Mr. Miyagi Training Is On November 5th
In a world that still tries to convince you that covid is real and health is an illusion, can you really afford to miss even one training? During the 22 years of training DCs, NDs, healers, and entrepreneurs about how to keep ahead of the curve, the same temptation has existed for all of us: I’m doing okay. Doing merely okay or accepting struggling, you will react the same: no new input and you will wait until the sh#@ hits the fan to reflexively react to what you’re missing. An example is how low-resonating people wait until they are sick to seek help in a society that rewards people who are sick. In TNR, it’s a voluntary journey of getting to know yourself in a world where doing so makes no sense. What outsiders don’t know is how possessing this ability allows you to also earn 3, 5, 10x the income of the limited, non-believers. It’s about adopting the rescue dog mentality in all areas of your life. Don’t follow suit just because other people choose not to demonstrate their best effort in anything. Instead of pretending it’s not going to happen to you, accept responsibility to not let it happen to you. Do not lose your sense of grounding and rise above the petty levels of achievement the common man or woman chases after. Use power, rather than force, struggle, or suffering. Make sure the journey of transformation of what was once difficult is now easy continues to hold your interest and you still have the fire and urgency you once had. Continue to stand for something and don’t fall for convenience, social consensus, or disease worship. In case you haven’t experienced it yet, this trickles down to all areas of your life. Plan to join us on November 5th!

Love Has No Color News
Don’t take your foot off the gas pedal. At Dr. Randi Jo’s baby shower this past Saturday, I ran into a large donor who promised to donate once again this year. LHNC just resonates with her in a big way. It was nice to finally meet this donor. We extended an invitation for her and her family to join us on the Reservation and she is hoping to come with us next year. Members are doing all kinds of innovative events to raise the necessary funds to fuel this year’s effort. $4,000 for a yard sale? A member who is the author and illustrator of a children’s book will be bringing 66 books to the Reservation for the kids. If you are interested in participating, please call Dr. Julie to get the logistics. It’s a trip of a lifetime for you, your kids, VIP practice members, friends, etc.

From the Mind of Miyagi

What makes the difference in the pursuit of excellence? In the case of doctors, they all possess the same degrees, and yet, the ‘why’ behind what they do, their clinical results, and their economics are Grand Canyons apart. How can this be? Is there such a thing as lucky people and unlucky people? One thing I’ve noticed over the last two decades is the absence or the presence of the Reward Cascade System. Without an internal guidance system, you will tend to lower your sights and just get by, struggle, or smugly tell all who will listen just how tough you have it. You can dissect every molecule of a person and you won’t find it. It’s a developed mindset that has capability in all circumstances. You just can’t keep these people down: even with tragedies, broken hearts, or financial worries, they overcome all obstacles. No matter what befalls them, they have the ability and belief in themselves to see the solutions rather than staying stuck in the problems. Am I speaking about practice, life, relationships, marriage, etc.? I’m speaking about all of it!
It’s an ingredient in successful or yet-to-be-successful people that is palpable. I see it in everything I observe. It’s recognized long before adulthood. You can see it in sports, music, dance, theater, a 17-year-old who has a dump truck and a landscape business while the rest of his friends are playing on their computers, or kids that can actually sell candy bars to raise money instead of having their parents write the check. Look at our Love Has No Color donors: they are doing the same thing today. The one kryptonite that befalls people before adulthood is they allow themselves to be talked into the ever-popular ‘wrong container’. It’s almost a commandment of our society. They get plastered by parents, especially if they are female: find a good job working for someone of authority because you can’t do it yourself, find someone to take care of you in exchange for raising kids, and don’t set your demands too high, etc. In the unpopular ‘right container’, you can create the life of your choosing and you are in charge, lock, stock, and barrel. In real life, it’s not about which container, but the fit. An alpha working for others is a poor fit. A beta pretending to be an alpha will meet their Waterloo as well.
One thing about having an operating Reward Cascade System is that you don’t have to have instant gratification. Some things will take time and are out of reach for people who can’t delay instant gratification: training, reading, going to TNR events, etc. Forgoing a weekly paycheck while you get the training (9 years of college) is a step in the right direction for some. Others journey along the same path only to get sucked back into working for someone else to show them the ropes, etc. The point here that I am making is TNR is all about having a strong role model in your corner who will not accept anything less than your best effort. Outside of TNR, you can fool all the people in your inner circle by accepting lower standards.
DCME Confidential

Question 1: Do most members understand the mentality of doing these types of cases? As much as I love to do them, they pull a lot of juice out of me. I see the best in people and I see the worst in people and everything in between.
Answer: When I created the DCME principle, I originally thought more members would partake in them. Time has taught me it’s the same % in all groups that do the heavy lifting. The bold, audacious warriors are called to protect the weak, sick, or oppressed people who want another chance at life.
Question 2: Hearing the fee schedules of some members gives me a nosebleed. I can’t see myself ever charging that much for care.
Answer: Don’t pretend to be them without training and putting in the work. Take a step or two in that direction. It may not be a higher fee; it could be a frequency and duration increase. Is it a headache, a migraine, or a traumatic brain injury?
