Miyagi Training Is On November 8th

What is it like to directly receive concepts that are not spoken of in the world of the ordinary? No hiding behind analysis, technique, big words, or confusing concepts. These concepts are introduced, contextualized, and clarified in TNR trainings. There is no way to write about them. It’s an oral tradition. This is how wisdom was passed down in ancient times. When you experience them, live and in person, there is less to memorize, and you can call on them for the rest of your life. “Don’t do it” is so much fun live and in person! You can also ask questions that are relevant to you. There is no new age, psychic nonsense, etc. I am a pragmatist and use only what works. Healers of the past weren’t fooled by flashes in the pan, scientific smoke and mirrors, etc. You couldn’t be a dabbler; you had to take your seat at the table and be fully invested in the healing of another life. This is not particularly popular in a technological and disease-fueled society, and you are not a part of that world either. The world of surgical intervention, chemo, and radiation gets top billing in our society. It’s not the only game in town. Step up beautifully to be of even more use to your patients. The best thing you can do for mediocrity is not to be a part of it. Call to get your ticket today. Discounted tickets are available until October 29th.

Christmas on the Reservation

We will be having a home base in Billings, like we did with our summer Boot Camp/Fun Days. The dates are December 11th and 12th. The information mailer for Christmas on the Reservation will be mailed out this week. If you have any specific questions, feel free to call Dr. Julie. This is an all-hands-on-deck project because the costs of gifts and mailing are considerable. We have a brand new group of kids waiting for us, as this will be our first time in Billings for Christmas. Let’s bring our A game. If you are thinking of participating, let Dr. Julie know. There is something special about being Santa Claus for these kids! These are much more than gifts for these kids; they are symbols of hope, healing, and dignity. The world needs to experience more Native American cultures and ways. They were the original keepers of the Earth.

From the Mind of Miyagi

It can be perplexing for newer members to learn the TNR/Miyagi language, concepts, and world orientation, such as Power vs. Force, Linear vs. Non-Linear, Truth vs. Non-Truth, and Above the Line vs. Below the Line. Here is a clarifying example: Suppose you were 100 pounds overweight and you decided you wanted to lose the weight. You research on the internet and get the top 10 linear ways to lose weight that vary from dieting, exercise, positive mental attitude, and meal replacement powder to drinking your own urine. You then need more consensus and ask your friends what they think. Then you might go to Barnes and Noble and select a book that proves the method you’ve decided on is true.

You set a starting date, and the fateful day finally arrives. And then it happens! You can’t do it, or you struggle mightily. Nobody goes to university or college for 9 years to be unsuccessful. It’s as if invisible puppet strings pull you into your car, and you find yourself with a food bag tied around your neck at Old Country Buffet. How did this happen? You did your research, asked your friends, and aligned with other sources, like videos, that verified your point of view. Then it seemed like your energy, willpower, and optimism got short-circuited, like they suddenly turned on you and held you hostage. This isn’t far from the truth.

In the world of TNR, you look under the obvious tip of the iceberg (effect) and discover there are invisible causes. In our world, we focus on effects, not causes; symptoms, not the root of the issue. Superficial, simple solutions to complex problems are the goal of technology. The problem is that complex problems don’t yield to the superficial. The same thinking that caused the problems can’t solve them.

A central figure in healing (be it a doctor, therapist, partner, or parent) is the establishment of a relationship. Without someone guiding you, the odds are stacked against you. Are you entering a true relationship or a professional relationship? Is it financially based or fully engaged without judgment? These are two entirely different orientations toward patients. A computer is not a person, and a natural relationship is not formed; instead, an imitation or substitute is formed. Many erstwhile caring doctors get sucked into telehealth and related silliness. It’s simply not good enough when it comes to health! It’s good enough for simple issues, data, information, etc. For healing, it merely doesn’t supply the energy needed to catalyze the process (think of jumper cables). Remember this the next time a skeptical person comes in to ask for your help. Until the skeptical issue is addressed, the person will end up as their own enemy, attempting to prove you wrong. Imagine that!

Miracle Training

Miracle Training With Dr. Kevin

An overlooked ingredient in Miracle Training and DCME cases is the passage of time. It’s the marinating or aging of the wine. It cannot be sped up. The wailings of the sick and suffering are fix me or rescue me. If you allow your relationship to sag, rupture, or atrophy, the results will not be forthcoming. People can tell if you are genuinely interested or just doing your job. Are you bored, looking away, or thinking of going home or being somewhere else, like a therapist who is waiting for the /timer to ring to mercifully end yet another stagnant session? It may seem like nothing is happening, but when you’re connected to that person, it is. A sacred healing relationship is formed. You can’t see healing because it’s invisible and comes from holding space for that person over time. Getting overanxious or caving to the ego-based demands of the patient is a deal breaker.

Being let down, feeling betrayed, not being understood or heard, or not feeling worthwhile are prevalent issues with most of us. There is a reason MD visits are so quick and analytical. It’s a forced performance, with a grim, measured face and your brows furrowed, not understanding anything that is going on behind the content. If they met you at Home Depot, they wouldn't recognize you and would walk right by. The context between 2 people is where the gold is. It’s a quiet voice, almost like invisible tentacles extending from their umbilical cord and yours. Interested, highly resonant, supportive —can you believe or trust this person? People make a rapid assessment of doctors, and you rarely get an opportunity for a do-over. Every visit with no excuses or bad days, even if you’re fighting with your spouse, your kids are sick, you have financial upturns or downturns, etc. All of this can wait; you must form the sacred vessel for that person. Instead of thinking of it as a performance (we do this in other areas in our lives), be authentic, real, and deep. Skip the superficial, the entertaining, etc. Let your true Self shine.

DCME Confidential

Confidential-150x150

Question 1: Many times after I leave my DCME patient, I think they are never coming back. Then they come back, and the cycle starts anew. What’s going on?

Answer: It takes time for your social survival to acclimate to doing DCME/Level 2 care. It is there to remind you of who you were before you discovered TNR/DCME care. All of your friends and colleagues are marooned on a desert island called suffering. This island is an oasis for symptom-based treatment of illness only. Anything deeper is referred to a real doctor.

Question: I have an inner dialogue that wants to lower my fees and recommendations. Is this real or imagined?

Answer: It’s your ego/small self warning you that you are out of your comfort zone. Please ignore it and charge full fees. By the way, when you make it easier or more convenient, your results will plummet.
