TNR Happs

DCME this Saturday!!

You still have time to get your ticket! Kenny Smoker will be in the house for an exciting hour long presentation on Saturday! It’s been 8 years since we had Kenny Smoker at a seminar! Plus a special mystery guest will be presenting her life-altering experiences of being a practice member of the Pallis Chiropractic Center. This was a real life DCME before DCMEs were popularized in TNR. The missing pieces will be found at this seminar that prevents you from doing DCMEs on a regular basis. The location will be at Taylor Family Chiropractic in Medway, MA. We have a brand new workbook and with the private school setting, you will receive all of the attention you need to move you from where you are to where you want to be! There will be an after-party at the Pallis Ranch on Saturday evening.

This is my doctor!!

Here is a very practical idea you can implement instantly in any office. Have a Love Has No Color wall in a very conspicuous area in your office. Some members have even used the caption, “This is my doctor”, at the top. Then put up Love Has No Color pictures, letters from Kenny Smoker, a fundraiser thermometer, tee-pees, etc. Social cause is inextricably woven in the lives of Millennials and Gen X’s. It’s about time! Even if you haven’t personally been to the reservation, the pictures still do the job. They will get excited about you, your office, and LHNC! The world of business always rails about the USP (unique selling proposition), as if helping people towards health was not enough. This lets all current and new people know this is what my doctor is all about. "If they are doing so much for kids on a reservation, imagine the care my kids will receive!" There is a trust established that no amount of clinical results can produce. It’s so much bigger than symptom relief, but you have to initiate the movement in your office since no one will do it for you. Get your practice members involved. We’ve only got 3 weeks left in our fundraiser!  (July 31)

Dr. Kevin was interviewed about LHNC for a radio show

Dr. Stephanie Mills, a super successful DC from New Hampshire and a  long time TNR and LHNC supporter, interviewed Dr. Kevin for her radio show on WEMJ 107.3 and WJPL 107.7 on Monday, July 9th. Keep your eyes peeled for an archive of the recording on the LHNC website or on social media. She is a former Ms. America and brought Miss America Cara Mundy to the reservation a few months ago. Her daughter, Brooke, is also a huge LHNC supporter and has been on the reservation multiple times, including when Miss America spoke to the kids on the Fort Peck Reservation. Crossroads Chiropractic has 3 locations in NH and is collecting backpacks this year.

While on vacation…

You really get a chance to gain introspection into the world of Chiropractic. At a July 4th celebration listening to people, Chiropractic came up quite often with lots of Chiropractors and practice members in attendance. Most DCs outside of TNR practice a rather limited type of Chiropractic. It usually comes down to aches and pains and doesn’t include much wellness, full fees, kids, and DCMEs. The world still needs plenty of pain relief people, but with an increased TNR-style training and mindset, it opens a whole new vista of possibilities.

If your office is being lumped in with other pain relief offices in your community, it’s time to stand out from the crowd. It’s simply too sophomoric to think that you are merely removing interference from the brain/nerve system pipeline. It’s much more holographic than that. How do women with menstrual cycles tend to equilibrate when living in close proximity. There is a source or a higher power that you allow each and every person to connect to with each adjustment. Limiting this to pain relief only is pornifying the principle. Sure, pain relief is fine, but it does not establish health. How can it?

DC's may not be as socially accepted as a traditional MD but this does not point to a lack of ability or training but rather people are fixated on their prior belief of disease. When you are truly in a category of one, you will see all kinds of people. Not all of them will be into wellness, but you will receive full fees, inside or outside of insurance. Many of these people will be DCMEs, kids, wellness, etc. Once that identity spreads around your community, there will be fewer mismatches in your office. It will be rare to see the ones that come in for only an adjustment or two.

Have you ever wondered why school buses don’t have seat belts for the kids?

But they do for the driver. This is a common example of paradigm blindness. With all the technology and information available, nobody seems to notice…or to care! Is this thinking protecting the kids? Don’t buy into it when it comes to your own kids or practice members. There is so much social programming when it comes to raising kids and to be truly different. It takes a special type of person not to talk big in their offices, only to MEOWW when the cannon is pointed at you. It takes true strength to demonstrate courage and integrity in the world of social consensus and social media.

Love Has No Color Fundraising news!

What kinds of fundraising are you doing? More and more DCs are really feeling it when it comes to raising money for the kids with unique, one-off ways of making sure this year’s efforts are the best ever! With a hot dog sale, a customized jewelry sale, candy sales, yard sales...online and offline, it’s happening! Let your personality shine with your fundraising. Don’t be shy when it comes to promoting. Other charities and movements are based on a business model where LHNC is based on a humanitarian model. All of our donations, efforts, time, and manpower go to the kids to bring about brighter futures!

Miyagi thought of the week

There are many easier and more socially accepted paths to follow in the world of Chiropractic. The question is and always will be: Will you allow those who don’t know what Chiropractic really is to determine and decide for you who to be or will you fiercely and proudly protect, communicate, and educate our true purpose. Make a stand or take a fall.

DCME news

One of our members had a practice member come in that had the deer in the headlights look when they received their Report of Findings. The practice member had a chronic 10-year problem that they thought would resolve in a few visits. They demanded their digital x-rays be sent to another office (CHEAPER and MORE CONVENIENT) only to find insufficient results; funds were not the limiting factor. Then the practice member returned and pre-paid for 4 months of care. They will undoubtedly receive great results and will make the decision to continue with some sort of wellness or corrective care instead of waiting another 10 years! Trust in your abilities to deliver out of this world results. People that won’t commit have a choice to make: go without these results or commit to the process.

School supplies donated to the Reservation

A friend of Dr. Kevin put him in contact with Dave Smith and the Kids in Need Foundation. The Kids In Need Foundation’s mission is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need. The Kids in Need Foundation has donated 25 Yoobi Classroom Packs to the Fort Peck Reservation. These 25 Classroom Packs, which weigh 673 pounds, will be delivered to the Reservation on Wednesday, July 11th. A HUGE THANK YOU GOES OUT TO THE KIDS IN NEED FOUNDATION!!!
