Miyagi Seminar is very close!
Ask yourself what do your spouse or parents really think about Chiropractic? Not that it should matter, but it does. They represent what society thinks of DCs in general. We sometimes get lost in the practice of Chiropractic, you know, the doing, the administration, insurance billing, and CA training. This causes us to invisibly get worn down and lose the inner mindset needed to continue to grow, be ultra-successful, and think differently than 99% of society.
Beliefs that you developed later in life are particularly vulnerable over time. Your beliefs in Chiropractic are among them. You were probably brought up in the disease model…don’t lose sight of that fact. Most of our readers had medical procedures done during childhood that you have opted out of for your own children. Even though they are hidden and not consciously visible to you, they are still present and they limit and restrict you at every turn. You could be married to a spouse that may believe up to a point in your views about health, but when push comes to shove, sparks will fly. If we look outside of TNR into our great profession, we will see many DCs that just don’t have the beliefs they once had. How many DCs even choose to see kids? It’s not that kids’ spines are harder (they are actually easier), it’s the resistance that goes along with it. As a result of their beliefs fading away, it’s easy for them to become lost or to float; then they lower their expectations and stop living for a cause bigger than them self. It’s easy for them to lose their spirit while dealing with a public that is hell bent on keeping their disease model, only using ‘tic’ when all else fails and usually for limited symptom relief.
Miyagi is a continual answer for the astute member that realizes that it is easy to cool your Navy Seal type beliefs about health by just being with non-believers like in-laws, teachers, and parishioners. Don’t let your beliefs erode into the more popular, domesticated (pussified) beliefs. There is no room to be neutral about the far reaching effects of continued Chiropractic care. Healthier People = Healthier Planet is merely a cutesy slogan without a freedom fighter belief behind it. Is Chiropractic a neat way to earn a living or is it a lifestyle? Remember, it doesn’t have anything to do with technique. We have had all kinds of non-DCs attend, from life coaches to NDs, and they all get what they came for! Get your ticket and personalized, one-on-one attention like you’ve never had!
What Chiropractic publications do you read?
One of the tasks of keeping members in the know about a once-in-a-lifetime, Navy Seal type of training is that you have to be open to it. Everything you take in online and offline either strengthens or weakens your newfound beliefs. No matter how enticing or seductive earning 3,5,10x the income of other DCs is, you still have to do the work to earn the privilege. With that four letter word (work), the wheels fall off the wagon with many not willing to put forth the effort. All around us there are slick advertisers who whisper sweet nothings in our ears that tell us there are indeed simple answers to complex solutions with no effort to upgrade our subconscious beliefs.
I looked through a ‘Chiropractic’ magazine and this is what I saw: weight loss, decompression, protein and exercise drinks, essential oils, body sculpting, how to get referrals from MVAs from attorneys and MDs (those familiar with the concept colonization are wearing a grin on their faces right about now), and a whole lot more of BSOs. All of these things have been around in some shape, way, or form for decades. There is nothing wrong with any of these. However, if you ask any DC if they would like to see more practice members, earn more income, see more difficult cases, and have children grow up healthy, many would say yes; and like a lot of things in life, they are looking for easier ways out of their predicament.
This may sound crazy to the uninitiated, but if you program yourself with lower resonation material, it erodes your beliefs. It’s so invisible you don’t feel it happening. You will get off track and off focus and you will start to dwell on Below the Line things like war, disease, politics, and the like. Your spouse may or may not notice the irritability, the lack of smiles, and the silent resentment and regret you develop for people. You lose the gratefulness for what you have, like the beauty of the people and things around you. When someone asks you to have a Relay for Life fundraiser online or offline in your office, what will you do? When your head is on straight, you don’t have to make a person wrong, but you can disagree with them. Fighting against war and disease is not the same thing as being for peace and health. Most people can’t hear you and what you don’t support, they will take it as an attack on them.
My mentor, Dr. Joe Flesia, would always remind me that when my heart and my spirit were in the right place (and my head was out of a certain sphincter) I just didn’t see those distractions and all that noise. From hanging out with DCs, to reading material, it was all about being successful and building a deeper depth in belief. It was, and is, never looking for an easier way. So what if the guy down the street had a MD, RN, or PTs working for him. That’s his business. Back then it was the Chiropractic Journal newspaper and now it is all of the ads we see online today. Different medium, same loud shrieking voices all announcing plan Bs, things to fall back on in case you aren’t successful helping people achieve their health goals.
There are over a thousand hours of writing, videos, podcasts, blogs, etc. that are available on the TNR website. Pour over them a few items each day. You will laugh and cry, but you will not lose your fire. Feed that inner burning, that desire that is all so rare today. Be that once-in-a-lifetime DC and don’t apologize to anyone for your ambition or vision. Don’t ask non-believers for permission either. You’ve got to seize it and keep it ignited. Like Bono croons in his iconic song, One, “Leaves you baby if you don’t care for it”.
DCME news
Dr. Lisa is in range of purchasing her 10th 21-Day DCME Video Program for her practice members. Below is a peek inside the chat room of a DCME. Hear what her practice members think of the opportunity they have been given!
“Good morning!! Day 7 of the program. Although it feels like it’s a lot to take in and I’m trying to stay on top of things, I’m excited!! I’m so bought into this and am so excited about all the changes! Thank you so much for fighting for me and everything I am. Thank you for seeing things in me that I don’t always see! I’m so grateful that you hold me to task and push me beyond what I think I can do. I’m so grateful to have found you. I’m looking forward to my intensive training and to the time where I can stand next to you in this “fight” for healthy lives. I believe it will come fast. Love you so much! Have an amazing day!! ”
If you have any doubts about this DCME program, call her. The depth of relationships with her practice members on the program is seismic. Think of the 21-Day DCME Video Program as the bridge between their beliefs in disease and their newfound beliefs in health. The DCME program addresses the non-linear, the non-physical. The adjustment will not do this for them. This will not create a new subconscious belief. How many great disease results (pain relief, symptom relief) have you witnessed in your office only to see the patient leave and tell you they will be back in case they need you again? Now there is nothing wrong with symptomatic relief, i’ts only a part of regaining your health…it’s not health! One of the great side benefits of this program are referrals. When a DCME practice member refers in someone they care about they almost always insist on the 2nd level of care, complete with their own copy of DCME!
Taylor Family Chiropractic turns 1!

TNR members sure know how to throw a great party! While speaking with their guests, a common theme was the sense of community they felt in the office and how both Dr. Christy and Dr. Cliff went the extra mile for them. At the party were so many patients from all walks of life and with every type of disease or syndrome, as well as lots of people on their way to lifetime wellness. Plus, there were lots of pregnant moms and little kids running around the place!
Love Has No Color news
The dates for Boot Camp have been announced: August 9th to the 11th. As we ramp up for our LHNC fundraising for 2018, its time to take a bow and be recognized for all of the good we do as TNR members. For decades TNR has been all about gathering DCs that are not only hungry for more economic growth, but with helping people and sharing our worldview. As crazy as it may sound to others, it can’t be only about that person on your table. We are better than that. We are all one people and we are all connected, whether we choose to acknowledge or deny that fact.
A bad day for us may be when one of our children may be a little under the weather, we didn’t see enough new patients this week, the collections were a little off, an insurance adjuster called us up to hassle us a bit, or we got a bi#&* online review. Kids on the reservation face real life challenges daily, ranging from lack of food and clothing, crime, no parents, domestic violence, sexual predation, and even heat during the brutal winters.
A great idea whose time has come: Bring VIP practice members with you this year to Boot Camp. Recognize them in a way no other doctors in your community do. Let them be a part of it all. It’s not limited to adults either. So many kids and teens in your office need to be a part of something bigger than just going to school and playing sports. There are so many levels of participation from attending Boot Camp, pre-pays get a certificate from LHNC (you can also put these on your walls), to fundraising and gift giving. Let them be a huge part of the LHNC community. There is no adventure like being in service to people in need.
You can also choose to have another DC travel to the reservation. A college friend, a community person, a relative, we have seen them all. Some of our members actually joined TNR after attending Boot Camp and wanting to be part of the family.
Have you seen these kids?
Check out the full article here!
These kids are real and they are in every one of our offices. Read the article carefully and understand the key components of being abandoned by fathers (or mothers). It’s biological and physical evidence that should have you salivating as to your usefulness in society. Ask yourself how much profit there would be in a drug or operation if it could restore the shortened telomere’s length. Look closely at the cure in the authors mind: some type of therapy or big brother presence in their lives. It should be the battle cry for DCME offices. Imagine having an event in your office and inviting in people involved in the world of at-risk teenagers and kids. Explain the concentric circles and the Baseline Assessment and they will piece it together! No other doctor can have the effect on these kids that you can have!
