TNR Happs 10.19.26

Mr. Miyagi Is On November 14th

In any group, association, profession, or sports affiliation, a tiny percentage of people always do the heavy lifting. Who does extra laps in gym class? Why bother? You don’t get anything extra, and you’re not being paid or recognized anyway. But when you do get paid and recognized later in life for the extra effort, the habit of going above and beyond is already well established, separating you from being mediocre or average. When you are in the group that does extra and moves toward excellence, the cool kids, the slackers, and the like will make fun of you. Not doing extra seems harmless when you are younger, but it begins an insidious slide into mediocrity, settling for good and claiming another hapless victim who knows no better. It’s okay in most professions, but what about when suffering, a person’s life, or disease is at stake? Becoming a once-in-a-lifetime doctor/healer is reserved for people who not only want to earn much higher income, but also enjoy being ‘that guy or gal’ people count on in life. Is your dentist average? Probably. Is your DC average? Probably. When it counts, you will travel to see a DC who isn’t average; it’s not always convenient, and you will pay the full fee. How many people in your inner circle of family and friends fell for covid? The same people are okay with good enough instead of class of one. The Sunday Head-to-Head date is still available, but I may take it off the table, as I currently have one Miracle Training client and expect another shortly. Plan to attend this special training.

Love Has No Color

The dates are finally official! They are December 3rd and 4th, with travel days the day before and the day after. Councilwoman Vernice Chopper is so glad we are returning for yet another year of bringing joy and love to the little guys and gals on Fort Peck. It is planned right now that Kenny Smoker will also be in attendance, like at Fun Day in the summer. The Christmas on the Reservation fundraising letter will be going out this week. It’s time to start collecting donations, toys, coats, boots, hats, gloves, etc. One office that collects tons of coats will add a clothes-hanging rack next to the toy tables to hold them. Smart idea! If you are collecting donations and have a tree in your office, put donation slips on the tree. Or take a picture of the donor, add their name to it, and hang it on the tree.

What is the price of being in the know? One of the hardest things you will do in life is to attempt to help friends, relatives, or family members. It usually isn't in the cards. The role you play now can't be replaced by being a superhero. They usually will not participate or give you the necessary authority. When a family member asks you about medical care like chemotherapy, radiation, immunology, or amputation, simply say that you legally don’t do it and you can’t comment on it. Don’t let them drag you out of your lane. By the way, you are probably an afterthought; they have already made up their minds and are simply looking for your approval of their socially approved course of action.

We have multiple members who have parents that are in the battle of their lives. The doctor kids who have chimed in have only made relationship matters worse. There is a high probability your parents won't listen to you, here and now, now or forever. Why sacrifice a lifetime relationship for something that is futile? If asked, be truthful; they aren't asking you to change their minds; they are just dabbling. Know that the higher up the food chain you go, the more people will ignore you, become envious or jealous, or even avoid you completely.

Support them and love them without foisting on them unwelcome or unrequested advice. Moving from generalist to specialist takes a special form of toughness to criticism. It’s like moving up from the junior varsity to the varsity. You will be the butt of jokes, called a superstar, etc., and the rank-and-file JV players simply won't listen to you. They will de-friend you to feel good about choosing good over great, based on nothing but public opinion.

When you are in the know, remember the rest of the world believes the world is flat. They have no experience to support your claims. Some will get angry or even violent. Staying in your lane means not being popular, agreed with, convenient, or an ass-clown on social media. Throughout history, the well-educated hung out at institutions of higher learning and thought that was the absolute limit of social convention for people who are not in the know. You had to climb a mountain or find a once-in-a-lifetime healer in some sort of retreat-like facility if you had the fortune and tenacity not to believe in what can’t be done. When was the last time you saw a mystic, sage, prophet, or once-in-a-lifetime healer?

Miracle Training

Miracle Training With Dr. Kevin

A moment of silence for a person who refuses to go to Oz to save her life. She is at the end of her proverbial rope and has been classified in the final stages of a terminal condition. One of our rising bright stars in TNR made it her responsibility to let her know about Miracle Training. TNR is all about the courage it takes to put a decades-old relationship on the line. This person has a 20-year relationship with this fellow doctor. The illness-ravaged person couldn’t hear what a person who knows a thing or two about serious illness had to say.

This TNR member has been expertly cared for (DCME care) by a once-in-a-lifetime doctor I personally trained. She had also experienced my healing table during a Healing Head-to-Head experience. She was shattered that a friend of this quality wouldn't hear her words, based on experience, expertise, and truth, not social media, dogma, or new-age Hail Marys.

I wrote her a note, set it on fire, and planted it in my Sacred Grief Pile. The smoke took on a greenish-blue hue and stood still before vanishing into the great beyond. Beliefs sadly have no truth, and people will ride them to their graves. Next to her is an 8-year-old fellow Canadian who also succumbed to an incurable illness after I had 2 separate phone calls with the mother. The letter holds space in spirit for a person who made a decision. The creator cannot revoke free will; neither can any doctor. Healing is as much of an art and a devotion as it is science. But you already know that. Peace be upon her and all others facing similar circumstances.

DCME Confidential

Confidential-150x150

Question 1: I think I know what you are going to say, but here goes. My DCME is starting to miss appointments. It’s embarrassing to bring up, but I have mentioned it a couple of times to no avail. Is the sun setting on our relationship?

Answer: Elton John sings a famous song: Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me. The altitude is descending in your relationship, but don’t blame yourself; it takes two to tango.

Question 2: I have never done a DCME, and someone is asking for my help. I have no experience in them, and I’m a bit afraid. What should I do?

Answer: Before anyone, including myself, did their first DCME, they had no experience either. Marriage, kids, and becoming a doctor are all examples of starting somewhere. Go for it!
