DCME Is On July 18th
Where do individuals in Chiropractic pick up limitations, scarcity, and a lack of confidence to push the envelope? Why do they adhere to them for the rest of their lives? Professors, practice members, licensing boards, and rules and regulations, of course, contribute to taking a smaller bite of the apple; but it’s something that came before that. It’s the personal authority, a knowing/truth meter, that is present in everybody, but everybody doesn’t know it. It’s like a superpower that the person doesn’t even know they possess. The result is obeying the rules made for the ordinary. When you work for a company, they take your taxes out for you, like a person who can’t be trusted. When you work for yourself, that task is voluntary. Higher levels of freedom are afforded those who possess this boldness or thirst to find out for themselves and simply don’t accept limitation, scarcity, and the lack of confidence that resides in all areas of society. Set your spirit and life free by attending. Call Dr. Julie today.
Love Has No Color
I purchased my airline ticket, and my thoughts are already turning to all the adventures that await us on the Fort Peck Reservation. Summer Boot Camp has a different feel and texture than Christmas on the Reservation. Both are complete and whole in and of themselves, but the kids, seniors, and completed projects (along with the heat) make being there in the summer something special. There is a spiritual component to being in an ancient land populated with ancient people. Somehow, it conjures a state of gratitude that may have been missing: an infusion of purpose, with a generous helping of connection to people, especially those in need. We are looking for VIP practice members, guests, family members, and others to deliver the gift to some of the most deserving people on the planet. You will never be the same after participating in the summer activities. Donations, donations, and donations are needed! The dates on the Reservation are August 13, 14, and 15.
From the Mind of Miyagi
As you look at this picture, you probably wouldn’t know what it is because it makes absolutely no sense to the intellect, the ego, or to most anything else. This a picture of a snapping turtle laying eggs in the sacred grief pile. This is an example of the often unseen ancient circle of life. There is intelligence above and beyond intellect that is inside all of us, recognized or not. This turtle laying eggs does not think it’s time to lay eggs and does not have a reminder or any other substitute or imitation of this intelligence. There is a reverence, an awe, and wonder in witnessing such an event. We are all connected to this ancient rite of passage, regardless if it’s mentioned on a social media platform. We don’t need someone else to tell us this, give us permission, or deem it popular or valuable. It does and is. As has happened for thousands of years, there is an instinct to follow this guidance that it can’t see, taste, touch, or feel. In our culture, we have an almost endless list of substitutes and imitations. Remove the mystery, make it so we can have it at our command (technology), just push play, etc. The wonder and awe vanish as a result, and we are left with a gnawing emptiness in our lives that we just can’t put our finger on.
We see this around this time of the year with people taking vacations. People have an urge to be once again grounded in nature by camping in tents or motorhomes, rather than being separated from nature and surrounded by concrete, buildings, and distractions. There is a natural tendency when sick to seek solitude and be undistracted. It seems to welcome you back after a prolonged absence. I have seen this with family members prior to them passing: all of their previous uses of time (distractions) evaporated. This was not done with force. The individual realized, under the weight of a life-and-death situation, that the things they had been fascinated by had lost their luster. This intelligence beyond intellect can’t command you to obey its guidance. Nobody, including the creator, can take away your choice, free will, or other rights. You can use all kinds of artificial intelligence and think it’s the real thing until you are brought to your knees with the 4 D’s.
When health gets invaded by interferences, it intensifies the call for you to return to this source. After all, you were well before you got sick, weren’t you? What keeps us well, and why do we abandon this intelligence when we become ill? Like sugar, we can assemble substances in a lab that are 100x sweeter (or better). This enhanced sweetness, like technology, pharma, or AI, makes a very powerful argument for itself and is almost impossible to resist in modern times.
Use anything you insist is helping, but don’t turn your back on the intelligence or guidance that got you this far. Modern substitutes and imitations are alluring and seductive because they place speed, convenience, and low cost before us, and they know that we will abandon what got us here for the glitz and glamour of high-tech, low-touch. It’s not a matter of abandoning modern convenience and going back to cave or teepee living; it’s a matter of having a recognition of this Divine Guidance, regardless of the circumstances you find yourself in.
Miracle Training
What do you do with someone who has been welcomed into the dark night of the soul? Does your ego tell you that you are better than all the doctors who have kicked the can previously to the person showing up in your office? The person is putting pressure on themselves and doctors by saying, “Do something.” Operations using powerful, side-effect-laden substances and radiation to the body are not working with nature, no matter how popular. War and destruction, no matter how mainstream or part of our culture, will not instill peace. Declaring war on the body will not create healing.
A huge part of seeing patients who have their proverbial backs against the wall is holding space for them, not necessarily doing something for them. The dynamics of holding space, like a mother holding their babies, surround the person in a healing atmosphere. They have unwittingly violated many health principles, and to them, it seems as though they are being singled out, punished, and exiled. Nothing could be further from the truth. Like a check engine light, it’s not harassing or punishing them; it’s an invitation for them to change course and look at some things differently, or they will be in for a rough ride.
Unification, integration, and transformation are the ancient factors that will return most back from the dead, regardless of how hopeless the situation looks to modern medical science. These principles are not the least bit intimidated if you refuse to acknowledge them or think of them as insignificant. Trying to work on effects (body) only, without inner work being done, is an uphill battle. After all, the mental and emotional (inner) invisible factors preceded the body issues. There are no incurable illnesses, only people who absolutely refuse to even consider that there are answers.
DCME Confidential
Question 1: My DCME doesn’t seem to grasp the trouble she is in and is willing to accept the consequences, including amputation. Are you kidding me?
Answer: With any heavy circumstance, there will be a dimension of denial. It comes with the territory. It’s a way of supposedly protecting yourself. Healing will come when the person views reality without turning away from it. This was a great question.
Question 2: Dr. Kevin, do you ever experience a personality you can’t work with?
Answer: All the time. Due to their resistance, they will not receive input and will attack that source. Regardless of their x, y, z personality, the principles of health that have been violated need to be restored to their natural alignment. There is much more to healing than academics, techniques, data, etc. It’s as much an art as it’s a science.
