The 4 systems key to practice thrival

Which system do you have and which one do you need?

As you gaze into your computer, you find yourself continuously searching for help with your underpowered practice. You google coaching help but the ads, websites, and emails all look the same. It’s so confusing, and yet there has to be someone who is the real deal. Once upon a time when you endured all the debt, late nights, headaches, and stress of Chiropractic school, you never envisioned you would be where you now are. It’s becoming increasingly clear that you have to find a way to exponentially increase your practice…and fast.

If you are anything like the thousands of DCs TNR has helped over the years, you’re feeling overwhelmed because you know this describes you to a tee.

In a perfect world, you wouldn’t even be reading this email; you’d have a killer practice that reflected your killer clinical skills. The world isn’t perfect, but you can still successfully practice the way you choose.

Before you start jumping for joy and making a cool million a year, you need to make sure that you have systems that serve as guidelines for your patients. Without them, the patients will run amok and enforce their limited understanding of Chiropractic down your throat. So let’s clear some of this up.

If you expect good behavior from your patients, you’re going to have to educate them. Their resistance and inability to commit is simply because they don’t know what Chiropractic is. Millennials demand they know what they are involved with or they will opt out…CLICK! If you want a practice that thrives, you need to keep your patients engaged and enrolled in what Chiropractic is.

System #2

Educating your patients is the first step, but the next step is building a relationship with them. From relationships comes results. Without a relationship of trust, your patients will have a secret mission – TO GET RID OF YOU AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. Too many a practitioners focus way too much on the results and not enough on the relationship. How many miracles have you seen walk out the door and say “I’ll be back if I need you”?

System #3

You are going to have to offer something more than adult, pain relief. I know, I know, it’s a little uncomfortable, but you are going to have to adapt to a world of non-believers if you don’t want to be chained to a practice that doesn’t reflect your true talent and abilities. Offering one type of care is a repeat of the MD way of thinking, and you will have so much competition from other DCs, PT, massage therapists, MDs, Orthos, Neuros, and the rest. If you offer corrective and wellness care in addition to condition based care, it opens up your office to new vistas of achievement and a whole different type of patient – the kind that is loyal and will gladly pay inside or outside of insurance.

System #4

Finally, it’s time to bid farewell to the concept of “I’ll figure this thing out by myself”. In today’s world, the buzzword is cooperation instead of the competition. Isolation absolutely destroys more great DCs, because they’ll do anything except ask for help and join a community of life-minded docs. Most DCs willingly struggle rather than get the necessary guidance for an awesome practice. Failure to adapt or come off your island of isolation means you will continue to fall for get rich quick marketing schemes, get further in debt with exhaustive additional certifications, and become increasingly frustrated with your stagnating practice. If you want to truly be a pro instead of a Joe, then you are going to need someone to push you and hold you accountable.
