LHNC Fundraising closes this week!

Thank you for yet another wonderful year of raising the funds necessary to further our vision on the reservation. Sustainability is the fuel that all 501(c)(3) endeavors run on. No sustainability, nothing gets done, no matter how noble the cause may be. Our fundraising happens during the summer and the gift drive is in the fall/winter. As many of you are aware, most non-profit groups have bloated overheads, high paid CEO’s, administration and staffing fees and the latest statistics state that about 10 cents on every dollar actually finds its intended purpose. We have no paid employees or consultants. Just a bunch of kick ass volunteers. We are anticipating over 1,000 back packs stuffed with school supplies, and high quality non-perishable foods for 300-350 families. We have some last minute items to purchase so if all offices can remit their fundraising amounts, it would be greatly appreciated.

Fun Day/Boot Camp next week!

It’s finally here! Well almost. We have almost 97% of all participants accounted for. With such a large group this year, it’s important that everyone stays with the group. Make it a point to meet everyone in our group. Lots of incredible people and they are not all DCs. Guests, students, kids, and even pro hockey players. With DC2B’s its so important to take them under your wing, help with their adjusting skills, get to know them and invite them to your office. We are still asking for portable adjusting tables for our Fun Day in Wolf Point and our exciting journey to the jail. It’s also important to keep hydrated the whole trip. Very hot, dry air, lots of activity and excitement, you will lose fluid.

Let’s show these kids that LHNC knows how to throw a party and show them our best! It’s our 10 year anniversary and thank you to all who made this possible. Special thanks to Dr. Sabrina Chen-See for her wonderful organization and supervision abilities.

Practice Tip of the Week

A disturbing trend happening outside of our group is the putting of practice members on reduced fees before they completed their full fee, condition based care. Some of our newer members have been tempted to copy other management groups that espouse gym memberships. Being a DC is a different model than being a gym owner. Last time I checked, there is a little matter of going to school for 7-9 years to get a Chiropractic degree. Remember, this strategy to get them in at all costs is simply a way of not facing the inevitable, you need more personal power and a deeper belief system to command doctor fees. The Well Patient Fee System is implemented only after full fees (inside or outside of insurance) has been met. Don’t cave on your fees or recommendations!

TNR Seminar/Mastermind August 19-20th

With the summer days getting shorter, it signals our upcoming seminar in Atlanta that’s less than a month away.  Topics to include, Seeing Lots More Kids, Do Your Procedures Need Upgrading, Real Fees, Not Gym Memberships, Insurance or Cash, What Really Prevents DCs From Becoming Once in a Lifetime DCs, LHNC Fun Day and Video Updates, and some amazing experimental events. All of these seminars and events build on each other. There is no beginning and no end, just fuel for your tank. It’s time to introduce a colleague or friend to TNR. Speaking around the country, one thing for sure is TNR offices are rare, because it takes a special type of DC with a big vision, humanitarian to the core and more than okay with living a great lifestyle. So many other DCs are willing to accept smallness, mediocrity and not being all in.

Many are great DCs, they just don’t have the support and guidance to have practices that reflect this talent. Remember, that there is only choice, not sacrifice. Being a once in a lifetime DC is a choice, so isn’t the training necessary to achieve and continually improve?  No shortcuts, virtual or otherwise. No matter how necessary they are, they won’t charge your Chiropractic battery. Kind of like Navy Seal training, it’s separate and distinct. Many DCs say it keeps their sanity. DCs with serious issues inside and outside the office don’t get the connection between training and keeping good things in your life, while discarding the bad.

There is a block of rooms at the Hilton for the August 19-20th seminar for discounted rate, only valid through today so call to book (770)-427-2500
