TNR happenings Sept 25

Miyagi will be on November 2nd and 3rd

The Miyagi experience is a jewel of TNR and is not found anywhere in the profession. Clinical results are only whispered with hushed tones in our profession. The agendas of our state boards and state organizations are the popular but limited musculoskeletal model for most adults. They tolerate but do not support those few who choose to see children, difficult cases, and anything beyond a handful of insurance shackled visits. Miyagi actually reveals to you the road of true mastery, but you don’t get it from a single seminar any more than you become a black belt in a training session or two. It’s a journey and the more training you do towards this end, the more miracles you will see. It does not overcomplicate, but understanding the mindset needed can be challenging at the beginning. This ability or resonation is beyond the analytical intellect. Even though the analytical and intellect can help you move toward this rare ability, you must surrender your frontal lobes to acquire it. The frontal lobes actually inhibit and lower your resonation. Very counterintuitive and very mystical. There will be a fun Friday evening activity until the wee hours.

Intro Workshop, Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon, Shelby Township, MI

Thank you for posting this on your social media. Putting out this energy helps. You just never know who you will reach with the right message at the right time! Dr. Mark Bassett is our host. The function of this is to identify DCs who would be a great fit for TNR and who want to find out their true potential so they can start helping lots more people. Of particular note: the DCs who have purchased tickets are all experiencing relationship strain in addition to their practice challenges. They all want to see more new patients and earn more income. Sometimes losing your MOJO is very visible and other times it’s invisible. TNR DCs know this but DCs outside of TNR are still reaching for BSOs, software, closing, selling, and marketing as substitutes. If you know of anybody who needs to be there, please reach out to them today.

Practice tip of the week

Understanding how your practice members make decisions will help you keep your sanity. Their decisions, for the most part, are not logical and are a hodgepodge of past limiting beliefs, experiences, and opinions. The reasons "why I can't’" are much stronger in people than the reasons "why I can". The reasons "why I can't" be in shape far outweigh the reasons "why I can" be in shape. The reasons "why I can't" are actually tricky forms of denial that we apply everywhere in our lives. As clever, logical, or real as these reasons or stories are, they will not get the results people say they want. EVER! These reasons and stories serve to keep us in denial. In the twisted shadow part of our personality, it supposedly keeps us away from our fears.

Don’t bite on the reasons or try to solve them for your practice members. Some examples of how we bite: A practice member says, "I can’t afford the care." The next thing out of his mouth is, "Guess where I’m going after this visit? To buy a new Mercedes Benz!" Don't dismiss this as a made up story to support this concept: there are 2 DCs smiling right now in Medway, MA. "Oh, I’m too busy with my kid’s activities to come in for care." If it was a life-threatening illness, there would be other plans made for the kids. You don’t have to lower your recommendations, your fees, or suggest solutions to their dilemma. Just know there is no logic in these stories and excuses, just fear, a lack of convenience, and some part of their shadow they don’t want to dredge up. If you try to make these excuses real, you let them off the hook, real easy. So what do they do: find the most inexpensive, most convenient solution and let go of achieving results.

Want proof? With invisible disease, like autism for example, people do lots and lots of activities with almost no improvement whatsoever! People spend billions upon billions on exercise gadgets to be done at home with no supervision or accountability (that’s the point!) Then you see these gadgets thrown out into the trash since they failed to deliver results. The types of people who commit are rare examples of having more "why I can"s than "why I can't"s. Even though they have shadow figures in their personalities, they are kept in check and actually help propel them towards achieving results. Don’t ever take for granted a practice member that commits to their care. They are showing you who they are and what they stand for.

DCME Confidential

Confidential

When am I going to see results? The dreaded question that doesn’t have a specific answer. There are so many factors. Some are visible, but most are invisible. With every high resonating adjustment, a practice member is moving towards health, regardless of the appearance.

Question 1: Several times I have heard you say that as a rule friends do not make very good DCME cases. Is that true?

Answer: You heard right. Friendship gets in the way of some of the resistances to becoming healthy, like authority, compliance, and faith. You’ve partied with this person, made comments and judgments about others, and now you’re their doctor. The friendship part of your relationship came first and actually takes priority over your doctor-patient relationship. The same applies to your kids, relatives, and even spouses. DCMEs are difficult enough without handicapping yourself further. Commitment and money complicate a relationship that was already in place without these factors.

Question 2: Why isn't my practice member asking me about the 21-Day DCME Video Program that they are supposed to be doing?

Answer: They are not doing it. PERIOD! Their journey past their emotional blockages is so important in liberating them towards health. Some practice members are private and don’t want to share embarrassing or humiliating events with you, but you should receive feedback. Some feedback could be asking how you liked doing the program for the first time or saying that what you are doing on the reservation in Montana sure is a great idea, etc. Depending on your relationship making ability, why not either go over their homework or, for confidentiality reasons, orally go over any high points and keep them on track. Ask them if there are any difficulties, questions, or things that didn’t make sense. This is not an exercise video or life coaching 101. This is a heavy duty program to remove as much dark matter crap that is preventing them from expressing health. Once they remove layers of emotional baggage, your adjustments and the relationship created is allowed to do its magic.

It’s hard to enjoy Christmas when hungry!

One of the silent challenges on the Reservation is food. In this day with all the government surplus handouts, you’d never think it was real. IT IS! Yes, for Christmas on the Reservation, we are going to be raising all kinds of gifts, toys, sporting goods, articles of clothing, boots, gloves, and hats. With everyone's help, let's purchase high quality, non-perishable food as well. I don’t want to dilute the toys and gifts. It’s not either or, it’s both. When I speak with Kenny Smoker, he usually doesn't ask for anything specific, but when I mention the food, he just beams. You've probably heard this story: There were over 100 kids watching a movie in the movie theater and at the end of the movie they asked the kids if they wanted a gift or a couple of sandwiches to take home. The kids chose the food. We have patients in all of our offices that would love to help out the kids! Maybe our kids or kids in our offices could go on social media and ask for some help. Kenny will have the final say over the distribution of the bags of groceries, but perhaps we could give them out as we do in the summer with some Christmas Carols. Anyone know the words to any Christmas carols?

Photo albums and t-shirts

Don’t forget that the Boot Camp photo albums and t-shirts are for sale! These can be perfect gifts for family, friends, and special practice members. A few DCs have purchased them to place around the office so patients can look through them. The photo albums are $25 and t-shirts are $15. Please contact Dr. Julie for more info/purchase.
