in person (not Zoom) to help search for the lost canine. They even purchased their own Akita.

Look inside your heart and ask yourself, is the world wearing you down, domesticating you, or making you dutiful instead of magnificent? It’s easy to get sucked into the world of the ordinary. It can be so insidious and gradual that you barely recognize it. We saw this with covid as dozens of DCs grinning for public approval showed their red badge of courage, infecting themselves and their kids with the holy water. It takes courage not to fight or resist public or socially endorsed concepts, especially health. It also takes courage not to accept, give up, or look the other way. As my mentor used to say, “You are either part of the problem or part of the solution."

To blend is not to fight against or resist, nor is it to accept, give up, and meekly say that’s the way it is. You can’t fight city hall; you’ve got to give to get along, etc. When you blend, you realize you have a choice, but it takes courage, persistence, and love to keep on the path. You don’t have to argue or convince others about your path. You don’t have to make others wrong with their beliefs; you can still introduce them to solutions they don’t understand or comprehend. If you don’t learn how to emphasize blending in your life, you too will be swept away with the social media-fueled life of the ordinary.

Miracle Training

One of the most hidden parts of living in a Western culture like ours is what a person will do when the 4 Ds (death, divorce, disease, depression) knock unannounced at their door. The average person meekly accepts what society deems good and natural and follows it to the letter. People expect to recover or at least cover up the pain of a headache, but not a concussion. Our country is an expert in creating war but not in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder. This type of cancer is curable, but not this type. Is this true? Or is this what society is offering on its menu/agenda? Either people are going to have something shoved down their throats that will kill them, or they are going to have to go off the menu into the unknown. Meeting them in the unknown will be a host of bandits of profit, charlatans, new-age con artists, etc. In the unknown, the unconventional will also be the solution. Most people will defer to the familiar of what everyone does in similar circumstances and look on the internet for supposed solutions.

DCME Confidential

Question 1: A potential DCME says they would be in if it weren’t for the money. Can I offer them a reduced fee or scholarship?

Answer: No. In some instances, like the short-term ‘my back, my back,’ you can make an argument for this. You are assuming responsibility for the client, which will end badly for both of you if you give in.

Question 2: A DCME patient has paid me, and I think everything will be great, but it isn’t. It seems like the problems are just beginning. What should I do?

Answer: Welcome to DCME. The entrance fee is indicative of entering into a relationship only: it’s not a guarantee of getting their best effort or the outcome of the relationship. It’s potential energy, not kinetic energy.
