TNR Happenings 5.9

Miyagi Is This Weekend!

Will this be the last TNR training to be held at 521 Walpole Street? We should know soon. There are lots of surprises awaiting all participants. Remember: there is only the NOW. I’ve heard persistent rumors that escapees from the iron curtain will be here in force. See you there!

You’re In Good Hands

No matter how many years you have been a doctor, healer, or whatever, the things that get the job done are unheard of, timeless principles and concepts of living a life with purpose and meaning and giving your best. These will take you from where you are to where you want to be. The paradox is these concepts are available and accessible to all and yet, who will do the work? Who will accept guidance and embrace that they are overestimating their own abilities and underestimating what it will take to accomplish the task at hand? Only a precious few people are looking for a container to harness their skills and abilities not recognized by the world of ordinary affairs. I had the privilege of having a Sacred Healing Experience with a member of Heartland. This 35-year-old has been bathed in Dr. Lisa’s healing, teaching, and Heartland community. He endured 12-14 hour days with me for 3 days and stood out to me because of his open mind and indoctrination from Heartland for four months. It really does make a huge difference.

Belief systems, personal power, the world of ordinary affairs, the world of essence, rescue dog mentality, the tip of the iceberg, no simple solutions to complex problems, and past history are sacred principles that just won’t let anybody down. They take ANYONE from where they are to where they want to be. Without these foundational principles, it’s so easy to get lost, even with letters next to your name. Knowing and practicing these principles is timeless, powerful, and gives you an advantage that few people you will ever meet have. These concepts are not for the many, they are reserved for the few. The few serve others, don’t need to foist or mandate their views, and don’t look down on people who don’t understand these principles. Healing is a lot more than only curing; it’s equipping people with compasses that allow them to have a direction in a directionless world.

Mark Your Calendars For Boot Camp/Fun Days 2022

August 11th, 12th, and 13th are only 3 months away! Plan to join us on the Reservation to help out kids living in third-world conditions right here in the US. Don’t let the dates creep up on you as family activities are at a premium in the summer. For 18 years I have said: don’t be like the world of ordinary affairs (the world of appearance) and say I’ll go next year. Like my kids used to say: later means never. Be there!

From the Mind of Miyagi

Don’t overestimate the power of a curious open mind. Without it, you will experience the perilous consequences of going through life with a mind that has been permanently cemented shut by your upbringing and past history. It simply will not be open to accepting opportunity, doing continuous work, accepting risk and consequences, training and reading, or doing what is necessary to live a life of purpose and meaning. It atrophies and is simply not developed to venture into the unknown.  It will lack the consciousness or compass to do anything other than do the things you have already done. It will cling to the shallow waters of the shoreline.

What does a closed mind sound or look like in practical life? “I’ll have to go home and ask my spouse”;  “I can’t afford it”;  someone who is always looking at the tip of the iceberg and not what’s under the iceberg; being deceitful or betraying the trust put in them by others, as well as not trusting others. It’s letting ignorant people, institutions, and governments tell them what’s best for them and their families. Instead of being discerning, they become a comrade and let others tell them how to think, how to behave, and who to give their money to. As a coach, I’ve seen intimate relationships that were doomed because the focus was on changing the other person instead of doing the change with themself.

A closed mind welcomes scarcity. When people are broke or just getting by, they are easily controlled. They are actually rewarded with entitlement or welfare (note: there are legitimate and authentic reasons people are unable to work.) How can a Chiropractor in debt of $500,000 not grasp the opportunity of coaching with TNR? This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the right person; others will make the familiar excuses to not move ahead. “Doesn’t she know that she has to go more in debt to get out of debt?” She doesn’t know that with her closed mind! Closed-minded people want someone else to do the heavy lifting. They don’t want to invest, put it all on the line, and then find out if they have it or if they are going to get exposed to overestimating their ability and underestimating what it actually is going to take to get the job done.

With an open mind, they can initiate and participate in those difficult dialogues that most ignore, laugh off, and don’t face until it’s too late. Even though many of these landmines that have been stepped on don’t have simple solutions, you can comfort and guide people that are in circumstances they didn’t ask to be in. These difficult dialogues define our lives. What are you going to do when your parents tell you that they are splitting up? What are you going to do when your mother tells you of your father’s illness? What are you going to say when your mate rolls over and tells you they’ve found someone else?

Look at your journey in TNR. When you first heard the concepts and principles, they were foreign, you didn’t grasp them, and yet you moved forward as if you did. That’s ambiguity at its finest. We don’t immediately (or ever) have all the answers. Closed-minded people who don’t understand something quit or opt-out at the drop of a hat. They also avoid or shy away from making decisions. Self-importance is all about thinking you know when you don’t. When they take one step away from the known, they will get exposed, eaten alive by the sharks that patrol the high seas of the unknown.

DCME Confidential

Question 1: My practice member says they will participate in Level 2/DCME if they are allowed to pay by the month. What should I do?

Answer: You are being played and they will drop out after a short while saying this is not for them. You will be out of integrity with all the people who abided by your guidelines and in integrity with a person who will bail when the going gets tough.

Question 2: I’ve never been paid $6,800 for anyone and I feel guilty. I feel sick to my stomach receiving this much money; after all, I’m not even a doctor. Help!

Answer: Get over yourself and the opinions of a society that is rooted in disease and wouldn’t have the foggiest of what health is. Go hook another tuna!
