Serving the world with your awakened heart
When I was reading Dr. Barbara DeAngelis’s book, “The Choice for Love”, I was blown away by how she was able to articulate an idea that so many find difficult, unpopular, or not available on YouTube. She is also probably the only New York Times bestseller author that actually understands the Native American genocide. Having a higher resonation than most can create problems when you attempt to explain your truth which comes from a different vantage point than a lower resonating person. Speaking health in the land of disease is one of the most difficult forms of paradigm blindness. Most people are not interested in increasing their resonation and chose only to toil in their daily drudgery. In days gone by, I would travel anywhere and everywhere to sit at the feet of the only real live genius that I’ve ever personally known. People who either didn’t see how being around such a high resonating person (Dr. Joe Flesia) would benefit them or didn't feel the need to do so, thought my travels were a mixture of obsession, delusion, a waste of time and money, etc.
Quite the contrary, for history is very clear on the subject when it describes people of high resonation from sages, to saints and religious figures. We are drawn to such people because they inspire us to reach higher because they transcended from ordinary citizen status and did something extraordinary (not in the world of business usually, but in the arena of humanity.) What they left continues long after their passing. It unites all people, just not the lucky or the chosen. What they brought to the world was not more information. Information, in and of itself, is okay as far as it can take the intellect. The head can only do so much in the dimension of the intellect. It’s the heart or the higher resonation that actually evolves society, even though when they are doing it, they will encounter much resistance from lower resonating people.
Where are these visionaries in our profession? The next Dr. Guy Reikeman? Reggie? Siggie? Did you ever notice that they never spoke of their technique or insurance coverage? They spoke instead of humanity and the big idea, not how to remove symptoms to the end of being a shallow financial success. Did you ever see Dr. Guy chronicling his life on social media? Professionally, yes, privately no. He is not looking for consensus or your opinion. His vision and talent are a matter of history, not opinions. They don’t increase their resonations to brag or show off but to demonstrate that they don’t have anything on anybody. Read about MLK, Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela in their early years. They seem quite ordinary, in some cases almost backward. This same journey is available to everyone. Just being in proximity to these people raises our vibration, resonation, or our field of consciousness. With a higher resonation or an awakened heart, the things that were so important to us when we resonated at a lower level just don’t interest us or rob us of our personal power. We stop worrying about things that we can’t change.
Each time we assemble in a collective consciousness in a training session, seminar, TNR event or whatever you wish to call it, something happens to your consciousness. When
we are in the presence of people of high vibration, it recalibrates us in the moment, lifting our individual and collective consciousness and allows us to become the best version of ourselves. It allows us to do great things in all areas of our life. I received a handwritten thank you card from a TNR member.
Dr. Kevin,
How could I ever express all my thanks for your mentorship over the years and all the care that you’ve bestowed on me…I have been truly blessed to have you in my life. It is nearly impossible to say how much I value you and all you’ve taught me. Thank you for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself and for always being honest with me. Very few people are blessed with the uncomfortable truths that can lead them to true growth. Because of you, I’ve grown into someone I can respect and be proud of.
With all my heart, thank you
We carry this vibration with us in our own communities, as well as on the reservation, and it shows. Kenny speaks of our group as a bunch of special ops commandos. What would take weeks to months to do (if ever) gets done in a matter of a few days. When we have an awakened heart or awareness, we have additional responsibilities for others. Mainly, we have more of a connection and we are more in their service than they are to us, even when they don’t believe we can help them or see the need for help. We see this daily in our practices when the very people we serve sometimes throw stones at us for the crime of helping them.
We got a communication on social media from a well-meaning, but obviously low resonating, individual that commented that the LHNC greenhouse we are putting up won’t be able to feed all the residents. No kidding! The first adjustment in your offices did not instantly transform your community. The first school desegregated. First Indian Boarding school that was closed for its savage ways. The first kind thing you did, didn’t transform the world that instant! But it was a huge start…and it’s only getting bigger and better!
Naysayers are everywhere and they wear you down if you don’t protect your hard earned resonation. Like a muscle, you either constantly work it or it atrophies. Everyone thinks that their current level will automatically grow. It can’t and it won’t. Your resonation, personal power, awakened heart, compassion, and connection to others is what allows you the unique ability to help people where others can’t or won't.
Here is a passage from the same book talking about the concept of ‘one drop at a time’:
Think in big ways and serve in small ways.
Everything you do does count.
Just because it doesn’t fix everything doesn’t mean it didn’t do something.
When you bring big love to small acts of caring, compassion, and service, those acts become enormous.
I wonder if she is referring to Love Has No Color, TNR, marriage, parenting, being a once-in-a-lifetime DC, or a great friend? The world has enough good DCs. Good enough gets in the way of serving the world at the highest level.
2018 LHNC Fundraiser is on, on, on
There are all kinds of unique ways to raise funds for this year's Fun Day/Boot Camp. Use the incredible powers of connection on your social media and your practice member's social media to help. We have a 6-year-old kid who has raised over $300 so far with gofundme for LHNC. Of particular note, he also requested a song on the setlist for Don’t Quit Your Day Job: Smoke on the water by Deep Purple. For DCME cases, just peel off 5-10% to donate to LHNC and your practice member will receive a signed certificate from LHNC and your office.
You could put a copy up on your LHNC wall, as well. Practice members will love seeing their certificates up on your wall. New patient fundraising never goes out of style. Some describe this time of year as Christmas in August. Some members making donations in their office name, in their family’s name, or both. Ask for donations from practice members who can make the decisions in their business as we don’t have time for bureaucracy, governing boards, stalling tactics, etc. The kids have waited for hundreds of years for this opportunity, we will make it happen.
Practice tip of the week
Lessons in marketing from a year one member, Dr. Dave Ridos. He is currently practicing in Norway. A high-level collegiate Div 1 hockey player himself, he went to the local youth hockey and volunteered to be their DC. They didn’t know him and they didn’t respond to his offer. Then he volunteered to help the kids as a coach. Now he can’t keep them or the parents out of his office. The point is SERVICE. Now you can’t coach every hockey team, or join every club or religious group, but you can start with doing one thing through service instead of looking for something in return. Being in service to others is a
sure-fire way of helping people and they take notice. They respond to your actions, not so much your words. They get to see you in action, live and in person. This is a very powerful combination. Do other things of course, but you will receive so much from serving the next generation.
DCME seminar news
The early bird special for tickets to the July 14th event is almost over. Having the courage and the ability to produce results distinguishes you from being a face-in-the-crowd DC. Dr. Sabrina recently had a 17-year-old inpatient DCME that was going to be permanently incarcerated in an adult mental health institution. He has been downgraded and released from the system to voluntary status. What type of DC takes on those cases is the type of DC we train in TNR. We don’t graduate ready for DCMEs. We don’t practice a specific number of years and then we’re ready. DCME is reserved for the top 1% of DCs on the planet. It’s a mindset with the communication skills and the mental toughness to keep on the path, regardless of the disparaging comments you will receive along the way. It’s so much more than clinical ability or technique. When you embark on this journey, you are going against the collective consciousness of limitation of not only what society believes you to be, but your own brothers and sisters.
