DCME Training Is Right Around The Corner!
To everyone reading this: 2024 will be the single best year of your practice. Some will earn 3-5x what they earned just last year. This economic boom will not be based on BSOs, marketing techniques of selling whatever is hot, accepted, common, deception, etc. It will be based on bringing health to a society that doesn’t value it until it’s lost and then looks for it in all the wrong places. Nobody else will if you don’t recognize and stand tall in your worth. By not recognizing your worth, not training, and giving in to practice members, you permit people to treat you according to what they know about Chiropractic. How long are you going to wear that chain around your neck? The discerning individual can see through the shields and policies that medical, pharmaceutical, and government hide behind, and people mindlessly accept. Get off your knees and stop groveling for crumbs; stand up and realize the crumbs come from warm, freshly baked bread. Medical care is strictly a cash grab. A case in point is the VA in the US. Soldiers risked everything and returned with varied mental, emotional, and physical wounds that would haunt them for the rest of their lives. They had no conditions, no policy clauses, no ifs, buts or ands on their end, yet the government rewards these brave warriors with delays, paperwork, exclusions, totally ineffective treatment, and closed minds towards anything that does work. People will pay out of their pockets for once-in-a-lifetime care. They always have, and they always will. If you only do what all DCs do (my back, my back), then you are expendable and lowly valued. Kenny Has Some Items To Sell
Every few years, Kenny makes artifacts with his own hands. Most of them are one-of-a-kind items that you will proudly keep for a lifetime. Those of you who have stayed at the Pallis Ranch have seen them throughout our house. It’s been many years since our last opportunity to purchase his artifacts. Proceeds of the sale always benefit the kids on the Reservation, materials he needs for programs, resources not found on the Reservation, etc. As soon as we have pictures, we will share them with you.

Today is the era of a marked disdain for wisdom (as differentiated from data or information), and depth of experience abounds. People not in the know crave entertainment, not the truth or anything remotely resembling it. They still play games (gaming), and it’s a central focus of their lives. At one time, building blocks or legos were a central theme in your lives. I hope you have grown up. Remember, TNR is always for the few and not the many. This societal immaturity goes unnoticed until you ask for a commitment from a practice member, spouse, kid, or friend. Then you realize immature people want fun, entertainment, and good times. They did not have an elder or parent who stood before them in truth as the boy/girl became a man/woman. They can’t be trusted as they have not been mentored, initiated, or passed through a rite of passage of anything besides TikTok. They lack the necessary toughness, friction, and grit to make a stand. They start things only not to finish them as they peter out and fizzle. Once young, daring, and debonair, they are now mere husks of an adult that roam the earth inhabiting big kid bodies, yet still are adolescents. The coal has not been pressurized into a diamond. The grain of sand has not been pulverized into a pearl. They go along with the flow, anticipating the next party or opportunity to sponge, gaze at the computer, and do anything to assuage their pain, emptiness, and ‘is that all there is to life?’ Only time and the 4 Ds will expose them; they are okay with that because they can fool the many. They always cut corners and take the easy way out.
At my mother’s funeral, a couple of young people exclaimed they had created their own businesses. Wow! This sounds so good, like a proclamation saying they are different, a type of verbal tattoo that bespeaks their differences. They spoke of what they do as if that mattered. It matters little what you do. It’s who you are and what you stand for. There are thousands upon thousands of underemployed DCs/NDs, etc. Yes, they know what they do, but not who they are. They are not qualified for the success they say they want. Their schools lied to them. What principles of success have you taken in or earned? I am just amused when I hear people thinking they have done something without doing something. The x,y,z or the thing you do is not what sets you apart. It’s the principles of success, your communication skills, and your open-mindedness to ideas completely contrary to the world of ordinary/appearance.
Having a business baking cookies (this can be x,y,z) is not a business. The principles are the foundation, the why behind what you do, and what guides you (yourself, the internet, TikTok). Are you merely following a tired/false blueprint that will cost you hundreds of thousands in debt alone, where your income will be unable to catch up with the runaway train of debt? Your assassins are much closer than your enemies. This means the people who oppose or resist your efforts are spouses, family, and friends who are small-thinking, opposed to risk and opportunity, and secretly hope you tank so they can tell you I told you so.
Thank You For Your Words Of Sympathy
Thank you for all of your words of love with cards, flowers, candy, etc., for the loss of my mother. It made a world of difference. Your offerings comforted me and my wife. There is such a humanitarian vibe to TNR. When one of us is suffering, we are all connected via the thread of our compassion.
At a recent Head-to-Head, the doctor was not surprised by the new metaphors and the different ways I conveyed complex concepts. She said that she traveled to new galaxies, and every time “you take all of your wisdom and distill it down just for me. It’s like I’m the only one. I feel such a blessed sense of welcoming, belonging, that I matter and I have much more worth than people in my world give me credit for.” I know what she is talking about; it’s how I felt with my mentor, Dr. Joe.

Question 1: What does it mean if you can’t sleep the night before your DCME Report of Findings?
Answer: It means there is a gap between what you think you’re worth and what people are willing to pay. You are allowing people to put a price on your head without your input. It’s the result of decades of people pleasing, looking for acceptance at the cost of your worth. You get angry, jealous, raging, and yet, oops, I did it again!
Question 2: Why don’t more people become specialized and only accept DCME/Level 2 cases?
Answer: It’s overwhelming, daunting, and seems impossible. Yet we have a shining example of a doctor who does only Level 2 with no exceptions. Her life is lived as a warrior. She has a responsibility to and for people that is not reciprocated; it matters not to her. Sure, it hurts and creates much sorrow in her life, but she is guided by a big vision, a way of life others don’t understand. It is adventurous, and there is always tension between her upbringing and the world of being a rescue dog. Some of her largest detractors want her to return to where she came from, and then she will be accepted and liked. She refuses and teaches her spouse and children a way of life that is worth living.
