TNR Happenings

Your Weekly TNR Pulse

Atlanta Seminar in Just 2 Weeks!

We’re so excited to see all of you who have signed up! The concepts presented will touch all members, whether you’re seeing a hundred pv a week or a thousand.  You will really feel the community of TNR and experience that profound sense of belonging you don’t get anywhere else; truly one of the few ‘offline’ communities left in Chiropractic.  Without this charge, you will get sucked in toward the bane of our Chiropractic profession…ISOLATION!  Don’t let this happen to you.  Where else do you get challenged to be something above and beyond merely a symptom reducing doctor?  Make the effort to make this seminar extra special by attending and bringing a guest DC.  MM? Don’t ask, it’s sold out.

What a Letter from Kenny Smoker

[pdf-embedder url=”https://www.coachingforchiropractors.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Love-Has-No-Color-letter-2016.pdf” title=”love-has-no-color-letter-2016″]

A big thank you to all of our TNR members,  both present and past, for what’s in this letter.  We are all connected by our humanitarian spirit. We couldn’t do it without the tireless work and partnership of Kenny, his HPDP group, along with the residents of the reservation. LHNC was started by DCs and continues to be powered by DCs, working together to help America’s First People. Just a few years back in a middle school of 140 odd kids, 5 kids took their lives in a single year!  Now, of course, we can’t take credit for all of the incredible changes, but we proudly stand as a part of the solution, rather than part of the problem. This is undoubtedly a milestone to be proud of, so show it off! Whether you’re just sharing with your practice members, family and other DC colleagues or pasting it on your social media pages, let the world  know what you are a part of! Rumor has it that Cowboy Rick is making a life size poster of this letter. Know that this is historic in our profession!

Practice Tip of The Week

Stop playing small once and for all.  It doesn’t matter what anyone else in your community is doing.  Your inner subconscious beliefs about Chiropractic literally ‘color’ everything you do in the office.  Is the world interconnected, or are we all separate and distinct.  Are we all one people, or a dog eat dog world?  NPs, collections, and staff woes all reflect your depth of belief.  Adding to Friday’s special edition TNR Happenings update, here’s more historical wisdom from my mentor Dr. Joe speaking about western writer Matt Braun.

“After a confrontation that shook his life, George Suggans got busy breaking out a bottle he kept for occasions just such as this.  Nerve medicine, he called it.  Whether a man was losing his nerve-or just did not have any to start with- whiskey had a way of working wonders on the spine”.  Doctors, whiskey is the active metaphor for the outside in allopathic model (outside in fixes, practice management, sales) we use instead of personal power and huge depth of belief.  Rather than do it ourselves, we rely on the popular ‘whiskey’ of the time, including anything computerized to get in low quality new patients.  BSOs are not a bad thing, they are an outside in substitute for what’s real on the inside.  Develop the inside growl of the tiger and anything you use for promotions will have the Midas touch.  Every event offered in TNR, including H2Hs, is about developing this ‘untapped potential’.

LHNC Gift and Fundraising News

Ornaments will be arriving with in the next couple of days, and then on their way to you! I received a call from long-time friend of TNR, Dr. Jason White. His office has already collected 60 toys!  Dr. Teri is being Dr. Teri, the queen of LHNC fundraising.  Dr. Beth, Dr. Lisa, Dr. Michele, Dr. Amit, Dr. Aaron, Dr. Mark, Dr. Sabrina, and Cowboy Rick are among others, that are all expecting record numbers.  LHNC is truly making a difference because of the effort of TNR.  Keep up the great work and don’t wait until the end.  Keep the donations coming! Remember, we will be purchasing food to hand out along with the toys, gifts, clothing, etc.  If you are planning on participating, we will be working all day Thursday and Friday this year. Most people will arrive on Wednesday.

December 5 is the day gifts have to be on the UPS truck.
