Your Weekly TNR Pulse!

Tribe Meeting/MasterMind this weekend in Atlanta!

You will receive your quarterly infusion of community, purpose, training and helping kids rediscover health, hope and dignity on and off reservations at MasterMind and the Quarterly Seminar this weekend.  We have received so much new intel from the year one DCs starting their empires in TNR. They have met so many DCs in their communities and there seems to be a common theme: the other DCs have lost their purpose, their MOJO, and their connection to people. The world has worn down the once spirited DCs who started out wanting to change the world. They have stayed isolated within the Chiropractic world and now there is a big contrast between them and the ambitious, enthusiastic new practitioners. The paradigm of health will not change itself, it needs the square root of 1% DCs willing to do the work.

These older DCs keep telling the year one DCs about all the PROBLEMS with practicing: from lack of financing, insurance problems, and EHR compliance woes, to selling Doterra (essential oils), weight loss powder, and magical stickers (Miyagi attendees are laughing). They mention very little about the SOLUTIONS.  The solution starts with making a counterintuitive decision to be a part of something bigger than yourself.  It also means getting the training and confidence to tackle cases most DCs run from.  The rule of the  business model (the world view) believes that as long as you win out, the heck with anybody else.  Under the humanitarian model, everybody wins.  This model believes in extraordinary income and clinical results for DCs who just love being once in a lifetime DCs.

Do you have any last minute guests that you would like to bring to the TNR Quarterly Seminar? Remember, you will receive a free month of coaching for every person that you refer to TNR that signs up! And the number that you get credit for is unlimited!!!

2017 LHNC Fundaising news

We have gotten a better start this year than last year. A good start is essential to reach our goal of $150,000 this year. We are focusing on a new roof for movie theater/clinic, building an outdoor street hockey rink, doing home repairs, handing out back packs with school supplies, and delivering non-perishable, high quality food. A last minute rush won’t get us to our goal. Get your PMs involved. If you need any pictures, articles, video footage, etc. from TNR, just ask. Getting the word out on social media takes repetition and you need to make it engaging and fun. Some enterprising offices are working to take VIP PMs on the trip with them. DCMEs would find it out of this world!  We should be receiving word any time now about our accommodations (25 rooms at the Homestead) being comped by the Tribal Council…yeahh!  Keep your fingers crossed.

Practice tip of the week

Don’t argue, prove or try to convince your PMs. One of the habits that has to be dropped once and for all is attempting to change the minds of non-believers. This simply can’t be done. Go the extra mile, but don’t get caught in the trap of attempting to prove to people who refuse to change their minds about Chiropractic. Showing research article after article will not get the job done. Cutting corners and fees, skipping deductibles or co-pays, and not charging kids will not change the paradigm of health for people. Letting people dictate what Chiropractic is good for is never a good idea. Never believe that the size of a problem will make for a great PM. Many parents of kids with known illnesses or challenges are quite content with their circumstances and see no problems with having their kids on huge numbers of medications. Get the parents that are searching for a better way. They might not have an understanding at the beginning, but they will have a willingness to receive help only.

Don’t Quit Your Day Job set list to be released

Do you have a song that you would like to add? Do you want to come up with the band and sing or dance? No, Dr. Sabrina, we are not going to be able to play Frozen. It takes an orchestra to play tunes like that. Last year we had over 15 singers and dancers on stage at various times, especially during the prison concert. Maybe you can petition the set list committee with a video you would put on social media talking about LHNC fundraising efforts. We have had donation pledges (bribes?) for the band to sing specific songs. The band has a limited repertoire which is heavy with old, outdated songs that don’t put too much emphasis on vocal skills! Ha ha.

Drs. Randi Jo and Marc to be married next month

Drs. Randi Jo and Marc graduated, got their licenses, have built-out a beautiful office in Exeter, NH, are opening their office next week, and are getting married on June 17th!  All in a matter of a few months! This may perhaps seem crazy for other people, but it is all in the scope of TNR docs.  Give them a shout out on social media.  You can reach them under #Marcshaveyourbeard.
