TNR Happenings 9.19

Tao of TNR

A community of like-minded humanitarian leaders gains in strength and scope, and this was witnessed this past weekend. It stretches far beyond the limiting boundaries of Chiropractic, Naturopathy, healers, storytellers, guides, etc. There was a surprise birthday cake for Tita. A star was born and we got to see her ‘heal’ her first patient on her maiden voyage. The guest call-in brought all in attendance to tears. Another highlight was the lighthouse concept of loving something so much that you may have to ‘let it go’ for the best interests of all concerned, up to and including. A preview of a children’s book written by a member that is still in the production stage was shared; this book will change the world. We had DCs falling back in love with Chiropractic, their practices, and embracing the miracle. Those that are being held hostage by parents, spouses, practice members, CAs, and siblings now have the courage to stand up for themselves, end the madness known as their lives of quiet desperation, and live in freedom. TNR has always been about transformation.

"I have lived in 7 different cities, in over a dozen different houses, and yet I’ve never felt like I truly belonged somewhere or felt like I was at home until I found TNR. To be in a space of humanitarian-driven individuals focused on being of service to the world, willing to talk about their vulnerabilities, insecurities, shadows, and other parts of themselves that they are brave enough to shine a light on and heal is the closest place to home I’ve ever felt. There is no hiding in TNR, not your shadows, your strengths, your gifts, or the Truth you may have been avoiding. Everything is brought to the surface and exposed so you have an opportunity to be the truest, highest version of yourself."

“"You know you’re doing it right when your armpits smell like Burger King French fries.' Yes, I achieved that level today. The concepts, metaphors, and the in-person experience of the seminar will move your molecules. Sniff your armpits – you’ll know that change happens when you put skin in the game and show up."

"There is a magic to being able to help people who want help. Thank you Dr. Kevin for allowing us to learn the ability to improve ourselves each day. To stop putting up with excuses and fulfill our full inborn potential. Stop making excuses, holding on to the past, and lying to yourself, and do it. Come and take what is already available to you."

Love Has No Color News

HPDP has been inundated by calls asking about when the Chiropractors and others are coming to deliver gifts. The dates for Christmas on the Reservation are December 8th and 9th, and it’s time to get serious about fundraising. This year we have been asked to have a laser-type focus and match gifts with the schools we serve. In order to do this, we want to concentrate on monetary donations and having Dr. Julie scan the internet for deals with free shipping. If you know of any vendors who can help, please contact her. Vernice will let her know how many boys and girls are in each grade. In past years we would have many items for a 3rd grader and none for a kindergarten, etc. This year we will try to match each and every gift with age and gender-specific. If there are any big fish in your office, large donations are gladly accepted in addition to the micro-donations. They all add up to a whole lot of smiling on the faces of these kids. They have existed without joy and love long enough.

From the Mind of Miyagi

Why can’t people embrace new concepts and learn to increase the quality of their lives? From hoaxes to war, injustice, and inequality, why is it so hard for people to see beyond the world of appearance or the tip of the iceberg? It’s so frustrating to try to educate, inspire, and demonstrate health to people who only seem interested in disease, scarcity, and remaining ‘infants’ who need parents of authority to tell them how to think, how to live, and what is right for them.

Our interpretation of the world around us is always based on our own personal history, beliefs, and assumptions. If we’re not aware that our automatic relation to anything encountered is to run it through the filter of our assumptions, it can be quite daunting to learn something new. The average adult gains 5 points in resonation during their whole lifetime. The untrained mind stops breakthrough learning early in life, as soon as we achieve what’s needed (paying bills, just getting by, doing just enough not to be divorced, and remaining a true minimalist). Instead, we reinforce this learning disability and watch the news, get programmed by social media, celebrities, and memes, and read bestsellers which severely handicap our learning. Then the breakthrough learning gets stopped in its tracks. In its place consensus is substituted for true learning or discernment of truth. Learning something new for most is seriously hampered by the effectiveness of our minds: the main purpose is deeply rooted in survival (having needs met,) not in increasing consciousness or challenging dogma whether religious, political, war, judicial, oppression of people, injustice, etc.

The mind strives for efficiency and wastes little energy reconsidering anything previously assumed, especially if it works reasonably well. Add this to a lack of a reward cascade system and you’ve got a person who will find it difficult at best and impossible at worst to ‘hook a tuna’. Just as with the body, we rarely question whether the way we walk or move could be improved; if it gets the job done, that’s all that concerns us. By the time we reach adulthood, the mold for our thinking and perceptions has been cast and we see no reason to give the matter any further attention. Who in their right mind would be dominated and submissive and accept being an associate when there is ownership staring them in the face? The superficiality, lack of depth, and 154-character of society enforce this limitation that plagues this generation of people addicted to their electronic pacifiers. This means that most of what’s currently perceived (your current life) is based on and restricted to the previous programming with no exceptions: typically closed minds, narcissism, fundamentalists, scientism, dogma, political agendas, and parental upbringing and assessments (you stink or you’re great). In other words, you are invisibly living a second-hand world that was thrust on you.

Anything currently unknown by you (Covid, political agendas, what’s really behind war, governments, health, etc.) is not yet an aspect of your self-perspective and is very difficult to grasp or even hear. It’s so much easier to become submissive, accept the domination, and infantilizing. Do what you’re told, the government knows what’s best for you and it’s free of charge, use social pressure to make others follow your lead, etc. Standing up to the majority (even though they are completely in error) is never easy or without price. The kind of openness needed here can be difficult to achieve, much less sustain. Hence, the continuous, constant need for input and training. I have seen people suffer that wanted to be TNR-grade and use shortcuts; they just couldn’t hold on because there are no shortcuts. The increase of consciousness and open-mindedness that is learned in TNR is indeed rare in our society. It is viewed as dangerous, cult-like, and threatening to spouses, parents, friends, and siblings. And yet truth doesn’t need anyone to defend it, fight for it, etc. It exists and is, regardless of if you can grasp it or not. Enjoy the ride of your life. There is nothing like it in the world.
