DCME this week!

Do you notice how fast the summer goes by? It’s here, our next training experience! I’ve added a Friday night mystery event (couldn’t help myself) for this seminar. You will definitely be removed from your comfort zone. There is a persistent rumor there may be a celebrity there who most of you know: he was the guest speaker at the first TNR event in Boston! How’s that for a clue? I’m sure you will be able to squeeze an autographed book out of him! DCME is the bridge to really understanding not only the power and mystery of Chiropractic, but the intricacies of patient resistance, ignorance, and 100% belief in disease, limitation, and lack. Inside all of our minds is the voice that says I already know how to do difficult cases. Oh, no you don’t. If that were so, you would have multiple DCMEs each week, your economics would be approaching 7 figures, etc. Give your egos a rest and attend what is truly a treasure in Chiropractic: the DCME experience!

We're on the last leg of our fundraising for Love Has No Color!

We are in the home stretch!

We have until July 31st. We're still looking for a big fish donor or two to put us over the top! Have you noticed how many of your practice members not only donate but if you are offering raffles, they want to donate things, almost without asking them? In Medway, MA, a stone’s throw away from Gillette Stadium where the Patriots play, the raffle prizes range from Patriots tickets to a one day rental of a Tesla, spa days, massages, nutritional supplements, ice cream parties for kids, etc. I didn't notice a certificate to goat yoga on the list!

The last leg of the fundraising will determine how many groceries we can buy! Let’s finish strong like we always do!

Practice tip of the week

Learn how to say no without offending people. You can artfully disagree with a person without making them wrong if you have the chops. Stop being taken advantage as a people pleaser. It’s deadly to your practice, both professionally and personally. It’s part of the warrior’s way and training. A member was recently held hostage by a practice member (a nurse) to post a poster about receiving a free whooping cough vaccine. Without asking she started to tack it up on our DC's wall and then the sparks flew. Our DC stated her beliefs and the nurse practice member was outraged. (Editors note: this practice member has had 4 adjustments in the last 2 years, all insurance dependent.) She took to the neighborhood social media platform and ranted and raved. Get this everyone, vaccines have nothing to do with your office! It’s all unnecessary. Last time I checked, you can’t administer them, comment on them, or advise on them without becoming embroiled in a regulatory board controversy. There are bigger fish to fry, meaning everyone in your community being adjusted on a regular basis. Healthier people create a healthier world. Healthier people are also more open-minded and will make more responsible choices. Learn how to disagree without being held hostage!

With a straight face and even body physiology, you could say, "My malpractice insurance is so weird and it doesn’t allow me to post medical events or promotions that could be potentially dangerous. If anyone would have an allergic (saying allergic instead of adverse avoids the ego of the nurse) reaction, some lawyer could implicate me in the lawsuit, so my malpractice doesn’t allow me to post your flyer." There’s a little pirate in all TNR members.

From the mind of Miyagi

We speak so much of resonation in TNR, yet it’s still shrouded in mystery in the minds of some who have yet to investigate this fully. It was introduced way back when with the Above the Line, Below the Line model was introduced. The higher the resonation, the more high achieving, happy, purposeful and compassionate you tend to be. You are also open-minded and tend to have quite a humanitarian dimension to your life. When you are Below the Line, problems are magnified because of your inability to embrace and implement solutions. You tend to stay in problems, hold grievances, and are absorbed in yourself.

As crazy as it sounds, Below the Line people offer resistance to the world. It’s their gift. It’s what people do without power. They attempt to drag down people who do things the world has never seen. They get in the way, protest, complain, and use keyboard courage on social media; but they don’t do anything, they simply resist what others are doing. They live only to comment on others' ideas and actions, like saying it can't be done. They don't bring anything original to the table. From parents to spouses, they are the naysayers, the "what if" people who extinguish unrecognized, genius new ideas and concepts, like health instead of the more socially accepted disease. We see this with MDs and DCs. We see this on the Reservation on a daily basis. It was coined the ‘reservation hesitation’ by a TNR member. We see this with the invisible concept known as ‘colonization’, where a person is ‘held’ in low resonation and must be subservient to a dominant group, belief, concept, etc. This is how they think they keep the power, wealth, and influence, by guarding it and keeping it to themselves. With more understanding of David Hawkins and some of the sacred writings, we learn that it's only by sharing that we can keep something. This is a most counterintuitive concept because of our societal programming.

As a DC, continually removing interference to the highest resonation (Innate Intelligence), the practice member gradually not only regains their health (if possible), but like a menstrual cycle, they shed oppressive relationships both at home and at the workplace. They also get their families involved. Without removing this interference on a continual basis, what chance does an individual or a society have of becoming more compassionate and caring and expressing their true potential? Take the ‘Indian Problem’, as an example. Its solution is higher in resonation than analytical or scientific thought. As a result, it goes unsolved until a group of ‘high resonating’ people take matters into their own hands and do what has never been done.

The next time a practice member or person on the street smirks or acts patronizing to you, understand that ignorance knows no bounds. As long as it’s clear in your head, nothing external can stop you from being a once-in-a-lifetime DC!

Boot Camp/Fun Days 2019

If you are planning on participating in this year’s festivities, please let Dr. Julie know. All participants are registered and coordinated with arriving flights, departing flights, accommodations at the Homestead, transportation, etc. To be effective on the Reservation, we have to be part of the same pack and know where to be at what time, etc. We don't need stragglers or lone wolves. We shop for supplies and go to the souvenir store together. In case your flight or transportation is late, you will need to notify us. If you plan on coming, let TNR know how many people will be in your party and your flight information, or what time you will be arriving, if you are driving.

Question 1: What do I do about late night phone messages or texts from mentally or emotionally challenged DCME cases?

Answer: There need to be boundaries or you will find yourself on thin ice. You will be held legally responsible and judged by medical standards of disease where everything you say will be out of context (health) and will be taken in the wrong way. Make it clear to DCME cases that you will discuss their questions or concerns with them in person, not via text or email.

Question 2: I am hesitant to accept a DCME case because it’s an incurable illness and I don’t have the chops yet.

Answer: Are you so sure now? A DC who is actively training in TNR is in the process of getting the chops. Outside of TNR, when there is no DCME training and a DC accepts such a case, there is an integrity and a congruency issue. Ask yourself, are you doing your best with your training? Most DCs (outside of TNR) find themselves doing the same gym or fitness routine with no advancement or growth. Are you continually training by attending TNR events and Head-to-Heads in addition to your coaching calls? If you’re all in, there is a sacred agreement between you and the DCME. Remember, perfection is not attainable and is not the goal of DCME training. It’s a readiness, an awareness of the sacredness of life, urgency, and a connection to human life.
