TNR Happenings November 11, 2019

2020 TNR schedule released
I'm very excited to bring you the 2020 lineup. I have already received emails and phone calls on the mystery event. You will be learning about the mystery event in the very near future! Something like this has never been done in the history of TNR!
The next TNR training event is DCME on Saturday, January 18th
If there is a training that exposes your invisible resistance to change, it’s this one. It is a true gem from TNR. Your level of belief in Chiropractic and your resistance to change handicaps you in a very specific way in your office. Are you reluctant to the point of stubbornness to change recommendations and price points on your recommendations? Does the mention of packages reek of sales and marketing and cause emotions of shame and guilt? DCME comes from a completely different direction. There are no sales and marketing; just sharing recommendations with each and every practice member and letting them decide which level of care is best for them. You can’t always identify people who are lost because they put on a pretty good front. The invisible factors of belief in Chiropractic and self, colonization, and obedience to insurance mandates will rear their ugly heads. They will make sure your recommendations stay just where they are and that you join the rest of the profession in downsizing and decreasing the value of Chiropractic. DCME is moving in a distinct and different direction than the majority. Technique, academic prowess, diplomat status, and certificates don’t help you here and will throw you under the bus. It’s the same sinking, helpless feeling of being lost and your cell phone batteries have died

Practice tip of the week
Have more energy and emotions in your office. It’s not just excitement, it’s empathy for the paradoxes your people are going through, like the loss of parents or grandparents, illnesses with no answers, issues with their children, having to put down pets, job hassles, etc. People can tell if you are shallow. Have a full palate of emotions. Don't complain when your retention and referrals are merely average if you are speaking to your patients in a monotone way (think professors in Chiropractic College). Staff meetings should be high energy affairs, not snoozefests. Intellectual and analytical questions with no answers or accepting opinions as answers is the business model, not the humanitarian. Interactions with your practice members need to be at thermal levels of excitement. If someone has a migraine headache, okay, but there is way too much 'softening' going on in our offices: being laid back, trying to be internet cool, and not having enough passion and compassion. Being too conscious about what other people think is a recipe for disaster. Being professional is a nice way of saying you’re colonized.
From the mind of Miyagi

Believe it or not, this comes from the mystery event that is driving members crazy guessing what it is. It’s a way of looking at how people can change from what they are to who they wish to be. How does Miyagi do it? Simply by not giving you simple solutions to complex problems. People tend to follow the herd that emphasizes rushing for answers. Paradoxes cannot be solved as problems. Society forces values, beliefs, and norms on you through the internet and the media with repetition and amplification. After awhile you don’t even notice it, like warnings and dangerous side effects of drugs and surgical procedures. It is completely invisible, yet completely controlling your behaviors and actions. There is louder marketing with a ton of money behind it. along with celebrity and sports endorsements. Falsity is still not truth regardless of how loud it’s shouted or how often. In contrast, Miyagi instead lets you arrive at answer on your own, not relying on answers from faceless, robotic, Siri type authorities or what passes for wisdom on the internet. Watching a relationship video on YouTube is a shameful substitute for true mastery, competence, and excellence. A relationship between Miyagi and yourself must first be established before answers will come to you.
Initiations, rites of passage and rituals are all but absent today and it shows up big time in interpersonal relationships and anytime you journey into the unknown. Getting answers from others can be cheap substitutes and imitations of not having put in the time and training for yourself. Miyagi creates a running dialogue that is separate and distinct from anything you’ve heard. It’s from the oral tradition with indigenous people that prevailed for centuries and is still in place in many parts of the world. That’s what coaching in modern times is all about. You can’t have this dialogue with your spouse, parents, friends, or in-laws. By participating in this dialogue, your doubts will be dispelled and you will begin to change. Not merely by the words of Miyagi, rather by your own doing. You begin to think, act, and behave differently and you will effortlessly achieve what was once impossible to you.
Gift raising is in full swing!
Did you catch Facebook Live on Friday with Dr. Jason White of Holly, Michigan? They have been a part of the fun of LHNC for many, many years. His dedication to the kids on the Reservation is inspirational! Check it out on our Love Has No Color Facebook page.
Dr. Stepahnie Mills from Pembroke, New Hampshire is up to her old tricks again and shipping lots and lots of toys to the Reservation. She is the DC who was a former MS. America and her daughter, Brooke is also a beauty pageant winner. They have not only gone to Boot Camp and Christmas on the Reservation many times, she also arranged for Miss USA to speak to the kids on the Reservation a last year.

If you know of any DCs (past members or nonmembers) who are in the position to help these kids, please contact them. Remember, donations are accepted for those who have started late. We only have two weeks left. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
DCME confidential

Question 1: I have attended 2 DCME presentations now and I still find presenting the two levels of recommendations very challenging. I don’t know why, but I either cave or just keep presenting only the first level. What gives?
Answer: See you January 18th. It takes repetition to truly become comfortable doing something like this. DCME care is completely revolutionary and is not being done in Chiropractic. You have had 5 years of Chiropractic College showing you how to do things the old way. You really must train and be willing to undo the invisible beliefs that control your old ways of doing things.
Question 2: I have a 28-year old patient who has had a concussion, depression, and addiction problems. He is unwilling to commit to the 2nd level of care. It’s what he needs and he’s playing the poverty card. What do I do?
Answer: Here’s where the resonation you have trained for comes in. The higher the resonation you have, the less tolerance you will have for people having unrealistic expectations. It’s not that you kick them out, but do you want to be part of something that is being doomed from the start. The practice member can refuse to participate; however, they can’t create the recommendations or the type of care. Don’t forget that!
Testimonial from a recent Head-to-Head
I just finished my... I have lost count of the number... head-to-head. It's funny; certain concepts have a familiar tone intellectually. But, then I get home from my head to head and everything in the world is rearranged. It is simpler. It is sweeter. I heard music on the radio in such a ... exciting, adventurous, connecting way!?! Isn't that funny? I heard it before, but if felt more like background noise. Last week after my head to head it was just so beautiful. This morning, I believe my husband and I had our most tender moment together yet. I am so in love, with life again. And, the office results: clarity with difficult cases, asking for patients to contribute more to their own health, and how does this work out time after time... today we have 4 new patients coming in... 4 new lives... potentially changing their world; changing the world; and changing my world and my families.
Thank you Dr. Kevin
